Simply state that "I HAVE BEEN REFUSED A F1/B1 Visa TO THE USA on the DD/MM/YYYY"

If you have previously applied to enter Canada, carefully state "I HAVE PREVIOUSLY APPLIED FOR A STUDY VISA TO CANADA on the DD/MM/YYYY"

You can use your mom's pension SOA as an auxiliary to her main account statement for your Visa application. I wouldn't advice that you should submit only her pension as the primary POF because funds in pension account has restriction and can't be accessible in full during your studies in Canada.

Documents to show transfer of ownership should be titled Deed of Gift.

NB: Am a single Applicant, jz thru with NYSC in March, am not employed yet.

MyBank Statement is a perfect means of showing POF especially for Canadian study Visa application. Your dad can absolutely use it in place of the regular SOA. Being that you're a fresh graduate, you don't need to show proof of current employment in your application. When filling your study permit IMM1294E form, remember to indicate NYSC as your current occupation and include supporting documents from your service to support this fact.

My annual tuition fee is 8,073 CAD for one year. Apart from the 20,000CAD from my sponsor, she will pay my first term tuition fee. I will be setting aside 10,000CAD for my living expenses.

The 1.2M is in my new salary account as I started building the account 2 months ago.

In essence the $20,000CAD which has been set aside by your sponsor is sufficient for your first academic year. Please go ahead and include the three (3) months salary bank statement which has 1.2M as the closing balance in support of your flight itinerary and other miscellaneous expenses that might arise during the course of studies in Canada.

While filling the IMM1294E, the financial section, the information you should fill in those columns should reflect the following figures:

Tuition = 8,073CAD
Room and Board = 10,000CAD
Others = 3,000CAD

Funds available for my stay = 24,500CAD

I arrived at this figure, because I calculated the total sum of your annual tuition, room and board, the remaining 2kcad left from your sponsor and 4kcad which is the equivalent of the 1.2M in naira.

1-) I believe you're referring to the newly launched NIGERIA STUDENT EXPRESS VISA route?. You don't need much explanation when applying via this route. Once you've the $30,000CAD in your Mybank statement for a period of six (6) months. A brief explanation highlighting your Mybank statement with other supporting documentation is enough to demonstrate that you've the financial resources to undertake your program in Canada. Note: This program hasn't been officially approved to begin.

2-) The advantage the Mybank statement has over the regular statement of account is that with the ticket ID and password which has been specifically been addressed to the Canadian embassy for the purpose of your visa application. The Visa officer can easily access and verify the authenticity of your account and the funds available without needing further information from the bank . This is the easiest method introduced by the Canadian embassy to feasibly fish out applicants with fraudulent SOA.

3-) As an international student aspiring to travel to Canada for an advanced learning. Its mandatory that you must show proof of funds for the first year of study which includes your tuition and living expenses as well as your flight itinerary to and from of Canada.

Q1. Good afternoon my people. I have started my application for a student permit but I noticed something that gives me concern. My application doesn't have a medical request form on it as shown in the 1st attached picture but when I checked the application details I used when I was denied SP last year, I saw a column for medical request (see attached 2nd photo). 1-) Please ignore the previous medical request form you saw last year. You've not been asked to go for medicals, so you don't require medicals at this time.

2-) Your annual tuition and living expenses for your proposed program in Canada will determine whether the 1.2M and the $20,000 is sufficient to cover for your first year of study in Canada.

3-) You can apply for your VISA without pay slips. The 1.2M where is it saved? Is it in the salary account or personal savings. Salary statement is also not requirement for a study visa application considering that you're a sponsored applicant.

It is not too late to register the company, then your bank transactions (inflow and outflow) would do the talking for you and reference letter from the bank, cause you've been dealing with crypto trading, you might also want to explain your business in your letter. hence what you've been saying is not making sense especially to VOs. (register your company ASAP) don't rush to apply.

Presently, aside the Survey Plans that is available ( No C-of-O Yet), there is Letter of Conveyance of the two landed properties, I don't know if it can be an alternative for Deed of Assignment.

You don't have problems with employment since you're a fresh graduate. When filling your IMM1294E form, endeavour to fill NYSC as your current job. Include your NYSC posting letter, the discharge certificate etc to support your claims.

Send an email to the Kenya, Nairobi immigration office requesting for the status/update on your application and asking if they require any further documents from you that could expedite the processing of your Visa.

Email -nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca.
Also raise a CSE via THE NAIROBI WEB FORM.

Don't forget to state in the mail that your application for a study permit has exceeded the standard processing times for Nigerian applicants. Furthermore, even if your application is approved now, you will still have to wait for VFS office to open before you can proceed to submit your passport.

Awesome! From the list of documents you had listed it appears that you're a single applicant. What about your employment documents in particular (study leave)?. Aside the survey plans of these land, do you've the deed of assignments which is the land document?. I think you're good to go if you also include these documents with your application.

Welcome to the thread, I hope you will find your stay here very educating and rewarding as we work towards achieving success.

Having carefully analyzed your profile, there is no logical progression between your previous studies, your current employment and your choice of program. Hence why the visa officer boldly highlighted purpose of visit and current employment situation as a reason for a refusal. In order to prove that you're a bonafide student, you should be applying for a program that is reasonable in light with your current job as a Customer Service Supervisor. I would suggest you look into Management programs, HR programs or any other Art specialized programs, because that's the best possible way to demonstrate that your intentions are solely to study in Canada.

Contact a real estate agent to provide you the most accurate valuation using comparable homes/lands that are sold and bought near the area. Valuation report cost ranges between 100k-150k.

Even with the current global pandemic nothing is on pause unless biometrics which you will have to wait for 90days before you can submit your fingerprints at the VFS. I am about starting the application process. I will be submitting my brother's savings account with 10M plus. I also have 6M+ in my own personal account from trading crypto but i can't use it since it's not a registered business (or can i?) the amount is not a huge deposit but it grew over time.

We have properties like a newly purchased business (owned by my dad). Would submitting the business registration document and property document serve as a home tie?

The 2,000CAD at MUN is refundable. Please disregard what was written on the tuition deposit receipt. You can request for a refund on the account that your application was rejected. Don't fright okay. I know someone who got his refund back from them.

His account statement is much better when ascertaining his financial strength in sponsoring your education in Canada. Nonetheless, you can submit the both (SOA & FD) with your application. Your sponsor (Dad) is expected to have adequate proof of financial support for your education. Hence, the money in his account is suppose to outweigh your tuition and living expenses and have some left for his dependents and personal welfare. The visa officer knows that it's quite unreasonable for a sponsor to use the entire funds in his account for your education in Canada. In essence, the advice I'm trying to pass across is that your sponsor (dad) should increase the funds in his account before you think of applying for a Canadian study permit regardless of the fact that you have little/no funds in your account.

Please I have a peculiar case. I intend to sponsor myself and raise up to 10m in my account but I do not have that amount in my account at the moment. The cash will come from my sisters and brother because they took it from me to run their businesses as I had no immediate need for the money. Most of the cash was sent to my sister's account when mine was dormant so that it could be accessed easily and most importantly if anything bad happens to me (God forbid) because I am not resident in the country and I am single. I have landed properties and earn over 10m per annum for more than 5 years. I intend to provide bank statement from where I reside, pay slip, offer letter, confirmation of appointment and introduction letter from my company. Will this raise dust and will these documents be convincing? Kindly advise me.

In view of the bolded statement, it will definitely raise eye brows if your brother and sister decide to deposit the 10M into your account considering that your account has been dormant for couple of months now. The long and short story is that you should start now by building your account statement for a period of 4 months before applying for VISA. I repeat do not deposit the 10M into your account towards the time of application submission, your application will be rejected on the basis of financial insufficiency.

It takes minimum of 4-5 months for you to be accepted for a master's in Engineering and LLM courses at the University of Windsor. Management programs takes about 2-3 months.
