Fulani herdsmen went about killing people in the east. No one killed them, they were destroying farm lands which are people's investments, the people complained, they killed them like animals, they raped the women and many people started running away from their communities, stopped going to farm lands, they cried to govt for help, but no help came. State govt were helpless becus they can't control security. Security takes orders from Abuja. Herders were striking at night. It was getting out of hand. Ipob got angry and setup ESN. At first, ESN went deep into forests to chase away fulani herdsmen . They were doing it well what Nigeria soldiers and police couldnt do. Immediately soldiers saw that they have started killing and chasing hersmen away from farm lands and forests, police sent special squad to fight ESN. They went deep into the forest to fight these ESN. That was what triggered them and the attacks on security started.

It is madness. Herdsmen were killing my people, I cried to u for help, u kpet mute, they kept killing us, destroying our farmlands, raping our women, beheading old and Youngs, u kept mute, u didn't provide security. When I got tired, I decided to fight back those herdsmen, u decided to provide the herdsmen security and u decided to fight me for fighting those who were killing my people. How do u want me to feel? I felt berated. I felt terrible.

That was the cause of all these mess. Buhari messed up Nigeria and has made Nigeria police and military tribal bias. This is very wrong. This can cause civil war. It is very wrong.

Don't bother explaining to that thing. A hater is a hater regardless.

So when we say they are arresting innocent people those haters who talk through their anus will shut up for once.

Sue the police for defamation and wrongful arrest. Pronto.

The problem with Ikwerre is that they are not comfortable being Igbophobic alone, they try hard as possible to recruit other Igboids around them to be Igbophobic.

U are the most folly of all Ohaji men. I have met most Ohaji people who even claim they are not Igbos but Ikwerres or brothers to Ikwerre. We they Ikwerres view the Ohaji people as not Igbos but people of their own identity. Ikwerre man never calls Ohaji man Isoma.

U probably need to do more research too. The world doesn't begin and end in Ikwerreland. An Owerri man is never an Isoma to an Ohaji man likewise the Etche and Ikwerre man domiciled in our domain. An Ohaji man feels related to the Ikwerre hence our greeting is " Ani meka o" "Di ala". But we are full blooded Igbos and have no regrets about that.

I will tell you what I observed about my people as an Ikwerre man. I am reasoning that the first set of Igbo people the Ikwerre people met were either slaves or outcast.
Ikwerre people generally view Igbo people to be same till date. They call them Isoma. This is a derogatory name for anyone with no culture.
And that is why when you refer him to be an Igbo person he immediately interpret to mean an Isoma person who has no culture.
This disdain towards the Igbos is the cause of the Igbophobia.
They got married to them those days but use them mostly as farm hands.
If there was a Task none would accept to do they would look for añ Isoma person.
You can carry out a personal research on this as I am telling you the truth. I am Ikwerre but my grandma was Umuahia.
You might hear even some acclaimed Ikwerre saying they are Igbos. These people have parents that were originally Igbos and are discriminated in Ikwerre land.
During the Aro Confederacy many of them migrated to Ikwerre land. But at the beginning of the war some ran back others who couldn't because of inability to trace their homes were adopted and most times given a place to settle outside the main community.
Till date their descendants are still discriminated. They are usually the Ikwerre people who are vociferous to say Ikwerre is Igbo.
The most demeaning thing I notice you can do to an Ikwerre man is to call him an Igbo man or Isoma. You have indirectly called him a slave. It is not only Wike it is with all of us. Even those whose maternal home is Igbo immediately key into this obsession.

U are an otele, being clever by half. I am from Ohaji, Imo State, where we refer to non indigenes from other parts of Igbo land as isoma too but that's by no means derogatory. It simply means they are Igbos too but non indigenes. I, however, concede that it might differ in meaning from urs. What ur submission simply did was to highlight ur short-sightedness as a whole. That y'all see all Igbos in the same prism is laughable. It clearly shows how unschooled the average Ikwerre is. You are Igbos when it suits you and non Igbo when it does not. You can be whatever you like it doesn't change a thing.
