There was a report released by the American Embassy in Abuja which claimed Nigerians top the list when it comes to lying and deceit/misinformation regarding Visa applications and it seems true.

That's true. Everyone would be forming superman with lies and deceits, that he or she gamed them. A pregnant woman would be at the airport, still denying that she wasn't coming to give birth. Right from the interview stage, my wife told them the intent and the money she had. At the Atalanta airport, she repeated the same reason. That was more than 13 years ago. We are used to cutting corners and be defending the lies with more lies and wip sentiments at the end, as the "victim", since we have normalised lies and deceits.

I have followed that Professor Oramah and I have been impressed with how he brought some development financing ptojects to Nigeria. The newly established AFREXIM medical center is headquartered in Abuja. Under his leadership, lots of projects were financed by AFREXIM. Honestly, I wished that Nigeria could benefit from international organisations the way Nigeria benefited from AFREXIM, thanks to the Professor.

Nigeria has institutionalized corruption that people are not ashamed to fight openly about proceeds of corruption. Siasi should not have responded the way he did. That was a gutter response. His response was below expectation. I doubt if Mikel could have made such statement without facts. The time he made that statement, Siasi did not deny it. Why come now to make the statement and at the same time, taking a jab at him? It seems there is a beef somewhere between the duo. Wahala for those with visa appointments. I hate to be in this kind of situation. Some may have booked their flights to come to Abuja for visa appointments with those embassy. Appointments that have taken weeks to book and now put on hold. These foreign missions and their service providers, sometimes, could behave anyhow, which they would not tolerate in their own countries from other foreign missions, especially from African missions. Most visa service providers like TLS, BLS and co are Indian-owned with their poor corporate ethics and compliance issues

All these people saying he should come back home are just jealous that the guy is running a PHD in the States. Come back home to do what, exactly? If you think that the guy has any intention of coming back home, you are dreaming. He is a research student, which is a STEM program. Nigeria is not for him. He may even struggle to get a teaching job in a polytechnic without connection. However, if he is found guilty of identity theft or any crime, he should be deported. I hate it when Nigerians go abroad and starts committing crime.

I fear who no fear Israel - Intelligence and evidence - led assault. They have been gathering intelligence for years. This shows the importance of adequate planning in any endeavor - use 90% to plan and strategize and use 10% for execution. This rule was one of the best rule I learnt when I was in training school as a Management Trainee. I hope the owners of those old 4 and 5 story buildings that littered Onitsha, Nkpor and Awada are also listening. Sadly, 90% of them have passed on and their children do not have the means to maintain those properties. Igbo men of 70s, 80s and early 90s are the real MVP. The way they were erecting 4 decking everywhere in Onitsha then is beyond comprehension. To even build a bungalow these days is becoming difficult. Those men could have 4 story buildings in five locations across Onitsha. Their children now cant even maintain them talk more of adding another one. I have also noticed that wealth is not being transferred to the next generation. I have seen families in Anambra that their father had so many houses in Onitsha but the children are not doing anything now, just living off the rent that are being collected from their fathers properties. Why didn't they sustain their father's businesses that resulted in the building and acquisition of the properties?

The problem with Iran is that there are Iranian citizens that are paid agents of MOSSAD. Iran is not as united as Israel. Lots of progressive Iranian wants the Ayatollah's regime to collapse so that moderate and progressives could take over and move Iran towards the likes of gulf states. Iranian informants are given signals to the Israeli intelligence on targets to strike. The take over of catholic schools in Nigeria after the civil war was a grave mistake by the military government of that era. That takeover completed the full destruction of primary and secondary schools in Nigeria. As at then, people, especially brilliant minds looked forward to going to Catholic- run schools, as they were perceived to be the best. Gowon, ill-advised by the Northern oligarchy, mandated States to take over the missionary schools and they ended up messing up the whole thing. Thank God that BAT restored full authority of the schools to the Church as governor of Lagos state and Peter Obi did same in Anambra. The schools are going back to their former glories.

He still remembers Nigeria, having visited the country before. He must have been devastated by the pictures of women and children massacred in cold blood and the government has not issued any statement to that regard. The Ukrainian war has taken a great toll on Russia - Russia is finding it difficult to support some of its allies like Iran and Venezuela. Nigerian politicians and their cronies have forfeited millions to the crown court in respect of illegally acquired properties in UK or as an earnest to get freedom. Politicians have used banks and BDCs to transfer millions to UK and other western countries to acquire properties and businesses.

The President should temper justice with mercy and release him with certain conditions. It is important to release him so that the security forces would deal with those causing mayhem in the name of detaining Kanu. If Kanu is released, it would be easier to isolate those causing mayhem in SE in the name of IPOB and Kanu. Nigeria is spending so much in maintaining security personnel in SE, where they are not doing anything.
