I don't know why people are so excited about the coalition as if they had won the election. Its still a long battle ahead. The government is not sleeping. If Tinubu could muscle his way to power, despite all the challenges and obstacles on his way, how much more now that he is the President. Don't underestimate the power of the president of the federal Republic to manipulate national institutions to his advantage. Tinubu is not goodluck and he knows how to waggle his way. |
People that don't understand politics are here saying that the ticket should be given to Obi. Do you think that Obi has more electoral value than Atiku? Atiku stands the best of chances to be the party flag bearer. Obi should take a bow and deputise for Atiku. The Nigeria's Political system rewards those that have served and paid their dues. Obidients should not allow sentiments to becloud their sense of reasoning. |
Antoeni:Is he of any electoral value? Can he win any election or galvanised people within his locality towards a political cause? The only thing he may bring to the table is "Sahara reporters". If he joins, Sahara reporters may be sympathetic to ADC and would stop attacking ADC leaders, that's all |
I don't know why people are so excited about the coalition. PBAT is not sleeping. He has INEC with him. 2027 would be the worst presidential election in history. The silent rigging, violence and manipulation that would happen are still doing press up. |
Time to cash out. This Kachiukwu and the former chairman of ADC will cash out, big time. But wait o, who are going to fund ADC? No governor has agreed to join or sent a representative. Even Otti has disowned his membership of the party. Otti doesn't seem to rate Obi at all. |
Exercise in futility!!! You may not like my comments but dislodging Tinubu is not going to a child's play. Tinubu is a master in the game. He is not Good luck and would do everything to retain power. Sadly for the coalition, there is no governor present in the unveiling |
Carework is never an easy job. Lots of sadist are doing the job because they could not see any other job. Some would allow their attitude to affect their daily job. If you are not a patient, caring, understanding and resilient person, don't take care jobs abroad. |
Nigeria's politics is not for the faint hearted. The coalition should have tightened all loosed ends with legacy executives of ADC. I Know it is not easy to satisfy all members of the ADC. Those that did not get anything would still cause trouble for the new members of the coalition. Believe me, opposition may continue to be in disarray till 2027 and may not have a strong rallying party. |
Atiku and Obi for become President and Vice if they had worked together - sadly, they all their own ambition, which worked against them, allowing the "great" BAT to capitalized on that to clinch the presidency. The 2023 election thought me many things. To imagine that the combined votes of Obi and Atiku was up to 14m and still lost the election should be a puzzle. |
Obi seems not to understand how Nigeria's politics works. It would be extremely difficult for him to win the presidency by going solo. Obi had the best of chance to deputize for Atiku in 2023 but he felt that he would win. I am not disputing his capacity to govern but in Nigeria, you have to use your senses to achieve what you want. It is either Obi is a front for APC or he is under a big illusion |
2027 permutation is in full gear. Kwankwaso may likely replace Shettima as VP nominee in 2027. PBAT is already preparing for 2027. He wants to do everything to checkmate Atiku's influence in the North |
TUANKU:That's true. Everyone would be forming superman with lies and deceits, that he or she gamed them. A pregnant woman would be at the airport, still denying that she wasn't coming to give birth. Right from the interview stage, my wife told them the intent and the money she had. At the Atalanta airport, she repeated the same reason. That was more than 13 years ago. We are used to cutting corners and be defending the lies with more lies and wip sentiments at the end, as the "victim", since we have normalised lies and deceits. |
I have followed that Professor Oramah and I have been impressed with how he brought some development financing ptojects to Nigeria. The newly established AFREXIM medical center is headquartered in Abuja. Under his leadership, lots of projects were financed by AFREXIM. Honestly, I wished that Nigeria could benefit from international organisations the way Nigeria benefited from AFREXIM, thanks to the Professor. |
Nigerian soldiers should look better. They are in a war zone for crying out loud and you would see them dressed casually. This is why they are always caught unaware by the bandits. They should always be in their full military gear, helmet, boots and well loaded magazines. This one is just wearing a rubber slippers with an outdated wooden AK 47 |
![]() See how everybody dey use Obi shine - Honestly, Obi should not have come down so low with that outburst, under camera. It seems that he does not know his worth. Nothing stops him from requesting for an audience with the commissioner for environment or even the state Governor. You were once a former governor for crying out loud and you went to the demolished site to wine like a man that was evacuated from his shanties in maroko. As a former state governor and a high level politician, he would be granted audience in most of the offices he enters in Nigeria - be it public or private |
Good luck to all the applicants. Graduate and youth unemployment in Nigeria is at a record level |
I never liked this guy. He's too emotionally unstable. I thought his only other brother was a reverend father and his only sister a reverend sister. Which other brother does he has that acquired landed property in Lagos? Does reverend fathers acquire property? |
The kidnapped business man and his families would have gladly agreed to pay millions in ransom to be freed than to be caught in the cross fire for his rescue that eventually claimed his life. So sad Vigilantes are doing the dirtiest of jobs in Nigeria. They are always bold and courageous than the typical police and the security intelligence officers, |
Oyo state government should apply to court to take ownership of the man's estate as his wealth were proceeds of corruption. Nigeria has institutionalized corruption that people are not ashamed to fight openly about proceeds of corruption. Nothing you wan tell me - those assets and money in different currencies were proceeds of looting of Oyo treasury. But this is Nigeria were nobody is held accountable. Some will come out here to defend the family and tell me to mind my own State. |
Siasi should not have responded the way he did. That was a gutter response. His response was below expectation. I doubt if Mikel could have made such statement without facts. The time he made that statement, Siasi did not deny it. Why come now to make the statement and at the same time, taking a jab at him? It seems there is a beef somewhere between the duo. Siasi should just pipe low considering that he is coming out of ban that has tarnished his image. I am waiting for Mikel to refute what Siasi said. If he is unable to do, that would be a big shame for him. |
Trump just wants to share in the spoils of the war. He doesn't want Netanyahu to take all the glory and credits in decimating Iran. He wants it to be on record that he was the one that "defeated " Iran and forced them to negotiate. |
Nothing spectacular about British High schools. A normal state secondary school here in Lagos can beat a typical British High school in any competition. Smartness is now moving towards Asia of China, Korea, Japan, Singapore and Vietnam. Congratulations to the lads. You can't get it wrong with a Catholic- run school. |
Wahala for those with visa appointments. I hate to be in this kind of situation. Some may have booked their flights to come to Abuja for visa appointments with those embassy. Appointments that have taken weeks to book and now put on hold. These foreign missions and their service providers, sometimes, could behave anyhow, which they would not tolerate in their own countries from other foreign missions, especially from African missions. Most visa service providers like TLS, BLS and co are Indian-owned with their poor corporate ethics and compliance issues |
All these people saying he should come back home are just jealous that the guy is running a PHD in the States. Come back home to do what, exactly? If you think that the guy has any intention of coming back home, you are dreaming. He is a research student, which is a STEM program. Nigeria is not for him. He may even struggle to get a teaching job in a polytechnic without connection. However, if he is found guilty of identity theft or any crime, he should be deported. I hate it when Nigerians go abroad and starts committing crime. |
I fear who no fear Israel - Intelligence and evidence - led assault. They have been gathering intelligence for years. This shows the importance of adequate planning in any endeavor - use 90% to plan and strategize and use 10% for execution. This rule was one of the best rule I learnt when I was in training school as a Management Trainee. I do not support the war but we have lots to learn from the Israeli leadership on how to execute a plan. Nigeria's security network should work with Israel on intelligence gathering. Our intelligence network here is abysmally below standard. |
I hope the owners of those old 4 and 5 story buildings that littered Onitsha, Nkpor and Awada are also listening. Sadly, 90% of them have passed on and their children do not have the means to maintain those properties. Igbo men of 70s, 80s and early 90s are the real MVP. The way they were erecting 4 decking everywhere in Onitsha then is beyond comprehension. To even build a bungalow these days is becoming difficult. Those men could have 4 story buildings in five locations across Onitsha. Their children now cant even maintain them talk more of adding another one. I have also noticed that wealth is not being transferred to the next generation. I have seen families in Anambra that their father had so many houses in Onitsha but the children are not doing anything now, just living off the rent that are being collected from their fathers properties. Why didn't they sustain their father's businesses that resulted in the building and acquisition of the properties? |
If you marry this one, know that her pastor comes before you. She's the kind that would use your money to prepare pounded yam and egusi soup, garnished with goat meat for her pastor while she cooks spaghetti for you with fish head only. Lots of church ladies have been brainwashed into seeing their pastors as the ultimate decision maker in their lives |
Stupid comment from the village boxer - so petty. Thank God that Cuppy kicked your ass out!!! |
And light still dey the hospital ![]() Here, random rain thunder will drop and NEPA would just off light |
So the pictures I am seeing shows the "influx" of people . Umahi doing everything to show that his airport is viable. Airpeace just brought in press people and not commercial passengers. Umahi should own up and agree that the airport project isn't viable. |
Go find job, abeg Nothing compares the experience one build from working - study and all these theoretical acquisitions does little to one's knowledge. The work experience, skills and competence I acquired after just one year as a Graduate Management Trainee beats the five years I spent in the Nigerian university |
BAT may likely pick a top politician as a running mate in 2027, as the running mate may be the potential APC flagbearer in 2031. As BAT is planning for 2027, he also has his eyes set on 2031 when power goes to the North. He wants someone that could "guarantee" "victory" for APC in 2031. BAT is definitely looking beyond 2027 |
