I propose we go with a 4-3-3 formation. An attacking line up with three forwards.

----------------------------------Carl Ikeme(GK)----------------------------------------
---------------------Ekong(CB)----------------Balogun(CB)------------------
M. Mohammed(RB)----------------------------------------------------Echiejile(LB)
----------------------------------------Onazi(DMF)----------------------------------------------
-------------------Iwobi(CMF/AMF)-------------Mikel(CMF/AMF)-----------------
---------------V. Moses(SS)-------------------------------------------Success(SS)
-------------------------------------------Iheanacho(CF)----------------------------------

Left back is a challenge for me because I do not trust Echiejile's crosses and tracking back. I put his name there because of his experience and I have not watched much of Madu's defending.

A lot of us hurled criticism at V. Moses because of his stingy play. However, he can become an asset with more license to attack. Instead of sticking to the flanks to cross and pass, a combination of three skillful strikers will bring out the best in Moses. We will see them exchange brilliantly close to goal and cause Zambia problems.

Mikel and Iwobi have the duty of disciplined play and key passes to unlock the opponents defence.

Onazi must stick to his disciplined play as he did against Tanzania. The setup is offensive and a stable defensive midfielder is crucial to prevent counter attacks.

Rohr should reduce the forward play of Echiejile to reduce the work he does to track back. Onazi should fill gaps.

Here is the report card of Nigerian players across Europe in Wednesday’s mid-week actions.

Liverpool Wonderkid Bobby Adekanye Is A Lionel Messi, Neymar Fan

Published: September 19, 2016

Liverpool wonderkid Bobby Adekanye is a fan of Barcelona superstars Lionel Messi and Neymar if his tweet is anything to go by.

The Nigerian-born wing wizard has a soft spot for the Azulgranas because he represented the club prior to his transfer to Liverpool last summer and has been pictured fraternizing with Messi.

Adekanye was forced to sever ties with Barca few months before the La Liga side announced the capture of Neymar, who is known for his showboating skills, in the summer of 2013.

“Messi and Neymar make football look too easy #thebest #talent, ” Adekanye tweeted.

Bobbdy Adekanye recently underwent hernia operation, so was not involved in Liverpool U18s 2-1 loss at Middlesbrough this past weekend.

How can you ask that? One of the criticism I had was the AFCON did not produced stats result. That is something we as Africans can look into.

If you feel other defenders did better than Omeruo does not change my point.

I said, it is hard to say Moses is the best when I feel other players contributed more defensively.

I listed Onazi, Oboabona and Omeruo.

So hanging on Omeruo to compare with other defenders dodges my point.

My point is, I do not place Victor Moses contributions oger players like Mikel, Omeruo, Oboabona and Onazi.
Without Victor Moses, we couldn't have gone far.

In fact, he was the best player for us.

I agree with you, on a second thought, Kingsley Madu will slot in and replace Ahmed Musa.
Madu I believe will offer more verve and energy than Elderson playing as a left wing back not a left back. Joel Obi is another good option.
Most people don't realise alot of teams which play a high pressing kind of system employ 3 defenders at the back when in possession while switching to a standard 4 at the back when defending.

Pep Guardiola's Barcelona and Marcelo Bielsa's teams usually set up like this.
I thought about Madu initially but I decided to go for Joel or Echiejile because I doubted his ability to defend. Anyway, he is good.

When defending it becomes 5-3-2.

It is his choice. That is like telling Mourinho to buy the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Mata over Drogba and Essien.

The Nigerian coach likes physical players and preferred bigger players. That does not mean he is racist or bigoted.

Lateef should make his choice based on what he wants, not based on the decision of one man.

If he does not want to represent us, I wish him the best.
Let's call a spade a spade, the coach is fanatically a racist and bigot for telling her 'she is not as big and strong as the black girls in the team.' now that is a racist comment and a bigot.

USA-Born Superkid Omidiji To Reconsider
International Future Over Racist Treatment
Of White Sister By Nigeria Coach

https://allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/57678Sophia.jpg

FC Dordrecht superkid Lateef Omidiji Jr is crushed and devastated, and will reconsider his decision to pledge his international future to Nigeria ahead of Netherlands and United
States after his white sister, Sophia, was
unceremoniously dropped by Nigeria U20 coach Peter Dedevbo ahead of the World Cup.

In truth, Dedevbo informed Sophia Omidiji before announcing his provisional roster that he is not planning to take her to the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Papua New Guinea, citing that she is not as big and strong as the black girls in the team.

But Sophia’s minders argued that she has more
technique and tactical awareness than the
domestic-based players, has a proven track
record of scoring goals, creating assists and
working hard on the pitch for the team.

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Lateef
Omidiji Jr is disgusted that his elder sister came to Nigeria for four months amidst fear of Boko Haram (there were two explosions) 30 minutes from her when she was in camp against advice from everyone, and lost her place with the United States youth team because she declared loyalty to her fatherland.

Omidiji Jr is scared that he might be humiliated
by the Nigerian coaches if he continues flirting
with the Nigeria setup .

To cut a long story short, Sophia has concluded
that she would have gotten better treatment
from Peter Dedevbo if she was dark skinned, big, Ibo and a Christian, but she is white, Yoruba and a proud Muslim.

Musa M can make those explosive runs annd also track back and support the defence which moses cannot do
Because Moses bring fear factor, he can create chances from nothing, he can score and he can pass better than Musa Mohammed.

There is difference between playing from the back and playing from the wing.

Moses can make explosive runs too but he can't defend. That is where the job of a DM comes in.

Rohr should understand that if you are good enough you are old enough. Quartet in our attack can take us to 2018 world cup.let us do away with always starting our expereinced and untalented stars like Ighalo.musa, moses etc. Know that Musa muhammed is more of a winger than a defender, the duo of musa and success can bully any defence. Remember it is African football we are talking about.
Hmm! You prefer Ndidi to Onazi and Musa to Moses.

I think Onazi is better than Ndidi in that position while Moses is better than Musa Mohammed in that position.

If we can think of using Musa Mohammed who is finding it difficult to play for his team then it is better we bring Daniel Adejo who plays regularly as a RB in the Serie B.

This formation could be far fetched. Abit alien to our style but I think a 3-5-2 formation could suit our team.
Something like this..
. . . . . . . . Ikeme. . . . . . .
... Omeruo. . . Leon. . . . Troost

.M.mohamed. . . . Onazi. . . Mikel
. . . . . . . . . . . . .iwobi. . . . . . . . . . . . Musa
. . . . . . . . Iheanacho. . . Ighalo

In this formation, Musa Muhammed would be licensed to push high up the field, just like a winger, when in possession, while the over load in midfield and Omeruo covers for him.
At the last AYC, he almost played like a free winger and got about 5goals. Won the player of the tournament I believe. Lichestiner plays this role for juventus.

In attack, Musa should be cutting in from the left. We all know what he did at the last world cup playing that position. Against South Africa in a friendly, he played from this angle and got a goal. He could be more prolific than moses playing there.

Iheanacho will support Odion and drop to the middle to help control the game, while Iwobi plays a free role which is his most natural position although he was trained at arsenal to play any role in attack even as a striker.

The Zambians will struggle to get out of their own half if we play a prototype like this. As they will be strangled to submission right there in Ndola.
This formation is good but you have to put the right players at the right places.

The 3 defenders you used are rightly placed but you will need wing back at each sides that can also play as a midfielder and winger. Therefore, Musa Ahmed should be replaced with Joel obi or Echiejile. Musa Mohammed is likely the right choice for the RWB.

Spot on with Mikel Obi and Onazi as the DM and Iwobi as the attacking midfielder. Kelechi Iheanacho and Ighalo are also the best for that position.

But I doubt it will work out because we are not use to this kind of formation.
