Anyways on a serious note don't generalise every state has the good, the bad and the ugly....my submission.

What if the guy is referring to his own school days in NAU when she use to visit her in NAU.
I still believe his remark of ....since since nau meants years back in nau especially as you mentioned she lives in awka which happens to be where the university NAU is located.

The only way to know is to ask her so you don't end up feeling bad if you happen to find out this was an ex from the past who is bored from covid lockdown.

According to the man he said "..since since nau" nau is accronym for a university in awka NAU so I am guessing he is only talking of what happened when they were students in NAU possibly many years ago before you two met and since she is now working according to you that may have beings guy from the past who decided to recall events of the yesteryears.....my guess though.

You can definitely study in Germany but you’ll require a certain level of German to study medicine. It is also very competitive to get a place. Gottingen has the best medical University of the 3 you mentioned. It’s also a small and very boring city. Almost like a ghost town.

In terms of job, you can be assured that German patients will not trust you with their life. You can also open your own praxis here if you can afford it. You can get a job after you study but don’t expect to soar in your career. Alternatively, you can study here and go find a job in another country.

Permanent stay comes after a few years of living and working here. You’ll first get a work stay, then you can get a permanent stay after about 5 or 6 years if you meet the requirements. Your years as a student is also counted.

Am a doctor trained both in Nigeria and a little bit in US too. Currently considering coming to Uni.of gottingen or Bonn or Frankfurt for more studies. However am kind of torn between life after studies in the 3 cities.

Had also thought of going to the Netherlands.

I did appreciate any suggestions in terms of a better city especially in terms of job as a black African doctor Who wants to lecture or practice medicine, and easy of getting permanent stay afterwards.

Granted I love practicing medicine but I still miss studying about rocks, the atmosphere and what lies beneath the earth and above the skies. Am hoping I will one day get a second masters there if it's possible even if it's for knowledge sake. �

So, people that are getting 5,000 naira as hazard allowance per month to attend to those with HIV, HBV, HCV, Lassa fever, Ebola, TB, etc and now Covid 19, are "coining" money??
Do you know most of your hospitals don't even have ordinary face masks and gloves, let alone PPE kits, for those health workers to make use of while attending to the patients with the above listed infectious diseases, inspite of the very low home pay?
If they have been "coining" money, why then do you think most of us have traveled out, with many more planning to join?

So basically no need for the countries to do the physical fighting again and waste each others times as well as the precious time of the entire world repeating it again.

I believe God can answer prayers even when said from the room. Let him pray from his abode cos obviously no government anywhere will want to expose non infected person to enter isolation center who is not going in there to render essential services.

I was my friend’s maid of honor. I was supposed to be with her by Thursday evening because of rehearsal.Had some last minute shopping to do at the mall.While there, I lost my car key & had no spare key.To make matters worse, the key ignition was not the original that the car came with. A key had broken in the ignition previously & they had changed it, so even reading the VIN to a dealer for a copy of the key would have been useless.My head wasn’t thinking that I could call a tow truck. Got a hotel across the mall & spent the night. Next day which was Friday some friends who were driving the 6 hours for the wedding venue came to pick up some items I had bought for the wedding .I had gone to the mall to figure out the car issue & my family was in Canada. God! See confusion. I let the friends go and told them l’d catch a flight. I later realized I didn’t pay attention to the time. Had to change flight to Saturday morning.God my friend was mad as hell, her husband, then fiancé is the one who kept calling me.Arrived in Philadelphia at 11am, Hair wasn’t done because the plan was for her hair dresser to do it. Had to rush from the airport to the hairdresser .Though I had looked for the makeup artist, I was the last arrival & she had to do my makeup last. It was done terribly because she was late for another job & I had left my own makeup at home trusting a makeup artist would do a perfect job.Was writing the speech during my flight, but it turned out good & received some nice feedback .LoL. The entire bridal party had to change hotels that morning of the wedding claiming there were hygiene issues.Not to mention one of the bridesmaids who seemed jealous because she wasn’t chosen as the maid of honor.I nearly cursed that girl out I swear!Anyway, the rest of the wedding went on well, but it had really started off terribly. Am glad they had a beautiful wedding because the devil had showed his face but me & her pastor took a moment to pray before the bridal party entered into the church.

They didn’t let my cousin enter the wedding hall because they felt her wedding gown was too exposed at the top which was a lie cos it was not .

She started crying and ruined her makeup ... we went to look for a jacket for her to cover up so she could enter the hall. The sleeves of the wedding gown were long and jacket sleeves were short.

She looked like nepa people with their cloth about to cut light .

Her makeup stained the back of the jacket so badly we wanted to take it off but no choice .
I ate a cold rice with no meat after all my hard work, no soft drink to even cool down .

The hotel you lodged don't cook food?

Wish I did or saw this kind of advise earlier. Had stable job and good profession but was busy sharing my money n salary to relatives who ironically started their own families early and who felt entiled....dont get me wrong nothing bad in helping others and relatives but then at one's neglect of vital life exigencies, it's somehow. Now am 37 and eager to do it as soon as possible. Sad but that's life. Younger ones learn, from 26 and 27 for men, just do the needful, pray and build your Empire together.
