Now read the first paragraph of your own comment and tell me how articulate it is. I bet you didnt see your own error before clicking submit button. DissTroy: It isn't perfection. Writing and speaking articulately isn't demand perfect - it's normal.
I won't even date a girl who doesn't write or speak articulately. I won't even tolerate that shorthand writing they use.
Why have the standards descended so low?
Even if you didn't go to a tertiary institution, you should be able to speak and write articulately at least.
If you went to a university, there's no excuse not to. |

I'm sure other applicant's essay weren't perfect, I'm also sure your boss doesn't speak and write perfect grammar too but he is one of those that get mad with the 'am for i am' mistakes'. What he did there was play the god role, even worse. He dismissed a prospect cause of a mistake anyone could made (i said anyone cause most people that make this mistake know the diff, writing under pressure or absent mindedly can make them happen).
I really wanna pray that someone superior to him will also use his mistake to deny him something he deserves but I'll rather pray that God have mercy on him. Grant him the grace to accommodate other people's errors and weaknesses, even annoying ones. |

Just calm down and learn from a professional, what he said is right. Some drugs are expensive cause of the brand and former patent pharmaceutical companies had on the drugs in the past, which has given them a sort of brand advantage. For example, Beecham. In your case, it's possible you bought the type of drug the malaria was resistant to or you even bought a fake (there are many fake antimalarial drugs and antibiotics out there), the pharmacist then gave you another generic type and you were ok. P. Alaxin and Lonart are diff compositions. Same with antibiotics. Mercychen: Op, that your number 4 is not a myth. It's very true The more expensive a drug is the more effective it will be. I'm talking from personal experience. It happened to me on two occasions.
One was during the lock down. I was down with malaria and typhoid. Then a chemist recommended lonart because I told him I was on a low budget. After taking it, no single relief. Same thing with the cheap typhoid drugs I took.
I then went to a big pharmacy and the pharmacist told me to go for the expensive drugs ( co Ciprotab and pialaxin) that I should stop *pinching" money. Lo and behold before I finished the course, I was Hale and hearty.
Recently same thing happened. I bought 800 malaria drugs. Nothing. I now went back and bought pialaxin, immediately after the first dose, I felt instant relief. So brand matters. All these smaller brands don't really work.
You want to compare becham Amoxil with other brands of Amoxil? This one is a fact. |

Let me tell you the truth, most people on this platform wont understand what you are going through. At a point in my life, i stopped complaining or seeking for advice cause they cant get it. I live in Lagos, alone, low income earner. Most times, before salary comes, like half is gone. I got advice like, cut your expenses. I was like, wetin i wan cut? I couldnt buy new clothes, i dont go out except work but u was always broke. One day, i calculated my income per day, then i calculated my tfare, rent, power bill per day(minus food). I was sad at the result i got. No wonder i was always broke cause as much as i was trying to be frugal, i was always broke. God then helped me to get a lil thing to do on the side and then things got better for me.
Point of my story, get another source of income. Prolly, one that wont require a capital. You will cont to be like one beating the air if you continue to depend on your meagre salary |

To forcefully evict a tenant without a court order is wrong on its own, to now break in to someone else's apartment in his absence is a bigger crime. It's ok to feel emotional and all, 8 months rent? Get a lawyer, sue the landlord or at least, negotiate the release of your properties he took. |

Staying in an emotionally draining relationship is also traumatic. The ideal thing is to count the cost and choose the best trauma. Raising kids amidst bitterness, fights and anger is pretty harmful to the kids, bitter people raise broken kids. You were in a "serious" relationship with her and you just decided to break up one night cause you lost interest? Do you know what a serious relationship is? Anyways, be straight with her, dont be diplomatic. Tell her you have moved on and you dont want any friendship between you two. If she respects herself, she should let you be Cashsteady: I dated this girl for Like 7 months.. We were actually into a serious relationship untill one night I just decided to break up cuz I just lost interest...
At first when I told her she was really pissed, blocked me on Whatsapp and added my number to blacklist. I really didn't care about it because I was no longer interested in her...
Then suddenly Like 2 days later she unblocked me on Whatsapp and said "Hi". I read it and ignored it then after sometime she called my phone, I picked up and she started telling me shit like "so because we broke up that I couldn't even call her". I told her a fake sorry and also told her I will be calling her after some little talk we ended the call.
Two days after I didn't call her, she called again and said the same shit and I keep telling her the same thing without Calling..ever since then she's being calling me always tryin to get my attention. From what I heard she's in a new relationship with another guy but she won't stop calling me .. Just sick and tired of her but don't wanna block her it's really annoying and don't wanna tell her to stop calling me because it might break her heart more..

That's a solution, or say a part of the solution. The problem is bigger than we are seeing and i strongly believe corruption is a big factor. Nigeria is spending lesser forex on food importation but forex is still scarce, more scarce than pre-2015 when we import maize, wheat, milk and others onegig: Meet the forex demands of a country of 200million people? Where even the most basic things are imported? That's impossible. Why is it this bad when it should be getting better? CBN knows the solution but they seem to be handicapped. They'll rather chase shadows instead
More like Nigerians should look inward and do more of import substitution with locally available items. |
Business › Re: AbokiFX: Emefiele To Oniwinde Adedotun “Come Let's Fight” (Video) by folks4luv(f): 7:33am On Sep 18, 2021 |
But they can't fix anything by deciding or fixing prices. The solution to kill the black market is for them to meet demands, at least 80-90% of it. But then, the forex they have are spent on importing fuel and others on corruption, little left to meet other legitimate needs. alexvic12: Then this is a welcome step to solve the problem that they "created", right? |
Business › Re: AbokiFX: Emefiele To Oniwinde Adedotun “Come Let's Fight” (Video) by folks4luv(f): 10:53pm On Sep 17, 2021 |
Imagine you build a hospital, equip and staff it but the government is telling you the amount you are charging for your surgery is too high. Does that make sense to you? If the govt wants to force you to reduce price or kick you out of business it only needs to set up well equipped hospitals and then encourage people to go there for treatment. Same thing here. The CBN knows what to do but will rather use force. CBN can effectively decide price if it can meet the demand of dollars. How do you think anyone can decide the price of a commodity they don't have? CBN created BDC alexvic12: The truth is that BDCs are partially responsible for the free naira fall.
People go to these websites and get quotes for FX (remember that anybody can just write a figure on their website and others will copy it).
How can the dollar to naira increase by over N50 within a week and we say people are not manipulating the figures?
Nigerians are just after quick gains!
Go to Binance P2P, those guys keep updating new prices every day.
Where do they get their quotes from? Is there a particular official channel that announces the quotes for the day?
If yes, why are they not following the official CBN rates?
Let's be honest!
CBN set a rate, BDCs increased it. Nigerians go along with it and turn around to insult the CBN for the free naira fall.
Tell your relatives, friends, and colleagues who are into BDC to stop increasing the rate anyhow.
Let's stick to the official rates.
P.S: Before you jump to insult me, have you wondered why these BDCs (and P2P) buy high and sell low?
For example, someone buys dollars at N480 and sells to someone else at N500.
Where is the conscience? Dead!
Stick to the official rates! |
Business › Re: CBN Shuts Down AbokiFX Bank Accounts by folks4luv(f): 12:08am On Sep 17, 2021 |
When you have Naira in your account and you instruct your bank to pay in dollars, will your bank move your Naira into the account of your supplier or it dollar equivalent? Now, say you need 200k dollars to import materials, you have the naira equivalent in your account but your bank can only release 50k dollars at the moment. What happens to you? You need to wait till your bank can release more dollars to be sent to your suppliers. Now tell me the business man that will not find a way to bypass the bank and source for dollars himself. Thing is, Nigeria importing fuel consumes a lot of available dollars and fuel happens to be a priority. That means other businesses need to sort themselves out or wait forever for the bank to handle their bill. No one wants to go source for dollars, the current crisis doesn't favour manufacturers and the consumers but they dont have a choice. TimeSpaceWizard: You are not crazy, you are silly.
The parallel FX system in Nigeria has birthed too many complexities and all you do is restore the default system as all other countries do.
Do you need to buy dollars and put in your dorm acct before exporting, Only in Nigeria. But that's total bullshit.
When you close all dorm accts and allow naira to be converted at CBN rates via different trade instruments it will be exactly how other countries trade.
For now, you must continue to lament. |

That's the consequence of her decision and she will face more consequences. What i hate hearing is making it look like 2baba is the victim in all these. Whatever he is also going through is his own freaking karma. Imagine Sumbo, his other baby mama is not married, the mess would have been more. Ann started dating 2face when she was a teenager, way way before stardom, she had enough opportunities to realize 2face cant give her peace of mind anonymous1759: Cheating was no issue then. Women prefer their husbands to cheat than marrying a second wife. I don’t have anything against the single mother’s. If your husband is maltreating you leave and fend for yourself. If you’re too big to be under any man stay alone or remain in your fathers house period . You can’t use Marriage as a weapon to trap men or make life misrable for them. 2 face have 2 baby mamas he didn’t hide it . She should be the one ready to accept the bull shiit that comes along in marrying a polygamous man . Why didn’t she leave him to marry a single man without kids? So you think there was a time cheating was considered a good thing? The different between the women now and then is voice and light. Mothers back then believed they must sacrifice their lives on the alter of sadness to sustain their marriage. Their husbands will beat them up and they'd see it as their destiny, sucj evil. 2face's live and marriage are all over the place cause of his past choices and mistakes. 7kids from different women but married to one. Of course, his life cant be normal again cause there are consequences to these things anonymous1759: I said “ BAD” because that’s how we see it in this generation. Things the PAPAs did In the olden days are seen as Evil Or BAD by new generational mothers. Eg . Cheating , polygamy, restricting their wives from certain things, and having Total control over them.
In this generation Men tend to share some certain rights with their wives, shower them with love. Work day plus Night to fend for the family. Our new Generational men are more hard working. Fathers then just marry have plenty kids . They work less leaving the wives and their children to do all the major works and still have dominance .
So what do think it’s wrong with most generational women Lately ? Too much power or freedom? They want Equal rights but Don’t bring Equal Task to the Table.
That’s Why i recommend Men to go back to Olden days. To treat women like their father did maybe that will reset their heads.
Am not Against Feminism I stand for Equity . If you can marry multiple men as a woman and fend for them it’s your business.
Imagine if all these things said about Annie Is true I’m 99.9% sure most women can’t tolerate men they Feed . You’re a woman and you know how your fellow women treat men they’re feeding.
But a man will be feeding , clothing , financing a woman and that same Woman will Have the guts to treat her husband and is family badly because she’s married to him. That’s Arrant nonsense. |
