Some people are enjoying in this country. After the campaign and the election, the buses and the SUVs would all disappear. Someone I know got a clean sienna campaign vehicle during Jonathan's time, under the TAN group, headed by the late Ifeanyi Ubah. If you find a way to join the core team of BAT or Atiku campaign train, you will definitely clean out. |
I hope they did not enter to drop arms to Boko fighters. I don't trust all these Sahel countries at all - Chad, Niger, Burkina Faso and Northern Cameroon |
Nwaikpe:It is all part of "academic positioning". The guy may have sponsored this write up sef. Most academics now are fond of hyping any research they are into just to see if they could get in more funding. They work hand- in -hand with some PR consultant to project their on-going research as the next thing that would happen to mankind after the slice bread. I contemplated doing same while in the UK in 2019 but the cost of projecting my research areas by the PR people was way above me. |
See how Ukraine caged the almighty Russia and made them to look ordinary and incapable of helping their allies. The West deliberately used the Ukrainian war to keep Russia busy. You hardly see or hear Russia getting involved in any other external matters except their current war with Ukraine. Russia would have issued a rebuke to US in this confrontation with one of their dependable allies, Venezuela, if not because of their current military campaign against Ukraine. |
These kidnapping is now being turned into an avenue to embarrass the government and make money. This has become a money-making business for some people. I am sure the kidnappers still allowed one or two girls to "escape" so that it would be seen as a kidnapping. They are sure of receiving ransom. I hope families are not complicit in this type of kidnapping? |
"IMPRESSIVE" indeed ![]() A nation that is ravaged by poverty will never be short of sub-humans, that will occupy space in any political rally, in anticipation of crumbs that may come out of the event. |
It seems these attacks have ulterior motives. The frequency and targets makes one to be suspicious. Their targets have been schools and churches, lately |
Celebrityblog:......and 85 in 2031 ![]() |
The target na the pastors. They are just bringing in Imams into the equation to balance the mix. Which alfa or imam you go tax make him followers no do you strong things? It would be easier to hold the pastors to account but you see Imams, nothing go happen. Moslems would defend the Imams while the Christians will tell the pastors to go and pay their taxes. |
I think all these kidnappers deliberately do allow one or two people to escape, to go and tell the story. The kidnapping incident follows the same type of plot: 25 kidnapped and 3 escaped; 13 kidnapped and 1 escaped; 15 kidnapped and 2 escaped. All these escapes were deliberately hatched and planned. Escaping from the kidnappers is part of the plot. Kidnapping is a full blown business in Nigeria. |
Theirs should be "Dr.H", before their names, for people with honorary degree, just to distinguish it from the regular medical doctors and doctorate degree holders |
Religion has finished this country. This why pastors and imams are cashing out on the gullible. Everything has spiritual connotation in this country. Everything is attributed to spiritual forces. You wonder why spiritual prayer ministries are thriving in this country, destroying homes and families |
One of the parties, most likely, the plaintiff, has used an unverifiable news outlet to write this "fiction" to suit its narrative and arm-twist the bank. Plaintiffs always using all sorts of tactics to bully a defendant, especially, if the defendant is a financial institution. Let the main news outlet carry such news and let CBN come out and confirm the judgement debt since they will be the one to transfer the humongous amount. |
Religion is the opium of the masses ![]() He knew that invoking religion into this issue would endear him to the masses as someone who "fear" Allah. Northern politicians knows how to use religion on their people |
Most people may not like this statement: The action of the January 1966 boys destroyed this country for good. ![]() The first republic politicians should have been left alone by the military to continue with their so called corruption and face their military activities. Their intrusion into politics have destroyed this country. The first republic politicians, despite the corruption, were making progress as the regions were developing at their own respective paces. |
Nawao, MBS in the white house after being fingered in the state sponsored brutal murder of the Saudi journalist in Turkey. ![]() |
Sam Daddy is with the secretariat keys ![]() Seyi and Bala went there to disgrace themselves. It is not by gra gra. It is by process Lawyers will always tell you that you don't enforce law by presence but by process |
Obi and Obedients should know that Atiku is the main opposition leader. Without taking anything away from Obi, it would be extremely difficult for him to galvanize people again to face PBAT. He has lost considerable level of momentum. I doubt if he could do anything on his own. 2023 presented the best of chances for him, if he had paired with Atiku. I trust Atiku to make way for him after his 4 or 8 years tenure. In Nigeria, you have to crawl, politically, before making claim to the presidency. Atiku would have been the best route for Obi to get to the presidency. Emotions and sentiments do not win anything. You play the game the way it is played in that location. Nigeria's political terrain is unforgiven and it is not for the faint - hearted. |
What is happening with our security network? It seems that that the entire system is compromised. How could a detachment of security personnel posted to guard a sensitive place, quietly abandoned the place when their presence was needed and allowed the people they were supposed to engage in fierce battle to operate for hours without any reaction? Who was the commander assigned to the place? He should be detained and questioned. Was his disengagement from the place done to allow the bandits to operate unhindered and be "rewarded" later on? Nigerians needs answers, please. |
Lack of integrity in Nigeria's leadership always put them in awkward position to lecture on integrity, fairness and anti corruption. Not just Tinubu but previous presidents. Their actions and body languages are not consistent with what they preach to the masses. Buhari was busy preaching need for national cohesion, integrity and love for the country but all his actions were inconsistent with those preachings. Tinubu is here preaching about integrity among the judges but his public perception is not consistent with that preaching. |
Politicians and coded murder!!! It seems that most of them have something to do with spilling of blood. Funny thing is that their wives are usually aware of their husband's involvement in spilling of blood for political gains but will rather chose to keep mute and enjoys the spoils of the political office. But this lady should keep quiet. A jilted or an ex lover is usually extremely dangerous. Her statements are not good for her children's well-being. She should thread carefully. A dignified silence is always better than throwing online tantrums. Pa Ned has been advised to keep quiet and he hasn't issued any statement lately. |
I feel sorry for his wife and children. The shame no go be for here. |
PenpalOso:You have to read in-between lines. BBC was merely quoting an unamed source. You could see that the statement that had the gun battle or duel description was in quote, indicating that it wasn't their statement, but a statement probably from the Nigerian police force. That statement is a typical way Nigerian police force describes certain of its actions against criminal elements. |
No sub saharan African country would progress to the second round. Imagine a world cup without Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon not representing Africa ![]() |
See finishing. The hate is real. ![]() |
The Udinese goal keeper, Maduka, should replace this UFC fighter of Nwabali, if SE goes through. Even Remo stars keeper is far better than Nwabali |
Nigerian government that doesn't respect unfavourable courts judgement is the one you want to drag for refund of money expended in settling kidnappers ![]() |
Please, if you are not ready to foot the family responsibilities, 100%, don't bother getting married. It is better you establish full control as a man and take full responsibility of raising your family, including bearing all the associated costs. Ignore whatever your wife or the would-be wife is earning and concentrate towards building your home. Your wife would see your hardwork, dedication and commitment to the well-being of the family. As your wife sees your efforts, you won't even need to ask her for any contribution before she starts, willingly doing lots without you asking for it or imposing the expenses on her. You are there as the provider, protector and defender of your "territory ". As time progresses, willingly, without compulsion, your wife would start taking care of certain bills. Just pray that you continue to do well and make progress in your career and trade so that you continue to discharge your obligations to your wife and children. Your wife would always be moved to support you and this would earn you more respect and your dignity, intact. |
Most nigerians join the US army because of the perceived benefits that comes from being a " veteran". Once you are a veteran, even if you served for just one year, there are lots of benefits. |
PDP are just misbehaving. The court would deal with them, ruthless. Why didn't they invite INEC to witness the convention? No aspirant would want to emerge from the primaries conducted by the new EXCO as their primaries would be invalidated by the court as being illegal and conducted by an illegal EXCO. Anybody with political aspirations under the PDP would likely trade with caution and align with the EXCO that has INEC recognition. |
Most of them used customer's money to do MMM that time. Though, they returned back the principal after cleaning out from the gains generated from the ponzi scheme. |
The man was right in what he said. I don't know why Nigerians in US and Canada, especially, celebrates acquisition of citizenship, with great spectacle and funfair. The inferiority complex of some Nigerians abroad could be nauseating. Most times, they do it thinking that they are "peppering " folks back home with their new status. |
