While it's commendable that we are promoting our own educational institutions, how about elites sending their own children outside the country to study? What message is that communicating to the people?

Foreign Universities gives one an unmatched exposure. Sadly, most Nigerians and politicians would travel abroad, school there and come back to continue in their old ways of doing things.

The exposure one gets by studying abroad, interacting with students from other parts of the world, new environment and opportunities are endless.

Most academics now are fond of hyping any research they are into just to see if they could get in more funding.

They work hand- in -hand with some PR consultant to project their on-going research as the next thing that would happen to mankind after the slice bread.

I contemplated doing same while in the UK in 2019 but the cost of projecting my research areas by the PR people was way above me.

See how Ukraine caged the almighty Russia and made them to look ordinary and incapable of helping their allies. The West deliberately used the Ukrainian war to keep Russia busy. You hardly see or hear Russia getting involved in any other external matters except their current war with Ukraine. 2023 presented the best of chances for him, if he had paired with Atiku. I trust Atiku to make way for him after his 4 or 8 years tenure. In Nigeria, you have to crawl, politically, before making claim to the presidency. Atiku would have been the best route for Obi to get to the presidency. Emotions and sentiments do not win anything. You play the game the way it is played in that location. Nigeria's political terrain is unforgiven and it is not for the faint - hearted.

What is happening with our security network? It seems that that the entire system is compromised.

Lack of integrity in Nigeria's leadership always put them in awkward position to lecture on integrity, fairness and anti corruption. Not just Tinubu but previous presidents. Their actions and body languages are not consistent with what they preach to the masses. Buhari was busy preaching need for national cohesion, integrity and love for the country but all his actions were inconsistent with those preachings. Tinubu is here preaching about integrity among the judges but his public perception is not consistent with that preaching.

Politicians and coded murder!!! It seems that most of them have something to do with spilling of blood. Funny thing is that their wives are usually aware of their husband's involvement in spilling of blood for political gains but will rather chose to keep mute and enjoys the spoils of the political office.

But this lady should keep quiet. A jilted or an ex lover is usually extremely dangerous. Her statements are not good for her children's well-being. She should thread carefully. A dignified silence is always better than throwing online tantrums. Pa Ned has been advised to keep quiet and he hasn't issued any statement lately.
