When I was still in corporate Nigeria, my bosses were my "Next of Kin" and not my wife or children. I had to explain that to my wife when she saw who I used as "next of kin" in a document. She questioned why it was not her or any of our children.

Currently, my next of kin is one of my rich neighbors that we greet and do jogging together. I trust he is someone that if called on any emergency concerning me, he would act immediately. Next of kin should be someone that has the means, both financial and the capacity to act on your behalf, in case of emergency for you. Do not use a lame duck as your next of kin.

But for inheritance purposes, where your assets, savings or investments have to be given to next of kin, you can use your family member - wife, children or parents. My point is in case of any emergency, always indicate a capable person as next of kin. If I travel and had to fill form in a hotel, i use my capable friend as next of kin.

Don't take Nigeria's politics and politicians too seriously for your sanity. Focus on yourself, your success and that of your family. Prioritise your success above everything, including above the nation, as when the chips are down, it would boil down on how you are contented with your life and not that of the politicians or the nation

I never took the man serious during the 2023 election. I believed he was there to play a "role" and a "script" that were already prepared by APC. In Nigeria politics, the more you look, the less you see. Sadly, the supporters may not understand the political game being played

Something I never saw the former FCT Minister under Buhari did - inspecting or commissioning a project. That Muhammed of a guy was just like his boss, Buhari. Uninspiring and thoughtless!!! Any alliance should be for 2031 and not 2027. Politically, the momentum is on Tinubu's side. PDP, especially, the southern members and their governors are not willing to fund the party for the 2027 general elections. None has come forward to campaign for the party or any alliance.

Never underestimate the effects of poverty on people's behaviour. Nigeria's system is structured so that most of the citizens, including the security personnel, would perpetually be in want. The political system has weaponized poverty and reduces people's cognitive abilities and rational thinking to nothing. I am a minimalist - I don't have up to four footwears - Just three sneakers and one shoe.

I don't keep things I do not need. As the appeal of any wear or shoe diminishes, I give them out immediately, to have space. There is no clothes in my wardrobe that I don't wear. Same to shoe wears. Once I don't need you again, you are gone. Moreover, I don't accumulate to keep. Get few high quality things and use them consistently than packing your space with many low inferior items.

I wonder how a sane Nigeria would think that BAT would loose 2027 election. Just zero your mind that BAT would be the president till 2031. Nothing will stop BAT in 2027. He has rendered every possible opposition parties powerless.

Exercise in futility. Nothing is stopping Tinubu. He is far ahead of them in this game. He defeated both of them in 2023 as an ordinary person and you expect that they will defeat him when he is wielding so much power as a sitting president? Any alliance should be for 2031 elections. Tinubu wouldn't want to be another Jonathan.

Nothing is stopping Tinubu in 2027. The opposition parties are in disarray and it would continue till 2027. Bukola Sarki has already given update on the current happenings within the opposition circle. He has admitted defeat and unlikely that the current occupant of Asorock would be ejected. The opposition parties can never come up with a workable alliance that would stand the test of time.

My own is, don't venture at night in Lagos if you don't have anything serious to go and do. Even outside my estate gate, anything could still happen. Lots of people moving around at night, especially those abokis that moves in groups. I fear them pass anything. They don't have any house and sleep in front of people's shops and disappear before dawn.
