In as much as the strike is welcomed, this is going to even deepen the conflict. If that driver is a family man, I feel sorry for his family because the man is going to stay in prison for minimum of six months. His motor is gone for good. Onitsha would have been a lively city, like some of the Asian and middle eastern cities, with its peculiar high rising residential buildings. I am surprised at how some people are bashing the NFF. Kudos to them for unearthing this "infringement " on FIFA rules. They can't use the road again. They are all building airports in their respective states, even if it is viable or not.

Ekiti Airport and Ebonyi Airport would be competing for an Airport with the lowest passenger traffic. The airport is just there to service politicians and high networth individuals.

It is even good for him - represent FG in some high-ticket transaction and cash out big time without any fear as a public servant.

Nigeria is a "contract haven" and anyone with strong ties to the power would always cash out on some humongous and inflated payments on contracts and services.
