Amanda6: to most german uni nigeria is not in the category that u can use fact that u study in english in sec skul and waive the requirement, so it better to do the toefl exam. The countries considered r uk,usa, canada and australia as english is their firs language. I don't know about ur skul, just email them 2 b on d safe side.Ya. You are very right...and It's annoying cos we speak english better than profs sef, n even their students learning in English struggle during presentations..... 1 Like |

impactglobe: in such a case that school refuse to handover transcript to someone, is it ADVISABLE for such a person to send other docs while the school send the transcripts seperately? pls no yab, pls. keep the thread going!Send other documents and allow your school to send the transcript. If you are applying through uni-assist or if were issued an application number, make sure you quote it alongside other information to your school. That will enable the foreign university to sort it out. That's what I did and it worked. All the best! My 2 slaps!! |

styles2009:In as much as I agree with you that the idea of telling people to check pages or scroll could be frusstrating, some questions are so so annoying on first sight. For example," what's uni-assist postal address?"..... What's that? People should at least do simple research. No offence man |

Joexzy: pls frank, in your application did you use toefl or you used a letter from ministry of education. thanksI used both. Toefl and a letter from my school. I applied to two schools. 1 of them required toefl and the other, just any evidence of english language. It's safer you do toefl, it gives you an edge. |

pricelessmr:It doesn't matter the city bro. I mean, aroyemi is in thuringa, central germany and am in saxony, east germany, places considered to be a bit unfriendly but ve been having help right from the train station to my room here. Yesterday, I wanted to buy ticket for the TRAM but the machine was rejecting my coin. A lady came out of the blues to assist me. She had to take her time to sort out the right change to buy ticket with..... My point, it doesn't matter the city joor! But make your choice. |

aroyem4u: Okay. So I arrived in Germany monday night. Its been mixed feelings. Very organised society but this place isn't for lazy people at all. Please don't come if u r lazy. Academics is also tight. Am sure u won't be seeing Godson Tope and other frequent helpers often again as academics can be really demanding. You will do well to keep ur optimism cautious because it is really not rosy from what I have seen. Make sure when u apply for admision in a school you also apply for a studentenwerk accomodation simultanously.Lol! Same here as per the cigarrete tin o. Finally got to leipzig yesterday. One nice guy I met 2day, the 1st thing he did was to offer me a cigarette but the guy nice die, same with others I met. My Chinese flat mate want use help kill me sef, so tay I com tire 4 d help. Germany is really a nice place..... Tschuss guys! |
