Since its only ur bsc that has another name, why not try correct it from ur uni.

Dear Sir,

thank you for your email.

Please be advised that the Consulate General can only certify your signature for the necessary opening of a blocked account if you already have the admission letter of the university (a pdf printout is sufficient), as a copy of the admission letter has to be forwarded to the bank with the application form and your passport copy.

As soon as you have submitted your application for the opening of a blocked account, you will receive a confirmation letter from the Consulate with which you can apply for your student visa.

I trust you find this information helpful. Attached please also find the checklist with further information concerning the opening of a blocked account.

But really its still too early since they just stop receiving admissions on July 15,You might still need to give them Little time to process everything.

They actually stopped receiving on the 31st of may, and uni-assist sent my app to them since April . Am thinking of sending dem a mail in German using online translator, but the thing is they don't reply on time(8-11 days). Abi u fit help me rap dem 4 german language? *winks*

easyemman: So frustrating blood. I applied 2 schools(Jena n Marburg), Jena says in 2weeks time and Marburg says mid Aug. I have re-scheduled my appointment date from 5th Aug.-4th Sept. I don start another application process and if nothing till end of august will start sending for summer semester.no time.

EVERY MONTH THEY AUTOMATICALLY DEBIT UR ACCOUNT WITH 80 EUROS FOR HEALTH INSURANCE WEDA U SICK OR NOT. ITS A LAW IN GERMANY. BUT TOPE PAYS LESS AT 33 EURO OR SO YOU CAN CONFIRM FROM HIM. MY FOREIGNERS OFFICE HERE DEMANDS THE ONE OF 80 EUROS SO I COULDN'T GO FOR CHEAP ONE LIKE TOPE.

ACCOMMODATION ARE EXPENSIVE. I AM AMONG THOSE PAYING THE CHEAPEST 254 PER MONTH BUT IN BERLIN IS CHEAPER AT ABOUT 200.

RESIDENCE PERMIT

TO RENEW YOUR RESIDENCE PERMIT, THE LAW HAS CHANGED NOW, YOU WILL NEED 8K EUROS IN YOUR ACCOUNT YEARLY. BUT IF YOU HAVE SPONSORSHIP LETTER FROM GERMAN CITIZEN, THEN THAT'S ACCEPTABLE. UNLIKE BEFORE ONCE U SHOW UR JOB CONTRACT, U DON NEED TO SHOW 8K AGAIN. THEY SENT OUR GUYS IN 200 LEVEL HERE LETTER TO GET READY FOR THE 8K COS THEIR PERMIT WILL EXPIRE NEXT MONTH. NA THEN I KNOW SAY THE NEW LAW SERIOUS DIE.

CONCLUSION
GERMANY IS OK BUT IS GOOD YOU FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THE CITY YOU ARE GOING AND PLS LEARN THE LANGUAGE COS WHEN YOU COME HERE WITHOUT BASIC LANGUAGE, U WONT FIND IT FUNNY AT ALL. BYE I HAVE TO JACK COS I STILL GET ONE PAPER TO WRITE.

i have an offer for a Master program in Bonn-Rhein Sieg university of Applied Science but have so far not sent the required documents. i would have prefered University of Jena ( research based) against this one which is practice based. But Jena has not said anything thus far and time is moving apace.
i would like to get some information lconcerning the quaility of universities of applied science (Hochschules) or this pvcarticular University as i intend to forward the docs nxt week. Cheers.

I don't understand. Have u been admitted by the school or you are yet to apply? If you've been admitted by the school but prefer jena,I'll suggest you give yourself a little more time. Although you still have to consider when you booked your appointment so you wouldn't wait too close to d date.

sammykunjas: I don't think the VO would question your intention but you have to find out from the University's website or you contact them about when the university you applied to is closing enrollment/registration and when they are beginning lectures. From my gatherings from most German Universities' websites, I noticed most of them start Lectures on 14th October so if you book 13th,+3weeks it takes embassy to decide on visa application, that should land you somewhere around 4th October, so it still makes your intentions genuine so long as you can prove it to them if they ask you in the interview. #Just my opinion

Why I said at least a week is because the embassy said in a mail they sent to me that one can use the confirmation mail you will receive when you submit the application for blocked account to apply for a study visa. All the same sha, I am praying I receive all admission letters in this month of July.

sammykunjas: Bro, I'm still waiting for mine too oo..though there seem to be little progress in the Freie Universitat Berlin school. I checked my admission status in their online Applicant portal and they updated it last week Friday and said they have processed my application and it will be considered as part of the admission process. So I'm hopeful they will notify me soon because in their website, they said all masters applicants should expect notices (Admissions or Rejection) this July. The other school (Marburg) I applied to said they will notify me of my admission result as soon as Uni-assist processes my documents. Uni-assist has processed my application and sent my data to the School last week Thursday, so I'm expecting their notification soon. I don tire to wait mehn!!! I just Pray I get either of the admissions at least a week before the day I booked (26th August) at the embassy.

No o! Ovgu says my app is still been checked @ d faculty (they soecifically mentiined the faculty) n dat they'll get back 2 me as soon as possible. Uni-leipzig posted on their site that they'll take decisions by the end of august ( that's a lost cause 2 me cos I intend booking sept 13). I don't think i'll meet up.

Now, even the prospect of making it by Oktober is dashing with each passing day. Whats more - the Master Service Centrum has emphatically told me that they can't give me any info about my STATUS and my Portal has been 'motionless' since mid April. So not healthy.

Godson201333: E hard but the meaning of your 8k euro is that you can use it to survive within 1 year thereafter you should hve secured a job that can take care of your necessary bills.As a student,You can only work for 2 hours a day!

I tot it's 120 full days in a year. N dat makes it 7 hours a day.
