Penguin2:Bro, don't "chest-beat" at all about the Catholic Church. I am a staunch Catholic. Note that the Catholic Church is not immuned from the "onslaught" the mother Church is undergoing in the West. The late Pope John Paul 11, said it that, "the hopes of the church is in Africa". He foresaw the dilution of Christian doctrine in the west and the possibility of decline of the church in the west. There are lots of reformists within the hierarchy of the Catholic Church and these reformists could pull a surprise on the church with their reformists agenda. So, let's continue to pray for the mother church so that the gate of hell shall not prevail against her. As societies evolves, rules also evolve. It may be a question of when and not if the Catholic Church would eventually reform itself. |
The former FCT Minister under Buhari, Muhammad Bello should be ashamed of himself. The worst FCT Minister in the history of Nigeria. The fact that Buhari left him in the office for complete 8 year was even more baffling. That man should point one thing he did in FCT. Incompetence was ingrained in him and Buhari didn't even bother. Until now, people never knew that an FCT Minister could be this active and effective. Give it to Wike, abeg. His footprints are everywhere in Port Harcourt. |
People are not seeing the bigger picture If Jonathan is coming, he is coming at the behest of APC to destabilize the ADC Bayo and APC knows what they are doing. They may be working hand- in- hand with Jonathan APC needs a strong PDP to checkmate the ADC |
They should permanently fix that road - this is one of the busiest in the country and it is in deplorable condition. People would travel through that road to the East, as Christmas approaches - Umahi and his team should ensure that all the bad spots are fixed. |
Racoon:Some of them might have turned out to be leaders in their respective fields. Leadership is not just about political Leadership. People have turned out to be leaders in the corporate world, entrepreneurship, public service and other human endeavours |
The ones at Idi-araba, close to LUTH have association and ID card. I have seen it multiple times on that road and the beggars proudly displays their ID cards on their necks. The ID card I saw showed the person's name, state of origin, ID card number, zone and the ailments the person is suffering from. |
Imma624:Just three weeks?? Some are already on their second year and no show. I feel sorry for any recent graduate in Nigeria. This is the worst time to be unemployed and looking for job in Nigeria. The job market outlook is very depressing. Notwithstanding, keep pushing.! Good luck! |
Unemployment This is very devastating if you don't have any social support or any support system and responsibilities are staring you in the face. ![]() |
This house is normal of a typical upcoming guy's house in Nigeria. What I am seeing there doesn't ooze luxury at all. This is the barest minimum standard. OP doesn't know what luxury is or he is just being sensational. |
Where was Reno when Sowere was giving Wike fire throughout last week? I expected Reno to attack Sowere in defense of Wike but the guy was no where to be found. ![]() |
The Taliban should change course and follow the dictates of the West. Trust me, the regime would be recognised and invited to address the UN general assembly. But if following the dictates of the West would guarantee your prosperity, why not follow? The defeated Japan and Germany in the WWII followed the dictates of the victorious Western powers and are better for it. |
I did not even understand the whole relationship of the parties involved - English is not my major ![]() |
See how everyone above wished if this could happen in Nigeria. It happened in Nigeria, even before Malawi in 2015. But how far after it happened? Did we fare better?Don't wish BAT badluck, it would definitely affect everyone. Take a look at the person with the closest chance of unseating BAT, can he turn around the fortunes of Nigeria? The person with that chance is Atiku o and not Obi. |
Kudos to the airline - Dont pray to have a health emergency in Nigeria. You may be in an environment where the people are clueless on what to do but would rather bring out their phones and start snapping. CPR is a very important healthcare training that people should acquire as you don't know when it would be needed. If you have an aged parents around, please learn how to perform CPR. Administering CPR could be the difference between death and life for someone in critical health condition, especially with breathing problems |
No wonder my town's guy, who is big on spare parts at Ladipo, opened another spare parts at Ikate axis, Lekki. The dude has seen "potential" along that axis. He earlier told me that many mechanics and car owners comes to his shop at Ladipo to pick up parts. He has now decided to bring his shop closer to that population. He deals on high-end spare parts for luxury cars. |
She would be accepted more as a Lagosian by Lagosians than some Nigerians from other states. This is how some Nigerians are wired about white people or people of color. In Kano, Lebanese, Syrians and Pakistanis are more respected and valued than some Nigerians that are not indigene of Kano |
SeverusSnape:I am surprised that Reno hasn't said anything since this Sowere's onslaught on Wike started. Reno that always defend any prominent member of the ruling party. I guess Reno is afraid of Sowo. He wouldn't want to go to "battle" or have any confrontation with Sowo. |
So, Amaechi didn't invite Wike, the landlord where the wedding took place? ![]() |
He would rise through the ranks to become a general in the Nigerian army. An average Northerner see the army and other public service establishment in the same way an average southerner see the oil companies as the choice places to work |
Do the Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) detects when an unauthorised foreign fighter jets or plane enters Nigeria's Airspace? If a foreign fighter jets flies over the Nigeria's Airspace and returns to base, do we have the capacity to detect such an aircraft and its source origin? I always marvel at how countries detect the presence of a foreign fighter jets over their Airspace and report such. Is it what radar does or is there a special system in place to detect such? |
She may be the daughter of Paul Biya's side chic, whose mother has fallen out of favour with the president |
Bleiz:WRONG!!! Tiger is "Odum" Lion is "Agu" That's the meaning for each. But some refers to lion as "Odum" and leopard as "Agu". |
TheBizGenius:You are intelligent!!! I take environment seriously. My house is a small house but the compound is full of nature - flowers and plants. |
See the front of the school sef. ![]() Nigeria and Nigerians do not know that environment is everything. People tends to behave in a way and manner their immediate physical environments looks like. This is the reason why those in ghettos, dirty and squalid environments behaves untrained. |
Nigerian students would still mess up the place. Many Nigerians have the "I don care" attitude once they make use of public facilities. Some would poopoo in the toilet and use their dirty hands to stain the walls. |
It is going to be a watered-down version that they are going to teach them. There are whole lots of divergent views on some important part of the history that may not be taught because of the divergent views held by different people regarding that particular issue in the history of Nigeria |
3 years from now, you won't even hear anything about this project again. It would die a natural death. I fear Nigerian politicians and their supporters. See how the so called investors and the special assistant were looking. Don't take Nigerian politicians serious. |
When you travel outside Nigeria, you will begin to understand how corruption has under developed the country in all segments of Nigeria. Our standards in this country are terribly low. Sadly, those standards are being celebrated regularly by corrupt politicians and their supporters. Make no mistake about this: our national infrastructure is nothing to write home about compared to our contemporaries around the world. I have been to Europe, Canada, US and Southern Africa, Southern Africa countries are miles ahead of other parts of Africa in terms of infrastructural development |
The acceptance rate is even encouraging. People on asylum in Canada seems to enjoy more privileges than the real hustlers, waiting for PR. |
I don't know why it is difficult for ladies, especially young girls to walk out from abusive relationships. Is it that they fear that they me be unable to get another man or that their friends would make mockery of them, making some if them to stay put? This is very common among young girls from poor backgrounds. The fear of losing the little materials benefits in the relationship always makes them to stay put, even when their supposedly boyfriend is a monster. |
Soludo for meet him match in Ifeanyi Ubah. He is lucky that the man kpai. If Ubah was alive and of course, the potential flag bearer of APC, it would have been difficult for Soludo. Ubah for drag Soludo well well. |
