To them, every application is new and not renewal. It takes the same number of days every other applicants have, minimum of 15 working days

last April wasn't a rush period. Check different airlines and compare the prices. Are you checking a return flight or one way?

What about those that submitted payslips and still got denied? It's you that you need to check your intention. If you are honest in your application, there is no need casting doubt on your application yourself. You have opportunity to explain the source of your fund. Check their website, you can apply for the same category of visa you are looking invitation for as a visitor.you want to go on tourism if thats your intention.

If you can patiently check this thread from page 300, you will see a sample. It's just to give additional info that you feel you didnt get chance to do in your application forms. It's optional if you feel you dont have any extra information.

If they need to run a check on you at the POE; the paper will explain why you are being 'held' for some time.

Uk is not running. Don't be desperate about it. Living illegally in the UK has many disadvantages. You can actually apply on your own without using the person you've not met. That you have a visa does not mean you will be allowed in. State the source of your income and give explanation of taxes and slips in your cover letter. Be sincere with your application. If don't get it now you get it later. but dont spoil your future application when you will genuine reason to travel.

Instead of using family as stated in my I-20, can I now use my personal statement of account printed in May and the funding guarantee letter I received from my school?

NB: I don't want to present family fund anymore, want to go with my funding letter and my personal statement that will cover for one year.

Print the current statement and be ready to defend why your family wont sponsor you again in case you are asked.

Collected passport with visa on the 24th July

Visa was stamped on the 17/07/18

Over joy re o; you did biometric ahead of time and you got the visa before biometric date

I did...I traveled and spent 3 months in the uk, after which i was advised by an agent to backdate my arrival for future application purpose. I then followed this advice and paid him to do that.
Fast-forward to when i re-applied, i was refused based on the fact that a wrong stamp was found in my passport and it was seized.

i accept that i have done worng and its been years...i have even renewed my passport and am just asking if anyone has recently been able to pass this stage successfully. The portal is really open for anyone that is ready to condemn, i am looking for someone who can shed more light to this for me...just want to know what to do.

You mean agent went to submit your documents on your behalf? Thats a case of misrepresentation and forgery. you must have been banned. When was this? It's a 10 year ban. If its within 10 year, go and use your money for food in shoprite.

Please I have some issues I want to clarify with my visa application.

1. I am about applying for a 4 day visit to take an exam. The breakdown of my expenses are
Flight - £600
Accommodation - £41
Living expenses - 75
miscellaneous - 75
Total- £791
Is the total and breakdown ok or do I need to make some changes

2. I have been having problems securing the required accommodation on booking.com as both my GT and Diamond Bank Cards are being rejected. Is there any remedy for this?

3.As regards my account balance, I got a government job about 8 mnts ago. I wasn't paid for the first 6 mnts and received the bulk sum of just under a million naira 2 mnts ago. Before this, my account had come down to zero as I burnt through my savings during the wait. Now after the pay, I had to use about 550k to book for the exam and settle other expenses but now my account is back to about 810k. I have d payslips with a base salary of about 160k and a side job that pays about 100k monthly. The issue is that sometimes, I am paid in cash for the side job so it may not always reflect on my account. Is my account in order to apply?

4. Someone told me I should have at least 800k. The issue is if I go ahead and pay for the application, my account would drop below that. Can I print my statement first before paying? Would it have an adverse effect on my application as my account wouldn't reflect where I paid from.

Bros, the accommodation must be a hostel if am right. However, I dont know whether your living expenses for 4 days will be fine, although there is no where in the application for such breakdown. Explain the sources of your savings in your cover letter. print the statement before you pay the application, no problem. it's paltry. I don't know why you have problem booking your accommodation with your cards; consult your bank. We can only advise; nobody can predict the outcome here.

No interview, except in few cases if they need to clarify anything and in most cases, the applicants are students to the best of my knowledge.
