After living in China a couple of years, you come back home, everything seems odd, feels odd. Just complaining about almost everything. Then my mother told me "you'll begin to pay rent" |
Beautiful China |
Shame on Osubunde! |
tstx:The bridge is beside Otedola Estate hence the name. |
mimimile93:Two different monickers, totally different people. One is Amara (the nurse). This one is Amaka (the dumb one on 0.1 GPA) |
MrNigeria2018:No country, no continent on earth - not America, not Europe, not China, NO ONE - can develop Africa, except Africans! Those guys come here for their own gain! If there was no big gain, they will not come! They are exploiting us and using our resources to create wealth for themselves. What you see as infrastructure is peanut compared to what they are ripping from us! Do not ever think that they are doing us a favor by coming. Africans need to think of how to develop Africa by themselves. But of course it has to start with electing the right leaders. But for now, no hope in sight especially for Nigeria. |
Do Africans really think China is some kind of Big Daddy or Father Christmas? ![]() |
OP did you say you ride Okada for a living? Are you are graduate? I am very impressed with your writing prowess. Good punctions, correct use of tenses, almost zero grammatical errors. Wow. Let me guess that you are from Southern Nigeria? Maybe South East? Look, a man that cannot write half as good as you do is the president of one nation lai dat. They say it's "quota system". Then he gets in and puts in all his brothers and sisters who hardly can spell their name correctly into juicy federal positions by appointment. And yet - here is one of us, struggling with 10K, 5K despite his educational background and strong resolve to earn a decent living. Pathetic! Call me a tribalist na you sabi. My views about Nigeria has changed in the past few years. Sorry Nation. |
sweetgala:NXP is your company, right? Don't blame China. The European and American companies sell technology to them. Not like they steal it. The selling companies are entised by money too. My company paid more that 150,000RMB to get a software called Bladed from England. Just software o. And it's just one year authorization, allows only one computer at a time. Lol. Also they will come to train staff on the usage - 15 hours a week for 4 weeks at another mind-buggling sum! We are all on it now. Hehe I work in a Wind Energy company in China. We manufacture wind turbines. We receive "come and and buy" clients everyday from Europe and America, so I understand how exactly these things work. Nice to meet a you, fellow Engineer. rezzy:Ah! Madam reezy you quoted me? Halleluya o. I read your diary. Please tell oga pastor and grandpa to stop beating those kids anyhow They should be allowed to be kids, to explore stuffs, to be naughty, to decide basic things like "going out with you or not", to take control of their lives early, of course under guidance, oral correction, mild persuation, moderate freedom etc. Explain to then that fear in kids limit the development of their curiosity, which is a key aspect to scientific advance and of course problems solving. He should allow them make mistakes, break stuffs, try to fix it with them, learn alongside, discard if it's irredeemable, buy another set in that cycle. That's why they are kids. Regards to your fam! |

China does not have prenium technologies, not yet. What they do is to go any length, pay any amount in this whole world to grab technological documents from technologically advanced countries in Europe and America. Also they can pay exorbitantly to get their staff trained by the owners of the core tech. Then viola! Give them two years, just two years, they will remodel that technology, retweek it here and there and present to the world a "brand new" technology! Don't be surprised if these cars have more features and better functionalities that the original models. There is actually nothing wrong with this "copying" technique per say. I understand it as "learning by imitation" which is good because it works for them! Lemme give a clear instance: Uber came out as just a car hailing service, convey you from point A to B, maybe with GPS services, I don't know. But China copied it and named it "DiDi". Now y'all need to see what DiDi is today! Apart from these basic services, they have gone steps higher to introduce more car-hailing options, very multifunctional, very smart APP, very flexible too. Kuai che - If you are in a hurry, from point A to B Shunfeng che - You can book ahead, say you wanna leave at 5pm, you can book it hours or even days ahead. VIP che - With this option, you can hail a very touché car, even Hummer Jeep sef - well dressed, kitted up drivers and professional services, for those that value the art of classy arrivals to events. Gongjiao che - If you are going to switch to public bus midway. DaiJia - Let's say you hang out and get drunk, they'll send a driver to take you home in your own car. Self-drive Rental - Self explainatory name right? They've started selling second hand cars too. Same thing they did with Wechat. With wechat now, no one needs to look for change after a purchase, you can scan or get scanned to pay for anything and everything, you can send your real-time location, shake your phone with someone at the same time and the phones connect, make new friends within a range, news feeds, mini programs, games + ranking with your contacts, favorites, mobile top-up, paying utility bills etc. They also support third-party APPs. Classy right? |
OP, I thought your other thread will make front page. Lol |
Theives! All of them! |
Nairalanders are still tagging this woman to Tuface . Maybe it's gonna be that way forever ![]() Anyway, one of the consequences of making poor decisions. |
I remember a video of this lady that trended this year. She was speaking in tongues and praising Jehova in the different languages she was calling out. She had managed to learn the Igbo names for God, and maybe a few other Nigerian languages. Then she geared into foreign languages. Japanese o, German o kiniko Then she spoke "Chinese", a language I know very well. I laughed and said in my mind "fraudster". ![]() Funny thing is that people were "falling under annointing" and shouting all the "halleluya" in the "highest realms". ![]() Theif Theif all of them. |
Grandma has got flat tummy o #envy ![]() Lovely family pics Just that I don't understand what the long sermon is about. Deep hurting issues? Or throwing shades? ![]() |
salt1:I'm really happy for you. The problem is not about marrying a born-again whoever. You might get into a relationship with someone you trust so with all your heart and they still mess up. Even some born again, twice, thrice tongue-speaking brethren are still caught in many indecent acts. Pastors sef. I'm also aware of many people who do not know Christ are also doing well (although not Nigeria). I guess it's largely about self-discipline and luck to meet someone who has a strong resolve not to mess around. Someone who understands that cheating kills both the cheat and the cheated emotionally and psychologically. Because it is until an adult decides within him/herself "NO, NEVER", only then can they be faithful. No supernatural force innit! Once again, congratulations and maximum respect to your spouse who gives you such peace Cc: BruncleZuma DavidEsq |
DavidEsq:I'm happy for you. Quite encouraging |
BruncleZuma:Depends on your level of confidence. I'd love to hear though. Lol |
Is any man or woman on this thread who has being in a relationship with his/her spouse for at least 10 years and still has that inner peace that your partner has being faithful to you and only you? Please help me, tell me about it. Give me hope. Modern-day relationship scares me |
