Vardy is playing for Leicester City and not a big club
Vardy has done better than players who had play for Man U Chelsea Liverpool and co
Oga we are talking about vardy here and not Neymar
You want vardy to always be playing in the champions league with Leicester city says it all ,you have exposed your knowledge
Hazard have not been impressive in the uefa champions league all through his career so maybe he is not world class if so Did Hazard perform at the world cup? |

Bialegend: You yorubas are backwards to an extent it beggars belief. Your reasoning alone is akin to those of early men. Neantherdals to say the least. You allowed who to settle where? Is Lagos or nigeria yours? Look at his false sense of entitlement. "Allow to Settle" You must stop that ish you are smoking. You want "one nigeria"? Then you have no right of claim to either Lagos or Abuja, after all, we own over 70 percent of C of O's in both cities. You can claim Ibadan, Oshogbo, Akure, who cares. Those are your civilized cities. You do not own Lagos, so stop laying claim to Lagos that you didn't build. Lagos, a land that was built with money from the oil from Biafraland and recent development being built mostly by Igbo and you have the audacity to utter the words "allowed to settle" You must be a fool. The place you call hamlets in Igboland are far better developed than any city you yorubas can boast of except Lagos which was built with Biafra's oil money and Igbo investments of today. You haven't even started to cry. Your only saviour will be if Biafra is restored, then you can lay claim to any part of Lagos or Abuja that Igbo properties are not sitting on. Ungrateful elements. We developed Lagos and Abuja and instead of being grateful, all you can come upo with is hatred and jealosy. Thunder fire you there. Fool!! Have you seen the links to cure your ignorance? Lagos already had electricity, roads, trams, railway, banks, sea port, airport, telephone, bridges, etc before 1914. How did you develop Lagos? |

kingxsamz: The Op's post and narrative is flawed because he mentioned Lagos. If he had mentioned Lagos Island, there'd be no issue. But since he's talking about the whole of Lagos but only showed one part of Lagos and then went ahead to ask if it's Nigeria's answer to a Miami or Florida, then it makes no sense. Would his topic still fit if he actually posts major parts of Lagos? Those pictures are nice but it hardly reflects on what most parts of Lagos actually looks like. So next time read to understand instead of rushing to reply. These pictures below are scenes you'll see 30 minutes after leaving the Island. Miami my ass. Lagos is different from Lagos state. |

Go back again to read and may comprehend this time and then google to learn. Illiterate. At least, not daft enough to be unable to read statistics like you. Now, look carefully and see where High rise is written and stop disgracing yourself in public. 1. Lagos high rise is 170 2. Dar es salaam high rise is 101. Now, which has more high rise buildings?

ShawnMcJoe: These pictures are images taken from Victoria Island, Lagos Island, Ikoyi and Lekki which of course have some great scenery and buildings I must confess. Don't be fooled, over 90% of lagosians actually reside in places like Agege, Ojodu Berger, Surulere, Mushin, Ogba, Oshodi, Omole, Ipaja, Ajah (beyond Sangotedo), Isolo, Ebutte Metta, Akowonjo, Festac, Yaba, Ikorodu, Ketu, Alapere etc and these are where the real hustle is. I'm sure nowhere in the whole of America is as rugged as these later places mentioned. That's the reality. Which is Lagos among all you listed? Remember, he said Lagos not Lagos state. |

TheStronghold: That's mainly the northern sympathetic nature to boko haram and their ideology. They can easily crush them but they see them as their brothers.
I've said this before but I'll say it again. If not for Nigeria and the problem it brings (over population on the southwest, reducing GDP per capita and job availability, over bearing our electricity capacity, even Osun has great electricity, that's because of low population) Yoruba Nation would've been like Egypt/ Morroco/South Africa by now. Nigeria is greatly holding Yorubas back.
The Greek are white, but they are not the same as the Germans at all. One country is barely sustainable, the other is an incredibly run, intelligent, and wealthy country. Yorubas are not the same as Fulanis. Igbos are smart and hardworking as well, but they lack the capacity to build a top tier nation as a group as they're too individualistic. Yorubaland that had the first tv station in Africa and the first skyscraper in sub Saharan Africa in1963, is struggling to build more in 2021. Clearly something has gone massively wrong. The difference between now and then is Yorubas controlled everything in the regional system, now decisions run through the central government, largely dominated by northern states. Security in Nigeria might have been compromised else I don't see us not solving the problems ones and for all or reduce it if we agree security can't be solved ones for all. I think regional system of government would have saved us this security issues and hasten economical, political, developmental, etc growth in each regions. Do not underestimate the SE. They are not individualistic as you think. In fact, they tend to work as a group based on what I deduced from my stay in the SE. They will certainly do well. |

Goke7: Most Africans come to Lagos and are shocked with the sophistication they see and in Abuja too. Even many cities and states capital have improved infrastructure over the years.
Yes our politicians are thieves and it shows the enormous cash at their disposal to do more. As you said the security issue had really taken away lots of shine from us as a country but we can only hope for better days.
Even folks from the west come here and are shocked with the level of technology in Nigeria. The Fintech and Financial sector is as good as what you have in the west reason the west keep prying away talents from Nigeria.
Nigeria is bad yes, but it's because the best of its citizens are ruled by the worst of it's citizens I can attest to your first paragraph. That was when I went to Osogbo recently. I was shocked at the level of development and infrastructures on ground. Couldn’t believe my eyes that Oshogbo is that developed. Not only Oshogbo. Ede is also very developed. In fact, most of the state capitals I went to in the Southern part of Nigeria are very developed. The problem is the best of its citizens are not ready to take the mantle of power. That’s another big problem. |

Goke7: Don't mind them, yes we have issues in Nigeria but same with these African nations and they aren't rich enough to build super infrastructure like SA. And on top of that only few nations like Nigeria and Ethiopia are truly independent economically. Most African nations are so dependent on the west including nations like Kenya and Ghana. The UN headquarters presence in Kenya is the advantage. Most of them are ignorant hence needs to be educated about the reality and facts on ground. If not for this security issue we are facing, we would have done better than this. |

They have steady running water and steady electricity. They also have better road networks than your big-for-nothing nigeria. Their internet connections are top-notch. So, where do you want to start from to compare? Who dash Daar es Salaam with more high rise than Lagos not to talk of Abuja ? You be proper olodo. |

The village that has transportation system (brt, water transportation, airports, railway etc) Village that has the 3rd highest millionaires in Africa. Village that has cites built from land reclaimed from sea. Village that has airport with one of the highest numbers of passengers in Africa. As you can see you don’t know anything. |

Apart from Kenya(which is still debatable considering Nairobi alone and of course SA most African countries are not better than naija. African countries don't have the money Nigeria has even with the current situation Exactly! They see the good part and arrive at a conclusion those African countries are better than Nigeria. Kenya is not better than Nigeria and their only best city Nairobi is surrounded by massive slums. Not better than Abuja and Lagos in terms of infrastructural development. Only South Africa is better than Nigeria in Sub Sahara Africa. |

One of the things I've noticed about most NIGERIANS are over bloated ego fueled by lack of exposure. Nigeria has not just the problem of corruption, most of her people need mental enlightenment. How on earth will anyone say Lagos is fast becoming miami? It's either you are a complete villager or you are just a complete illiterate. Tanzania is slum compared to Nigeria. |
