Hallo Pals: I lost my Nokia Lumia and as such I want to buy another phone.......... preferably Gionee; Tecno or Infinix. I don't really know about Itel n Lenovo, whether they are good and their parts are readily found in Nigeria.

I need a smartphone that has a good battery life; sharp camera quality; fast charging; good design; gr8 internet experience; strong and durable etc.

Kindly suggest any smartphone that I can get with the price range N18,000 - N23,000. Tnx.
I don't know about phones that much, but for that price range, I won't think of tecno
RomanceRe: Do Modern Day Nigerian Ladies Prefer This Wooing Method? by folks4luv(f): 3:16pm On Jul 21, 2016
groomed:
In some quarters, guys will say you do not woo a girl in this current time.

And certainly, events have shown that this true.

I was busy professing love, speaking how much I want this girl and want her to be mine BUT all I get was rejection, or indifference.

After while I switch to flirting mode and all seem well with her.

Another girl whom I kinda have a respect for have been acting same way as well. She wouldn't want to admit outrightly or accept when the question is ask. She would prefer I do not even ask her to date me but to just flow along.

Mind you, if I choose this route, I can easily bolt out--after all, "we were not dating" or "I never asked you out"

Compared to case whereby the relationship is defined from the onset.

So I ask: Do modern day Nigerian lady prefer not to wooed? Do they prefer undefined relationship to a defined one, a case that seem like flirting?
i will say yes and no. it is not only guys that have phobia for commitment too, girls too have it. a girl that is serious and wants u will not want to flow and assume, she will prefer d relationship to be defined so that she can mark her territory. but a girl who doesn't want you per say but maybe wants something you have to offer wont want the relationship to be defined, she is at d door, she can go on or out without feeling guilty, plus she is free to see other guys too.
It now depend on you to chose what you want, wooing works, maybe you are yet to meet the right girl.

If you are running Propellerads on your blog or site and you are wondering why other bloggers earn more while you can't even reach $1 per day. Today i decide to tell how i earn more than $5 per day from Propellerads.

When i started using this ads network in my blog, i start using banner ads and pop under only, then after a couple of week a notice that my earning is very low, i can't even reach $0.5 daily so i remove both the banner ads and pop under ads so that i can test them one by one to see which one will increase my earning, unfortunately none of them works.

After checking my google analytics i notice that 75% of my blog traffics are mobile viewers, so to earn more with propellerads i have to target mobile viewers, so i have to look for mobile ads.

Here is what i did and you should do

Go to my Propeller dashboard and navigate to site to create new ads channel
https://dropbox.com/s/90ue2wcwpf340e6/ad.jpg?dl=0
Then i click on Add New Channel

Then i scroll to Mobile Advertising and i select Dialog Ads/Push Up
https://dropbox.com/s/fhjrozgw7xz0wul/ad1.jpg?dl=0
Then click Next to create the ads code and place it in your blog or site.

Finally Propellerads recently introduced a direct ad which gives you a direct link you can send traffic to either from Facebook, Twitter from any so far it's not Bot
https://dropbox.com/s/56uckitnf3yeiy6/Screenshot_2016-07-16-20-18-37.png

You can also join Propellerads herehttp://www.propellerads.com/?rfd=kv7
I registered with propeller ad last weekend but couldn't wrap my head around how to make it work on my site, especially the site verification part, can you pls explain how it works?

Christianity EtcRe: Is It Morally Right For A Pastor To Use A Phone To Read Out Bible? by folks4luv(f): 4:23pm On Jul 10, 2016
refiner:
Good morning and merry Sunday friends...smiley

I don't seem to get a satisfactory answer to these...and I think here might be in a better position to give me the answers I crave for...

in my church,*name undisclosed*the pastor uses a phone to read bible....but I wish to ask if it's morally right for a pastor to use a phone to read bible while preaching...

it maybe ignored if it was being used by a member, but we are talking about a pastor here, who stands by the pulpit to preach the word of God...but instead of the bible,he uses a phone...
I'll say it depends on the congregation, their level of exposure. in a local congregation, it may look wrong, people will just be looking at him like 'which kind pastor be this?' to them, its a big deal, but some congregation won't even notice a iPad, tablet or phone In the hand of the pastor, that's what Apostle Paul was talking about when he said 'if eating meat will make m brother sin, I will rather not eat meat.

Good.

/> is a closing tag.
< is an opening tag.
> i'll call this tag "suspension tag"

For better understanding i'll give examples.
<TextView ....... this means you've started writing codes for textview.

When you open a fridge to take water, you should close it when done abi no be so? That's what /> does. It means you've finished writing the code for TextView.

> is used on a Parent to close and accomodate its children. A viewgroup is a parent, while view objects are its children. Example...

<LinearLayout ...... i'm done writing the codes inside here. Close me>
Add children here.
</LinearLayout>

LETS CONTINUE.... Android - User Interface (UI) Controls

A View is an object that draws something on the screen that the user can interact with and a ViewGroup is an object that holds other View (and ViewGroup) objects in order to define the layout of the user interface. You define your layout in an XML file which offers a human-readable structure for the layout

In the main.xml file that was created on aide, ViewGroup is:
<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="fill_parent"
android:orientation="vertical" >
</LinearLayout>

LinearLayout is a view group that aligns all children (view objects eg TextView) in a single direction, vertically or horizontally.

While VIEW object is:
<TextView android:id="@+id/text"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:text="I am a TextView" />

TextView is for showing text.

****************************************

There are a number of UI controls (View objects) provided by Android that allow you to build the graphical user interface for your app.
We have TextView, EditText, Button, ImageView etc.

In this tutorial, we'll be working with TextView & Button.

***************************************

TextView
This control is used to display text to the user.

Button
A button can be pressed, or clicked, to perform an action.

******************

A view object may have a unique ID assigned to it which will identify the View object uniquely within the View Group.
The syntax for an ID, inside an XML tag is − android:id="@+id/text_id". (Bolded in TextView code above)

LETS GET TO WORK...
In this tutorial, we'll buid a simple a app that shows a Text and a Button. When the button is clicked, a toast message would show on the screen.

EDIT MAIN.XML.... ADD BUTTON
By defult, there's a TextView already, simply add betton code uder... like this...

<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:gravity="center">

<TextView
android:text="@string/hello_world"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content" />

<Button
android:id="@+id/click_button"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:text="Click Me" />

</LinearLayout>

Check image below to see how your main.xml file should look now....

Let's add a background color...
Add this android:background="#ffffff" code to in <LinearLayout........

Also lets add color to our text....

Add this android:textColor="#ff0000" code to in <TextView........

Click menu and select Run.
Install app.

App background should be white. Text should be red and a button should be visible now.

Let me know if you got it right, so i'll continue.
dunno what I am doing wrong, see my main XML.
color thing not working.

couldn't add image yet. but on the main XML, the codes didn't change to red color after inputting = sign.

I don't see where the President referenced anything about the worthless, disgraced, corrupt and incompetent PDP lately. The writer said the president gives an impression that the PDP achieved absolutely nothing in their 16-year rule and In fact, he sometimes infers that PDP destroyed Nigeria and he cannot perform a miracle in one year to rebuild the country, I just wonder why the same writer failed to articulate exactly what the PDP achieved in 16 years.

1. Is it stable electricity after stealing $20 billion power funds that left us in darkness?

2. Is it the wonderful roads, bridges, quality schools, good hospitals and so on they left behind?

3. Is it the wonderful refineries they destroyed and when they even refused to build new ones to prevent fuel scarcity?

4. Is it how they refused to invest the largest stream of revenue in the history of Nigeria to ease the eventual pains of low fuel prices that was bound to manifest eventually like we are experiencing today?

5. Is it using our money to or how they turned our public institutions like the NNPC into election financiers?

6. Is it how they looted and hared our money, bought mansions jets, cars and so on.

7. Are not even waking up daily to sad news about how they looted this and that?

The writer would love for us to forget that the PDP did not rule for 16 years and the horrible mess they left behind should not be part of our memory of history and we are in this situation by accident.

Unfortunately for the goofy writer, we know exactly how we got here and we won't forget or stop letting Nigerians know the evil mess they left behind.

APC only prepared for election, nothing more.
