KELLSNELLY: Navy captain for the Navy, Colonel for the army and Group Captain for the airforce. Others below this rank have their respective authorities oo. Don't see a Commander, Lt Col and Lt Cmdr. (NN, NA & NAF respectively) tomorrow and tell him he's not a senior officer ooooo 1 Like |

KELLSNELLY: Chief! Na wa oo. Officer is officer, senior officer is senior officer. Being an officer does not have any bearing with non-commissioned officers. Commissioned officers' cadre and non-commissioned officers' cadre are totally different in the entirety. To a civilian and an NCO, she's NOT a senior officer. You are confusing authority with 'senior officer' status. |
Family / Re: Nigerian Female Soldier Cradling Her Newborn Baby (Photos) by frank043(m): 1:45pm On Oct 02, 2017 |
KELLSNELLY: Oga, I don't need to check any insignia to know that a Lieutenant in the navy is NOT a senior officer. It's like saying a Captain in the army is a senior officer. Now, where does the senior officers' rank start? |
Family / Re: Nigerian Female Soldier Cradling Her Newborn Baby (Photos) by frank043(m): 1:42pm On Oct 02, 2017 |
KELLSNELLY: Or 1000 push ups, 500 frog jumps and python dance version 2 in potopoto or one of these Lagos gutters. It all depends on your relationship with them. If you are very familiar with the officer, like you guys where friends before his commission, just call him by that first name or even nickname. Others, by rank and the more senior ones, SIR! The relationship matters. I call the Captain friend I have by that funny nickname I call him while we were serving. Simple guys. |

Family / Re: Nigerian Female Soldier Cradling Her Newborn Baby (Photos) by frank043(m): 1:13pm On Oct 02, 2017 |
KELLSNELLY: It's not as literal as you are classifying it man. Yea, we lay men call all of them soldiers, but they ain't. My army officer friend corrected me when I referred to him as a soldier. He went further to calmly explain. Since then, I understood better and addressed them accordingly. Those officers can take offence ooo. Me no want wahala abeg. |

KELLSNELLY: I know that her rank is equivalent to a captain in the army, and a flight lieutenant in the airforce. It's actually Lieutenant, you are right. Hurriedly responded. |

nikkycool: Yes, I read it. Nominate an occupation in the same industry or a related industry. Tailor your job description to match the description of the course you intend to nominate. Nominating an occupation in transport is totally different to banking and your experience. Go through the occupations carefully, select a few and go through their respective descriptions meticulously. |

nikkycool: You don't need IELTS for VETASSESS assessment. I will advise you nominate another occupation closely related to your qualification and relevant experience. |

OzyMigrant: Thanks Chief! I will use my HND and assess for skill and qualification, under civil engineering draftsperson. As for work experience, I'd leave it to DIBP. As from January 2018, I will have 8+yrs post HND relevant experience and counting. 1 Like |
