olukoredejay: Good morning house, Your suggestions and help will be appreciated. Please for those who applied and admitted to the University of central Oklahoma, were you required to pay at least $3000 of the deposit before an I-20 was issued.
Thank you. If you were asked for deposit then it's part of the requirements to issue you an i-20. Most schools don't do that but few schools do ask. Goodluck!! |

Easylife338: Hello house please what do I do? I need someone with good experience. My sister is now in Mitigan US. Before she left, we opened a dollar account for her, in the process of opening the account, they said they needed two referees, we got that, after they confirmed that the two referees had called them, my sister tried to check into the hotel today, as they tried to use the card, it fell through. Right now, she sent me a whatsapp message becuase I was asleep, "i'm in trouble, they want to arrest me for fraud". We called the GTbank after five hours of receiving the message, I being one of the referee, called gtbank customer service. I was told they had processed it already that there are few questions she will need to answer, that there is a way she will need to use the card. Who has information on how to go about this? Please. She can call GTB directly to activate the card. Call GTconnect. Its a 24hrs interactive customer care. She ought to have done that before she travelled. I am sure the person that gave her the card must have told her 2 things: change your pin and call to activate your card. |

vivyval: We are Nigerians and therefore saddled with the innate belief in God from time immemorial. A typical Nigerian believes that God will do everything for him/her. Understand my point, am not imposing belief in God on you, by all means, believe in anything that you fancy; but bringing the contempt to the public demoralizes the many that put their belief in God. For me, being spiritual does not mean suspension of the brain. Writing 'God', or 'god' makes no difference in this context. Some peeps here have had the worst interview, but somehow, they got the white paper, while some, after their top-notch preparations and dependence on self were denied. It's all about hardwork and grace. I just wanted to point this out. Cheers. Me I no fit laugh for both of you. What I know be say: That Amelica, if person no truly believe in God, he can easily believe no God exists with easy life and access to basic necessity of life. |

Although i dont know much about ghana must go "Dubai Airport is enforcing stricter baggage rules beginning March 8, wherein no irregular shaped, oversized or round bags will be allowed to be checked-in at the airport. The airport has one of the most technologically advanced systems for handling baggage, but experts said even these can be disrupted by irregularly shaped or oversized bags, causing jams and delay baggage delivery to aircraft. [quote author=gaviria post=59123659]So I got to my final destination(Illinois) like an hour ago. My flight from Lagos to Casablanca was scheduled for 6:30am but got delayed till 10am on Wednesday morning, so I had gotten to the airport around 12am not knowing they had rescheduled the flight, so I stayed at the airport till the next morning with sleeping at all. So we left Lagos for Casablanca around 10:20 and got there around 14:30, meanwhile my stopover was to be 4 hours in Casablanca and we had already used that up in the Lagos delay, so as soon as we alighted those of us with the 4 hour stopover had to rush over to the departure terminal to leave immediately. So we left Casablanca around 15:20 and got to New York(JFK) at 7:30pm local time. The POE queue was freaking long. People of different color, race and gender all queuing to enter the US. We were sha moving small small till I got to the front. By the way I don't know why I've just been having that thought of secondary screening and each time it pops up in my head I just reject it. So I was put on a queue in front of one white CBP officer where I had some Asians and Europeans in front of me. The guy took one Asian and one European for secondary screening. I just said it cannot happen to me in my mind. Gbam it got to my turn Me: Good evening sir CBP: Good evening sir I sabi this write-up byline by the tone. na my guy be this. He don enter yankee. God put Alubarika in your new journey. |

Stormyweather: Hello house, great work you guys are doing. Please I'm new here and I would like to ask some questions. 1) I'm a graduate of English studies, what cheap uni can I look at and what's the price like? Are there work opportunities while schooling? 2) I will love to do a master programme in media. How realistic is it being that I'm coming from the English line? 3) lastly, I'll love if I can get someone to put me through this. I'm just looking at where to do master. Thanks in advance The first thing to do is to plan, prepare to write GRE and TOEFL, the entire process is on this thread. check well. There are many schools in Texas and other sates that give scholarship for their mass communication Masters. Goodluck!! |

BlinkyBling: ok. But I have read comments here about people renewing months b4 expiration. Don't know though, maybe our felllows can still throw some more light on this... How much travel a year can be presumed frequent? It's not a year thing bro. You don dey enter yankee since your 25th birthday, now you be 35th and you don go friendly countries tire. Enter Canada, Uk, etc like say na Ketu mile 12 you deey go, na bonus marks. |

BlinkyBling: ok. A friend told me it's 10yrs sha. Please, do one wait for the visa to expire totally b4 renewal or can do that 3 or 4 months b4 expiration of visa? To get a 10 years visa, you must have been a frequent traveller to the US. You renew when it expires within the first 12 months of expiration. |
Travel › Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 12 by folmus: 7:13am On Aug 01, 2017 |
BlinkyBling: lol...b1/b2 visa is a 2 year multiple entry to the US. It's a tourist or conference visa. Meaning after you attend the conference, you can still go to the US anytime within that 2years. You can stay for 6months, leave and come back later till the 2year visa duration ends. Though some people dissappear when they get there but I don't think it's worth it. Because if you maintain status quo and respect the visa category rules, when it's time to renew, you don't have to attend an interview again. I think they"ll now give you 10years and that I think gives you a shot to chase your very own American dream if you believe in it. You mighht see it like spending hard earned money, but I see it like an investment into my life. Please fellow nairalander, hope am correct about the renewal duration rate? I.e 10years when the 2yrears expires. You are not correct o. Na still 2 years. |

Time2Smile: Congratulations. Please can someone enligten me, what is all the fuss about B1/B2 visa? One is only going to America to spend his/her hard earned money and then come back to Nigeria, or do people still..................... This comment heeeen heeeen! Someone is going to conference, to you that is lavishing. Travelling for holiday and tourism is good if you have money. Your travelling experience is important sometimes when applying to visit advanced countries. Why do you think this question keeps popping up during interview?: Have you traveled before? |

I've been trying to register for October SAT on collegeBoard but to no avail. Their response remains "Sorry for the inconvenience but we encountered an error within our system. Please try again later."
Please gurus what's wrong? Are you sure you can register for SAT online in Nigeria? Only if it's part of the new SAT. If all your options are exhausted and still unable to register, you can contact. How far with your IELTS prep? Goodluck. |

Glurssymum: Thank you so much because I and my hubby are going for student visa, I for f1 and f2 for him. We were refused at our first trial so he decided to stay back while I proceed for my studies. We have agreed that he will apply for f2 much later after am gone but wouldn't be leaving with me in the US. He intends to retain his job in Nigeria and be coming for visiting only throughout the duration of my stay. I was thinking that it wouldn't be possible initially for him to enter US unaccompanied by the f1 holder. Thanks for informing me he can come in and leave as he pleases alone on f2. A B1/2 is also sufficient for that purpose. |
