Pls what's my of getting a study visa for PGD since I graduated 2018 and no work experience yet
Your chances are good at securing a study visa to Canada. However, It's important that you should prepare your application in accordance with the Canadian immigration regulations and manuals for the visa officer's review. The sponsor of your study abroad also plays a pivotal role in your case file and the reasons for opting to study in Canada considering the local options available in your home country.

How many months before they withdraw an application?
It takes quite a long time for IRCC to act on Withdrawal Request. You've to keep sending webforms to be certain that your request have been received by the responsible immigration office and being worked on. Otherwise, you will have to wait tirelessly and there will still be no staggering update on your file. On the other note, if your application has been processed to a certain extent before the withdrawal request, there will be no room for withdrawal.

Hello House, I'm a newbie and I have followed the Canada visa trend 17 and 18.
I must say I'm very impressed at the way information and support is given.

I am interested in migrating thru the study path. I have applied to Georgian college and awaiting their response.
I am a 40years old female, married with 3kids and have 17years work experience.

1, I really would like to how to package my application to include my children
2, Can I apply for my husband's visitor visa along with mine and the kids (I saw online that visitor visa takes 206 working days now)
I am applying for an advanced diploma in aviation......any downsides to this?

I really would appreciate your expertise and experience here. Thank you all
@baphil @justexcellent @frankbonn1
My straightforward advice for you is to apply for a program that is higher than your already acquired degree. In essence, going for an advanced diploma dramatically reduces your chances of convincing the visa officer than you're a genuine student. With your vast 17 years work experience, you should be qualified for a Master's program if you adequately prepare your SOP for graduate admission. Again, its highly recommended that you should apply alone while your spouse and kids accompany you through the SOWP and visitor's (depending on the age of your kids).

I hope this information satisfies your inquiry

N/b this is my third time of applying. First and second refusal letters came a day after BVL.
Please I want to know if anyone has ever had this type of delay.
This often happens, I would advice you contact IRCC Nairobi office via webform, this will expedite the finalization of your application.

Good day House,

Please I submitted my application with my uncle's (sponsor) & my personal statement of account for 6 months. I also submitted my English waiver from my school and IELTS result.

If by chance I get NSE request,

1, do I still need MBS?
2, if 1 is yes, would I require MBS of my uncle (sponsor) alone or I will have to submit MBS of my personal account too?

Also can I attach intro letter from my employer to the MBS, as I only attached my offer letter, pervious work letter, promotion letter
If you included a my bank statement certificate and a copy of your IELTS with your application, IRCC will not request for any of these documents from you again under the NSE program. On the contrary that you didn't attach them with your application, then you will be contacted by IRCC to provide them to continue processing your application.

I hope this satisfies your inquiry.

Hello my people! @frankrobbn1 and other gurus. Pls I need your advice. My visa application is still on process. I’m done with my course registration and the school just notified me that my first semester class will be online. I told them I don’t want online classes and I was advised to let them know as soon as possible if I would be deferring. Now I’m confused on what to do. My program is just two semesters (a year) period.
Should I go ahead to defer or resume online while waiting for the embassy decision?

I’ll be very grateful for your suggestions and advices.
I would advice you defer your acceptance till the next available intake. Its quite risky starting your studies online without a visa.

36 yr old going for a 2nd masters is a red flag. Apply for your PhD
Where was it stated on IRCC regulations and manuals that going for a second master's at the age of 36 is a red flag?

It is important to be mindful of the advices we dish out to others on this platform as several individuals rely and act on them. I can tell you for free that the applicant stand a chance of getting approval for her visa application with a second master's if she can rationally demonstrate in writing to the visa officer that the intended program is what she reasonably needs to progress in career and explain the benefits of studying it in Canada. I can barely count how many applications I know that were successful with similar profile. As a matter of fact, a matured applicant whom i vetted her SOP shared her success story on this platform last week. In a nutshell, the applicant can apply with a second masters and stand a chance for TRV success.

Helllo Frank, all the gurus and everyone.

Please if my masters is related to my university course of study but not related to my present line of work. Do I still need to present a study leave in my application ?
There will be no need providing a study leave for a position that is not in tandem with your intended program in Canada. By the way, how long have you been working in this capacity? In the case that you've vast experience in this job, I would advice you go for a program relevant to your current employment.

You can apply for a second Master's in different discipline like Public Administration. You should provide a LOE which would explain your intent to pursue a second Master's instead of a Phd

Please assist me the pic is blur, please open the file attached to this text
I regret to inform you that the letter you received from the immigration authorities of Canada (IRCC) is termed "Procedural Fairness Letter".

I can see that the visa officer has expressed grave concerns that you've misrepresented specifically by submitting a fraudulent company bank statement with your application.

Please be informed that it’s important to understand that there will be no other opportunity to respond after a refusal and this letter is a great chance to avoid some serious consequences that may come with a refusal such as being declared inadmissible to Canada or facing a 5-year ban if infact that you're being found guilty of misrepresentation. At this point in time, it's highly advisable that you submit a detailed and accurate report that summarizes all the critical arguments of your case. A strong and well-thought argument can lead to a more favourable decision i.e in the event that you've not purportedly submitted a fraudulent bank statement with your study permit application.

The below documents are crucial in responding to the PFL letter you received from IRCC:

Required Documentation
1. Get a Mybank Statement Certificate with ticket ID and password from your bank.
2. A bank reference letter stating the bonafide owner of the account and the exact date the account was created.
3. Print out a one year bank statement showing inflow and outflow of funds.
4. Write a detailed letter of explanation addressing the alleged misrepresentation. The LOE should be 2 to 3 pages.

Kindly be advised that if in fact that the bank statement was fraudulent, there is nothing an immigration lawyer can do in this case as there won't be evidence to overcome the visa officer's concerns.

IRCC dobt grant visitors visa anymore to internationals cos of Covid.its just study and PR are 100% active now. If you are in canada as a student and want your family to join u and stay, why not opt for a spousal work permit for your husband and son
Even the PR applications for outlanders have been on hold for more than a month due to travel restrictions. Appearntly, IRCC are only processing essentials workers (work permit applications) and study permit applications.

I am about applying for visa but the statement of account I intend to use is that of my Dad but the problem is my brother has applied with this same statement since October and hasn't gotten response. Now he has moved on with his business and I just want to apply. If I use this same account, won't it raise questions or affect decisions on financial status. Please help
From the wisdom of my vast experiences, I wouldn't advice you to apply with same account statement. You're trying to cheat the immigration system of Canada and when caught in such ACT, you may be found inadmissible to Canada for a period of 5-years. Consequently, my professional advice for you is to wait until your brother's application has been completed and a decision reached on his file. IRCC are a team of smart people and are quick to pick out irregularities on any file submitted to them. It's also possible your application goes to same visa officer processing your brother's file. Who knows?

Please don't try it.

Thanks @ Frankrobbn1 as mentioned, I read through the LOE I submitted and noticed that I submitted the wrong one. It was as a result of the very many attempts to reduce the files.
I have valued my property and would link that to getting a strong ties. It’s a 2 years program with first semester almost completed.
Given that you've completed a semester in Nigeria, its highly recommended that you should reapply as soon as possible so that your children would accompany you to Canada. A visa that will last until the duration of your program would be granted to your accompanying dependents.

You should provide a copy of the cheque which bears the details of the transaction. Also make reference in the deed of gift that the money was given through cheque. You need an affidavit and a deed of gift to support this claim.

Sorry to bring you back.
If your institution doesn't require Ielts, would you need it for NSE?
Most institutions in Canada wouldn't require a foreign national from Nigeria to show English proficiency. It is believed that Nigeria is an English speaking country and students were taught in English Language during their undergraduate studies. For the NSE program, IELTS is a mandatory document. You're also at liberty to opt out and advise in writing your inability to provide the requested documents.

Bro!

Check my angle. As at this moment, the NSE processing style is not been followed as advertised by IRCC. Presenting the LOE at this current moment where IRCC is processing all application as both Regular and NSE doesn't necessary mean the application will be pushed to the Regular Stream.

May be when all areas have been balanced, then the respective rules can take.

In conclusion, my most reason to believe that the moniker application will still be processed as NSE is that; NSE was requested and not by choice, hence, why the LOE will come sufficient to cover for the test considering the unbalanced nature of the processes involved.

If NSE was by choice, then your able suggestion is well-received, especially when IRCC becomes strict with rules guiding both processes.

One love bro.
IRCC are becoming strict on some applicants providing an IELTS Certificate before a decison would be made on their application. I have seen a case of such whereby the visa office in Nairobi made reference to their request via email response about the IELTS Certificate which is yet to be provided by the applicant. Apparently, the 20days processing times spelled out for applications under the NSE program are not been observed by IRCC. Although, there are a lot of applicants who have provided response to the NSE request on their inability to provide certain documentation and are still waiting for months, while some others who applied with the complete NSE package are getting faster feedback on their application. Hence, my suggestion that non-compliance in providing any of the requested documents, such application wouldn't be considered under the NSE program and might take a longer processing time. On the other hand, this doesn't have any effect on the visa officer's discretion.

Thank you very much for this. But in reality, I have no land to my name and little money in the bank. I'm a freelancer. And sometimes I go to my dad's office to help him in his business. (He has a manufacturering firm) I want to say I volunteer at my dad's firm and he will be the one sponsoring my entire expenses. He has a lot of assets I can show, but I have none. In this my situation, how do I construct a good SOP for avoid the "Personal asset and Financial status" issue, considering the fact that I have none? I just need an idea of how the SOP would look in my case.
You can get your dad to gift a property to you out of love and affection he has for you and he has irrevocable power over the asset. This will aid your application as per the "Personal Assets and Financial Status"

What are my chances of becoming a permanent resident?

Thanks
They all serve same purpose with different names based on individual preferences.

1. Reference letter,
2. Letter of recommendation and
3. Letter of introduction are the same thing.

You should make sure that your recommendation letter covers important clauses like your job title, salary renumeration, employment start date and your responsibilities in that capacity.

Also would transferring huge amount of money to the student account within that short time to show statement of 4 months cause a red flag?
If you're being sponsored by someone, you need to provide the person's bank statement to prove financial sufficiency for your intended program in Canada. On the account that the money you're talking about here was from the sponsor of the applicant, is not a red flag. The sponsor should state in his/her sponsorship letter that s/he has transfered this amount into your account to prove financial support and funds accessibility.
