Onitsha would have been a lively city, like some of the Asian and middle eastern cities, with its peculiar high rising residential buildings. But government's inefficiency, corruption and citizens' low standards in everything have made the city not to take its pride of place in modern city landscape. In the streets are open gutters, bad roads and dirty environments, far from what a modern city should be. It is not about Onitsha alone, this descriptions are common among most of the Nigerian cities.

When I first read this story on Facebook, I couldn't hold myself. Lots of things were going on in my head. I just couldn't imagined my own person in that kind of situation. So pathetic!!!

I don't know how people still have the belief that Tinubu would loose the 2027 general elections. The margin of "victory" would be far higher than what we saw in 2023.

I am surprised at how some people are bashing the NFF. Kudos to them for unearthing this "infringement " on FIFA rules. They can't use the road again. They are all building airports in their respective states, even if it is viable or not.

Ekiti Airport and Ebonyi Airport would be competing for an Airport with the lowest passenger traffic. The airport is just there to service politicians and high networth individuals.

While it's commendable that we are promoting our own educational institutions, how about elites sending their own children outside the country to study? What message is that communicating to the people?

Foreign Universities gives one an unmatched exposure. Sadly, most Nigerians and politicians would travel abroad, school there and come back to continue in their old ways of doing things.

The exposure one gets by studying abroad, interacting with students from other parts of the world, new environment and opportunities are endless.
