If Iran retaliates, Israel would target their oil installations and that would spell doom for the Iranian economy. It is better for Iran to take their time and bid their response. They should not respond at the moment. The loss would be huge. Apart from military targets, the next targe would be oil facilities. |
When I see men in their 80s still moving about, with their mental health intact, I feel deeply sorry for my father. Poor health has really affected him and his well-being |
Nursing is always expensive in private and public universities and at the end, the few that would be lucky to get job after graduating would be paid peanuts. Anyway, most study Nursing with the hope of japaing later. |

If you have the money, go ahead and marry on time. But if you don't have the money or you are struggling, please don't do it. It would cut your likelihood of success by half. I was financially ok to marry at 28 but didn't do it. I married at 32, well prepared, financially, emotionally and mentally. I was also ready to be a father at 32 and was well prepared for the arrival of the little ones unlike when I was 28. |
Stupid cooked up stories. By the way, I wonder how men could be careless and lacking good observations skills. There is no way you will see your child without knowing. You don't even need DNA. The DNA fraud happens to men that are not involved, physically and emotionally, in raising a child. Carrying your child, you should be able to see some similarities in physical attributes, behaviours and intellect. May looking at my children, I see striking similarities in everything with myself, the smiles, the eyes movement, walking, and general attributes. If the resemblance is not directly same with you, it would be your own siblings. My daughter is a carbon copy of my elder sister and my sister's pictures at a younger age could be mistaken as my daughter. |
He has completed the assignment Jagaban sent him to do in PDP. Atiku didn't even noticed that he was played, big time. Imagine Dele Momodu, a well known friend of BAT working for Atiku. ![]() |
Even the local high-life musician, Aro Nwanteje, uses the title. "Dr." before his name, Dr. Aro Nwanteje. ![]() |
What a legend!!!! If you have not read any book written by this man, you missed a lot. A very prolific writer. He gave a good account of the Nigeria-Biafra war. One of his books, "The Making of an African Legend " was a masterpiece of the event of 1967 to 1970. |
SMH - Everything about Nigerian pastors have spiritual connotations. How is it possible that MouthAction affects ovulation without any medical research to back it up - Anyway, most of the audience believes that everything is spiritual |
One of them was caught removing a fence security light - If your fence security is made of wrought iron, know that the wondering iron condemn guys would target it. They have virtually removed all metal gutter and manhole covers in Lagos |
The G5 governors are the luckiest set of former PDP governors. As long as Wike gets their backing, they are moving stronger, even getting ambassadorial posts. I think Wike seems loyal and dedicated to those that stands by him. Those governors dared PDP and went with Wike/ Now, they are all reaping the reward. Nigeria's politics |
Anxious and fear of failing....from my Dad The man was always proactive and find it difficult remaining calm if things are not going well as planned. Reason why he takes time to put things in order before any event. This also happens to me..... fear of uncertainty and what the future holds. My father started talking to me about the future why I was still in primary 5 and said he wouldn't want to see me struggle and not achieve success. Funny enough, I started engaging my children about their future and what they should do to succeed, which I attribute to fear of unknown and uncertainties. Then from my mum, Stealth and too much sense. |
Very difficult to prove a case of forgetfulness here. As I earlier said on this issue, if she had brought forward the bracelet days after picking it up, hers would be a case of forgetfulness. But to be supposedly shown evidence that she picked it and said she forgot would be extremely difficult to prove. As a black person living in western society, the odds are already stacked against you. You are constantly on a race to prove your worth and integrity, which the locals are not. |
This story looks cooked, garnished and unreal. If for any reason, the story was true, then, OP is an unserious fellow. Lack of adequate preparation is the Hallmark of unserious people. You have no business being in the filling station for fuel. Things like job interviews, visa appointment, high level meetings with consequences, make or mar contract appointments, I prepare in advance, even if it means getting a night of short let apartment or hotel closed to vicinity of where the interview would happen. I had done it in the past, where I paid for a hotel in VI to sleep over because of an important interview next day, instead of stressing myself to drive from mainland to island for a 9am appointment or interview |
Nigerians and ignorance. People could still work in any age as long as the person is still fit and strong. I worked with a 74 year old man while I was in the UK. I have an 82 great grandmother from my village that is still working in a child care services with the city of Houston in the US. The woman's situation is dicey and could be misinterpreted by people depending on one's perception of her action. If the bracelet stayed with her for a week and she voluntarily returned it, it could be accepted that she forgot it in her bag when she found it. But if she returned it when she was caught via CCTV and she returned it with an explanation that she forgot, then, it would be difficult for people to believe her. I pity her. It is bad to have a dent on your career, especially abroad. Seeking for jobs abroad requires serious disclosure on one's past and any dent on your previous work could spell doom for your career. |
AnuOluwatomilol:Which account on "X"? Trump doesn't use Twitter or "X" again. He talks from his own social media company called "Truth Social ". Even when Elon lifted the ban placed on Trump on Twitter, Trump, as a wise man, refused to return and instead, set up his own social media. |
Stupid demand!!!! Why didn't you issue the same order to Buhari? BAT is not going to end anything, the same way he would not be able to end "sit-at-home" in the East. The North should take measures to end the banditry. The East should also rise up and end the sit at home but the president needs to release Kanu so that the real criminals causing mayhem in the name of Kanu would be apprehended |
They all look petit and under age to be graduating from secondary school |
aribisala0:Stop explaining anything to those guys above. What you pointed were the things Prof. Aminu did. He was too sentimental in his approach, if you were opportuned to listen to some of his comments. The other Minister of Education, Professor somebody Liman, I have forgotten his first name, came and messed up everything to the extent that he made comments about Southern Nigeria having a "mad" rush for Western Education. There are some comments unbeffiting of a serving Minister |
The fencing contract should be handed over to an Israeli construction firm. They are very good at putting up boundary fence with good security surveillance systems. |
AIG get height o |
I hope that some people within the ranks and files of the armed forces are not informants to the herders. I have the feeling that there is a mole that would be leaking sensitive military activities to the marauders |
SMH on the comments above - Nigeria subsidiary of MTN is managed by Nigerians and not South African people. The Nigerian CEO should put on his thinking cap and implement far reaching business ideas with positive outcome in the market they serve. MTN South African has not done anything wrong. You will see the top executives and senior managers in MTN Nigeria with their pot bellies, cruising in SUV with zero product knowledge on how to serve their immediate market. |
PDP members are in serious dilemma about Wike - when he was single-handedly sponsoring the party, the party big wigs were in Abuja eating his money and singing his praises - they allowed him to keep changing the leadership of the party because he was the one funding the party - he even hosted the national convention of the party for the selection of its presidential flagbearer in 2019. As the governor of Rivers state, Wike was the sole decision maker of the PDP. He funded PDP candidates in other states and was the rallying point for Obaseki during his rift with Oshimole, when APC denied him ticket. The behemoth they allowed to grow is about to consume them. Nevertheless, PDP is in Wike's hands. |
People in the South do not know how maternal mortality has killed many mothers in Nigeria. The mortality rate in the South is not that big. When I served in the North, I could not count the number of times people within where I stayed as Corper passed away while giving birth. Two staff (laborers) of the firm I worked for lost their wives while giving birth. Maternal mortality is deeply entrenched in the North and I don't know why government have not taken it seriously. |
Samfloxin:Real estate marketers are becoming another set of motivational speakers. You people would see a security man earning 50k and advice him to come and buy land and be paying "small small". At the end, the man would not have anything left in his pocket, wouldn't be able to feed himself and would be unable to sell the land as he has not completed payment. Make una dey fear God o ![]() |
They should have added June 12 instead of wasting money and resources to announce another public holiday on June 12. ![]() Naija sweet die. The country with the highest number of public holidays in the world |
I hope say US and NATO no go place sanctions on Nigeria for honoring the friendly game . The West is doing everything to isolate Russia, including using sports. |
This one enter, abeg. Wiked Wike, finishing Amaechi . Amaechi's worse nightmare. |
I no see any smiling chinko face in the photograph |
It's quite sad that majority of Igbos do not understand or know who were/are the heroes of Biafra. Many are busy celebrating Kanu and other modern Biafra "agitators ". Why not put the pictures of brave Biafran soldiers that died defending the cause of the resistance? Pictures of Professors Kenneth Dike, Eni Njoku, Kalu Ezira and others; Christopher Okigbo, Frederick Forsyth, Bruce Mayrock, UNICEF, CARITAS, Red Cross; World Council of Churches - these were organisations that saved Igbos from mass starvation; People like Mazi Mbonu Ojike, Dr. M.I Okpara, Okokon Ndem were all heroes. The then Presidents of Ivory Coast, Gabon, Zambia, Tanzania (Julius Nyerere), Haiti, Kenya and others that gave the nascent Republic a diplomatic recognition. |
