Career / Re: The Ranks In The Nigerian Military: Army, Navy And Airforce. by frank043(m): 11:49pm On May 16, 2020 |
tyup: 3 to 4yrs for RC officers. Promotion for short service in most cases exceeds 4yrs. There are exceptions though, especially for those in the medical corps. You'd have to convert to DRC. There's a course for conversion, but conversion is NOT automatic bro. Note this and factor it into your plans. Best wishes. |

spill: I think we can work together off and on fiverr. I'm an experienced civil/structural engineer, based and practicing in Lagos... Have been meaning to really explore fiverr, but due to the awful workload I just been procrastinating... I can do you a PM if you'd permit. Thanks |

tomimy1: You will need a qualification in that field and/or a job description to match. The job description you'd be stating needs to be tailored according to that stated on the anzosearch website. With good enough evidence and documents you can claim whatever. 1 Like |

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: How To Reject An Employment Offer After Initially Accepting It by frank043(m): 9:14pm On Feb 27, 2018 |
Holoou: Take it from me, your firm will sack you in no time! All they are doing is to help you reject your new job, so that when they sack you, you will feel the heat that you lost on both ends. Most firms don't like it when staff have the effontery to resign. I resigned sometime in the past and stood my ground despite the juicy offers made. I have never for a day regretted making that decision. Yeye people!!! |

AdeyinkaSeun: Don't consider that bro... Come back to Nigeria, like you said, you will get a job... I tell you solemnly, there are lots of jobs here, so much that we have our own immigration system and business, the power is awesomely available 247, the healthcare system is out of this world, the military will lay down their lives in your defence, your kids will have the best of education and a bright future, the roads and infrastructure are being maintained and brought up to capacity, the politicians are selfless, our leaders are humane, the judiciary is nothing but perfect, the agricultural sector is booming, there interest free loan facilities for startups... I can keep going, but I believe I have made my point. You have every right to your opinion, I respect that. Please, where in Melbourne are you staying? Have you had any conversation with other Nigerians resident in Melbourne? Have you corroborated your experience with other blacks? I'm not resident in Australia, but find it hard believing your epistle. People have stated their culture shocks and nothing close to what you have shared was ever mentioned. Thanks 15 Likes |

elantraceey: Don't be too quick to judge madam. Those we are copying are evolving positively, but we are just here perpetuating mediocrity. That young lady may have grave circumstances behind her decision to accept lunch... I believe she knows that the best decision for her is to accept that lunch and solve her immediate challenge, probably to gain some composure and all. The only area I felt she flawed was not being careful enough to avoid the oily mess on her shirt. Mind you, I have been to an interview where I drank water, took a cup of coffee, ate snacks and still go the job! So my dear, having a bite or a drink won't affect your competency for that position. It's only a shitty company that can go this far and deny a competent and prospective employee a role cos he/she accepted a meal offer. |

Why not they choose to live a monk kind of life (a life without much ostentatious brouhaha) and attend to better the lives of the masses?
