Politics › Re: Nigeria Sliding Into Dictatorship – PDP Governors by focus7:
PDP should learn to deal with the pain of losing. If the pdp!g governors have forgotten, Nigerians has not forgotten how Jonathan government used the same DSS to persecute the opposition APC, how the leaderships of APC were unjustly arrested and detained during Ekiti and Osun gubar elections, how APC governors were denied of their human right by preventing their entering Ekiti while the likes of Obanikoro, Omisore, KAshamu and Chris Uba, were given escorts, arms and money to enter and freely work around Ekiti during the gubar election, we also remember how DSS unjustly invaded APC office to cart away their computers on baseless allegations prior to the last general election. All these happened during PDP reign in power and they are here making hypocritical noise. Buhari till 2023, APC till pdp!g go into extinct.

buhari get brain ni?
Is amazing that all your brain could afford you is to be a commentator on Nairaland, Buhari with his no brain is known all over the world, Buhari with his no brain is the president oof Nigeria ruling over you. You with your brain is a nonentity, even many from your immediate family circle does not even know you exist and probably you are jobless. From the way you are going about your life you may even end up your life as a beggar, and you call what you have a brain, I guess you have an ant brain.

Op if you still read this comment, I need toi say that your post shows that you are worthless and you lack class. First of all the men around (off internet) no one consider you to be worthy of a relationship until you encounter a useless chain smoker, again you are hell bent on sticking up with him in a relation for fear of being left over.

Why do you think Buhari has only been making noise only in the pages of newspapers for the last 3 months? He knows what will happen shpuld he go beyond that
This remind me of how your hero Asari Dokubo and other tanoid threatened that hell will let lose if Jonathan did not win the election, empty drums making loud noise, shukudi chest beater.

Politics › Re: DSS Invasion Of Akwa Ibom Govt’s House Unacceptable – Fayose by focus7: 8:05pm On Sep 04, 2015
Unfortunately the same Fayose was in Nigeria during Jonathan when the same DSS invaded the APC office in Lagos, when the same DSS ambushed hounded the opposition party leaders during the Ekiti and Osun governorship election, when the same DSS invaded news media houses and impounded newspapers all during Jonathan government and he never cry authoritarian nor despotic then. If the activities of the DSS was acceptable during Jonathan government then Fayose and PDP should learn how to tolerate their activities now.

@Chidoks
i am sorry to say that Mrs B is RIGHT in how she views the case, and WRONG in how she acted when she saw the husband coming out of hotels etc

she is RIGHT in wanting to tell her friends (aka Mrs C and you) what she saw and her suspicions... i mean, what are friends for, right?!
she is WRONG because she should have gone straight to the guy and ask him what the hell he was doing with that lady in a hotel while his wife is at home bla bla bla. the fact that she "could" be a business associate is irrelevant here, and that man should know that anything suspicious will be reported to his wife.

now here is a question for you: what do you expect your friends to do if they see your future hubby coming out of a hotel with a lady?
Point of correction, friends are not for amebo and home breaking. That you saw a man and a lady together in an eatery or coming out or going into an hotel does not mean they have amoral affair. A lady friend of mine was to have a conference and urged me to go with her to source for a hall to use in an hotel, the hotel is located along a busy express road in Lagos, and I am a popular person in the environment due to my career. So as we are about entry the hotel I heard a voice frantically calling at me to get my attention to let me know that she saw me, by the time I turned to her I could see the expression on her face though she acted as though she meant only greet me. I greeted her and entered the hotel with my friend not minding her insinuation since I was not guilty, I and my friend talked and laughed over it. You see unnecessary insinuations and interference has caused more havoc to marriages than is needed. I told my wife to not listen to what she heard people report to her about me if she doesn't want hurt herself as I have much female friends as I do men. Lady B should let that couple be.

EggovinMma:
Well big you a bigot, a common bigot cannot tell what he has achieved, maybe I can tell you what my father, a man has achieved in his 30+ in lagos as a semi literate.

My father came to Lagos when he was around 25 years, a young man with a vision to succeed. My father started hawking medicine from one hospital to another, from mainland to the island, smelling under hot scorching sun.
My father, saved enough to rent a face me house, there he continued to visit local hospitals where he sold syringes, Ivs and cotton wools, first aid materials.
My father at some point did cabu cabu to sustain himself.
My father married my mom at 30 and had 6 children.
My father due to years of experience who started from small hospital later started supplying for big hospitals in the island and ikoyi
My father trained all 6 of us, presently we are 4 graduates, all for from Federal universities while the remaiining two is coming out soon, both from federal university as well.
My father has built his own house in lagos and in the village
My father is still struggling at age 58.Hell he just sent money for the recent surgery I did, not because I asked but because he felt until I get married, he is still responsible for me.

Let me remind you that my brothers are not here ON NL lazying around. Two of them are into my father business already. Let me also remind you that both has bought their own lands too from this age long business of running under hot scorching sun, this time around with suit and tie the took up after seeing the gain it would fetch them than working or waiting for employment.

I also want to remind you that for over 30 years, he paid his tax.
I want to remind you also that in his warehouse he was robbed countless times by thieves , Omo niles. He didn't call the police, because most of the yoruba guys then, he knew their parents. He will complain, forgive and then come home to mourn his loss.

Now I ask again, what have you achieved even as a graduate with technology at his disposal. What have you achieved as an Omo nile? Because my father didn't get the little he can boast of today by sitting down and waiting for manners to fall from heaven. He learnt Yoruba language so very well that I have seen him fit in perfectly well with Alayes of lagos island. When they break bottle, he breaks his own bottle.

Again, I ask did you start from scratch to get to where you are today?
. Wow, eggovinMma I didn't expect you take this too personal as most time we just came here to catch fun I never meant to hurt your emotion. My respect to your dad for all he has achieved through personal effort especially all he could have gone through to raise wonderful children like you. But then I don't always like this self trumpet blowing that is common with the igbos. You don't even know who is who on NL, the fact that we all come on this forum does not mean that we are bunch of non-achievers. I will take this anyway as though you are just growing up and you are still learning, soon you will grown enough to realise that only immature minds goes to broadcast their achievements in the public. I hope we should be friends, mark my moniker as I have marked yours.

As a yoruba guy, what part of lagos economy have you manipulated to your advantage?
You won't know even if I tell you, but if you want me to show a proof try send your snake around and you will see how I butcher it to pieces. You know what, now I know why igbo people manifest snake spirit at deliverance.

Funny!! If an Umuohi woman is maltreated a phython appears in the house, the igbos better warn their eke not to appear in a Lagos compound, I swear it will be killed and be served as pepper soup. So primitive set of people going everywhere to make noise how they developed Lagos, Abuja and Kano while they lives with pythons in their village.
