bukatyne: folake4u has already shared samples of EVOO.
I find it light, firming, makes the skin supple and non-darkening. That's why I prescribed EVOO and not just Olive Oil.
But again, skincare is a personal journey. For instance, upon all the rave of coconut oil for hair and skin, it has never worked for me until I discovered about ten years ago that EVOO is actually what works for my system (hair, skin, cooking etc.)
Goodluck finding out what works for you. Yes, I second the motion that skincare is a personal journey. I agree with you on the coconut oil rave. I used to produce my own coconut oil in the past for business purposes. For my personal use, coconut oil wasn't working for me. It made me three shades darker, it wasn't good for my hair too. My hair rejected it. It only made it shine but never soft. It was perfect for my Mum! I was so pained but yeah, I figured out it wasn't meant for me. These oils are perfect for my cooking, but not my skin. |

doggedfighter: Looks like it will be a little too thick. At the moment I don't want anything that clogs and darkens..
May have to stick the Simple products I got and Nivea. Thanks Folake4u. You're welcome. Remember that in skincare business, it is a personal journey; what works for one might not work for another. |

doggedfighter: Thanks for this,Bukatyne. Where can one get this ? This is it though but I usually don't recommend using this type of oil for skin. It usually clogs one's pores and make you darker. (My experience when I started skincare journey years ago). But if you want to try it, you can go ahead actually. What didn't work for me might work for you.

I'd choose akara. I don't like pap. Last time I ate that was when I was a baby. Either I eat the akara alone or with bread as akara burger. |

OneCandleAway: Whoever is hosting them is just using them for publicity. When they are done they'll discard them like used tissue. Spot on! They're using them for entertainment purpose, soon they'd be forgotten into oblivion. That's how they made that Mr. Spelling guy popular, gave him publicity, and later he was discarded. |

She is religious and I am sure she is still a virgin Lol. I'm sure this is your major reason or concern. Anyways, don't bite what you can't chew. If you know that rendering assistance is going to be a problem, it's better you back out now and leave the poor family alone. Nothing is more irritating than this "I picked you and your family out of the slums" line. Avoid situations that'd lead to despising your prospective in-laws. |

pocohantas: Children are still struggling. It is hard out there. This is not a condition average kids with 60k jobs can carry. Most times they see their parenta death coming in a few years.
Make Naija men sha commot hand from excessive alcohol. It is most times the men with these illnesses, women na athritis. That's true actually. I read a thread earlier of someone earning 12k and my heart was bleeding for the person. That's just slavery. Lol yes. Excess alcohol contributes largely to all these illnesses. May God airpus. |

What do you guys think? Rwanda is expensive, I hope you know that? Be ready to abide by Paul Kagame's rules as well. |

TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by folake4u: 8:54pm On Nov 03, 2023 |
GloriousGbola: I was already working as an engineer. We had taken a psychometric test as part of my employers interview process and it had more or less fairly accurately described my traits and quirks. So I decided to take a more full fledged one. I am trying very hard to remember exactly what it said
It is if i had been in obodo oyibo I would have considered law enforcement as a career. Who knows I may have drifted into it.
Even as it is I had a reputation for being too straight when I was employed. To my detriment. Now imagine me in a police setting Oh I see. Well, I'm sure you'd excel well if you had pursued that career path overseas. To be a good law enforcement official in this country takes a lot of courage, zeal, discipline with a sprinkle of fear of God. |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by folake4u: 8:38pm On Nov 03, 2023 |
GloriousGbola: One psychometric test I took years ago said I should be in law enforcement based on my values Hmm. So why didn't you choose that path? |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by folake4u: 8:28pm On Nov 03, 2023 |
joseph1832: I'm sure you'll love it.
LOL. All in all, you should have studied criminology, instead of law. I'm sure you'd have gotten almost exactly what you wanted. Everybody keeps saying I'd enjoy GOT. I guess I'm just lazy to watch it. Hahaha. Maybe, maybe not. Probably in my next life, I'd be a forensic investigator, a psychologist working with high profiled criminals, murderers or a criminologist, or an ordinary olopa. |
