Good morning Nairalanders. I want to inform the fora that my wife delivered a bouncing baby girl safely, through CS yester night. Both the mother and the baby are medically sound. Though we had some complications, but with the help of medical experts, the whole issue was resolved within a couple of hours. I, the mother, and our baby girl want to say a big thanks to every one who have supported us all through, from casualty to antenatal, from theatre room to post natal. All your inputs including well wishes are appreciated. We say a very big thanks. Aside from delivery pack and cost of operation, both amount to ₦79000, necessary items like drugs, laboratory tests, samplings, injections and other things needed were to be paid for. Coupled with onward treatments of the baby and her mother, this had piled up our uncleared bills. With this on the line, we still need more of your supports. Not a penny is too little. Thanks |

Good morning. Big THANKS to all those who sent us money, those who called, texted, and those who mailed us. All your contributions, either morally or financially, well wishes and prayers are appreciated. We have not been released yet. The Doctors said they need more time to properly examine her and the baby. Even though she is physically sound, I still have to depend on the decision of Specialists. From the emergency section to antenatal ward, we moved through those section with your support. We still need your help to see it through. Thanks and have a blessed day |

TATIME:All the same, thanks for your inputs |
TATIME:My reasons for coming online are genuine. I have no intention to extort or defraud anyone. And I am currently in Mother & Child Specialist Hospital, Ondo. You may come and verify yourself or send someone to verify my claims here. |
MuttleyLaff:Oh man! Na so we see am o. It was disorienting but thank goodness, its still within control. |
I want to say a big THANKS to everyone who have supported me morally and financially. Thanks for the calls, prayers and words of encouragement. Thanks for every token you've contributed to save my wife and baby, including myself from distress. Every form of supports mean alot, and I appreciate it all. Her breathing is stabilized and she is doing just fine since yesterday night. The Matron told us the baby is surprisingly doing fine too. This, coupled with all your supports, is a relief. I have been informed that either way the Doctors' verdict goes, our Resident/insurance Card would cover it. Thanks to the State Government. At least, we would have about ₦50,000 to ₦80,000 cuts. It is not over though. We still need your help to see it through. Thanks and have a blessed day |

This is very unusual of me. But in a time like this, I have no other option than to seek the help of Nairalanders. I am on here seeking help to save the life of my wife and our baby. She is asthmatic and currently pregnant. It happens that lately, just as soon as she get to third trimester, she is having several asthma attacks. We reported to the General Hospital where drugs and injections were been administered on her. Each of these treatment relieve her from the attack. In the past four days though, the treatments both injection and drug stop working or maybe weren't effective and the attack became more frequent. She was placed on oxygen. The doctor prescribed that he had to operate my wife, safely separate and remove the foetus. The foetus is 36weeks old, and we are due to deliver him/her in two weeks time. His reasons are, forceful and hasten delivery would be more better, as he doesn't want the heavy breathing to affect the foetus health. The same doctor after spending four days, and wasted all resources informed us on Monday evening that he would not be able to handle the operation any longer due to increasing rises in BP and alarming difficulty in my wife breathing. He therefore referred us to Mother and Child Specialist Hospital in Ondo town. Either way, I want both my wife and child alive sound and healthy. We got an ambulance and made our way to Ondo. On getting here, specialists told us there won't be need for surgical operation as the baby is stable despite the mother condition. He added that is my wife condition is not stabilized, he will opt for operation. We had our sigh of relief but the painful side of it all is the enormous charges and cost of getting things. I have paid for all form of drugs, injections, tubes, drips and many other things I can't remember. We have spent every dime we have on us. Called home, neighbours and family for some support but the little from them have been exhausted. Because we ain't paying instantly, we well denied access to some laboratory tests, drugs, and injections. This is happening despite the fact that we are both registered resident of Ondo state and have our ID. Surprisingly though, the card has no effect on the exorbitant charges and cost of medical items. Presently now, we have exhausted our savings and have nothing left. She is a private school teacher, while I am cocoa produce buyer serving as apprentice. Last year, we lost a child. We do not want a repeat of this. I wholeheartedly need every help that can be rendered to save the life of my wife and child. Nothing is too small at this point. Thanks 2079664080 UBA |
