Memorial university doesn't require English test as far as your university degree was taught in English.
It is a compulsory requirement for undergraduate studies in MUN. I believe that's the OP's current circumstance.

Good morning everyone..

Wanna make some enquiry....

Has anyone used FLYWIRE to pay his/her tuition fee here?

Does it pay to use it (most esp. In terms of charges etc.)?

What are the Merits & Demerits?

And is there any other thing one need to know when using this flywire platform ?

Am asking all of this cos of the way Banks are flooded with lots of customers lately and are not even allowed to enter...

and I heard FLYWIRE its an alternative to FORM A method of paying tuition fee

Thanks...
Flywire corporation is an international payment facilitator that allows you to pay your Curtin tuition fees securely from overseas, often in your local currency.

Usually, payments arrive the school within 3 to 5 business days. The rate of flywire is also expensive when weighed with the currency conversion rate between Dollar $ and Naira N. More so, when using flywire you will be issued a unique payment reference I.D which looks like this REG6788999 and a five (5) days expiration date. Thus it is highly expected that your bank should carry out the international transaction/payment before the stipulated deadline of this reference number from flywire.

If you have a very trusted and reliable fellow in Canada it will pay you to use the person than using flywire and it will also be cheaper for you and cut over 30k - 50k in naira or more depending on the amount you intend to pay as your tuition to the school in Canada.

Hello everyone, please come to my guidance.

I am stuck at the 'request for medical exam' form on the study application page. I am not doing medical upfront.
So when I clicked on the form, i was able to download the form, and when I marked the 'yes' I want to complete a medical exam on the downloaded form. I received a prompt that I can't save the form with my response.

What will I upload back into the supporting documents for medical.
Please educate me
See the attached the Request for medical form (IMM5753e). To make things easier for you, I have marked YES for you, you can now download the form using your desktop/system and upload it in the required section.

1) if you mean employment letter, u should have your own copy but if it's not.. no u don't need it
2) Optional
3)NO!
4)Honestly No.. get a new one cos by the time you get to the stage of stamping your passport, u will need to get one
5)YES and also a letter from your mum explaining her relationship with the uncle could be a useful addition.
@Anon123, the OP asked if letter of introduction from employer is important, you said "NO" following your answer to number 1. This information is wrong

@ohizzy, be well informed that letter of introduction is a very important document and should be included in your visa application.

The letter should be in the company's official letter headed paper and should highlight the following -

1. Your job start date,
2. Your job responsibilities and duties with the said company,
3. The number of hours you work per week,
4. Your annual remuneration and benefits,
5. The letter should confirm the fact that you're a bonafide employee of the company and the organisation is aware of your wish to acquire an advanced knowledge in the field of xxxxxx at xxxxxx school in Canada and all necessary assistance should be given to you.
5. The letter should be written by the HR of the organisation and must be duly signed.

Note - With this letter you don't require an employment letter. You can include a study leave letter to further buttress the fact that you would be returning home after studies.

Just don't talk about it in your next application, don't mention anything about your MBA acquisition as u apply the third time, as the VO that handled your application previously will be different from the one that will handle it now, the only thing I will advise you to do so is to try nd reconstruct your SOP stronger this time, u can mention some of the courses in your proposed program that tickles your fancy, u can browse about them nd then say how it's knowledge will mek u a hot cake in your country u can find a better word though to Mek it catchy.

Secondly , if you paid part tuition which is otherwise known as tuition deposit(mandatory payment, paid after securing admission) all this while, try and pay your first semester this time b4 reapplying, and if you have paid first semester tuition lately, try and pay the full year tuition, and have sufficient funds to cover for your stay and otherwise.

Lastly, travel history can be waved if the above mentioned is achieved as it is never a very strong reason for visa dismissal, but all the same mention to them you have traveled to UK and u didn't over stay your visa (using bold fonts,), u mention reason y you traveld nd mention y u haven't traveled again since then maybe because of work or otherwise until now, maybe because u need an upgrade in your career, u know better etc.

You can gv it a little tym b4 u apply ND see if Canada will ease it's restrictions, while you gather all the necessary documents u need.
My advise though, your choice is your best bet!

All the best!
Well said! @Strongwind1960.

However, I have concerns that the bolded suggestion put forward by you as regards @iffyibeh enquiry is misleading and falsifying.

You guys shouldn't play smart games on these visa officers because they are always ahead of every applicants at every given time.

With due respect Sir and For the sake of records, I may have to refer you to the law that governs the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Act

According to the subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act of Canada which states:

"16(1) A person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonable requires"

Advising @iffyibeh to conceal the fact that she has attained an MBA certification which she had already included and stated in her previous application is misrepresentation.

In this case, she is directly or indirectly misrepresenting or withholding material facts relating to a relevant matter that induces or could induce an error in the administration of this Act.

What you guys should know about Canada immigration is that so far you've previously applied for a Visa, all your details including previous filled visa forms and other supporting documents are already stored in every applicant's GCMS Data base and will absolutely be cross-checked by the subsequent Visa officer in order to ascertain that the current information provided by the applicant is consistent with what they have on their system. This is where UCI number plays a pivotal role in all applications submitted to IRCC.

That being said, if you refuse not to declare an information in your application (especially level of education and previous work experiences), PLEASE NOTE that if it is found that you have engaged in misrepresentation in submitting your application, the applicant may be found to be inadmissible under section 40(1)(a) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. A finding of such inadmissibility would automatically render the applicant inadmissible to Canada for a period of five (5) years according to section 40(2)(a):

@iffyibeh, in view of the fact that you've already filled in your IMM1294E form that you've an MBA, I would suggest you stick to this information in your future applications to Canada. All you need is to justify why you're going for the PGD program in Canada and its lucrative benefits that can offset the cost and difficulty of undertaking the program in Canada when there are similar available programs in your home country. Better still go for another master's program in a different area of specialization. This would also bolster your chances of getting your visa approved. I know several applicants that have successfully secured their visas with second master's program and are presently in Canada.

Please don't take chances by putting your application at risk of been charged for misrepresentation. This is a very serious offence in the Canadian immigration, so try as much as you can to avoid it NOW!.

I hope this information is helpful to you and other prospective applicants who find themselves in this situation. Be properly guided!

The family information form does not have the validate option. And there are certain areas where they say you have to sign e.g if you have no kids there’s a portion of the form where you sign a declaration that you don’t have any kids. I suggest you print only this particular form and sign then scan it back.
You don't need to print and sign any of the IMM forms when applying via the online route. You're only required to fill the right information, date the forms, and upload them into their various columns.

Note - After successful uploading of documents into their various platforms, you will be prompted to use your full name as written on your passport to electronically sign the application and transmit the document to IRCC for due visa processing.

Hi all, hope we are all observing and keeping to the advice of the health care professionals. I am sure this pandemic too will pass soon and we all will still be here with no loss IJN

To all those who recently have been refused their study visa, I feel your pain and I want to encourage you to order for your GCMS notes to ascertain if there is a hidden reason by the VO aside the normal generic refusal reasons. I will also advice that no one should be discouraged but rather sit back, rethink and repackage. But one thing you must not do is to start rushing to re-apply. Trust me, from experience, I know some reasons behind someone wanting to rush and reapply, but I am strongly advising against it.

Congratulations to those getting medical requests because you are almost there. I advise no one should feel like a supper man/woman but rather attribute it to the Grace of God aside you’re hard work/input.
Kindly make sure to help others on these forum as best as you can. If they ask questions, please respond as best as you can. If they reach you in person, please don’t do shakara, respond as best as you can also. I have one question, DOES THE MEDICAL REQUEST STATES 30days or 90days? Please let us know if any of the medical centers are open.

As for all the other great men and women who has been taking their time to respond, explain and helping others, I greet you all. Please keep doing the good.

Hello,
Hi, im a prospective International student, I would be applying as a transfer student for fall 2021, I've completed a 5 years Higher national Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering technology @the Polytechnic here, having done that i would like to apply as a transfer student, for an undergraduate program (Petroleum Engineering) in UofAlberta or UofCalgary . what I'm concerned about is getting an admission with this criteria from Nigeria as a Higher national Diploma holder, getting advanced standing or placement for the course i enrolled for and has this type of transfer been done to Uof A or UofC for Admission. what are the possibilities and if i was given an admission how many years would it take for me to finish the course in petroleum Engineering. Thanks in advance guys, been a while, im glad I'm back on this thread after 6years to continue my ambition to Canada. #TRVfall2021
My regards to @justwise, @Chrigo if im correct, been a while and others
Why go to Canada as a transfer student and start from scratch when you can apply directly for a PGD program given that you've successfully completed a 5 years Higher national Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering technology in Nigeria?

Following your intent to study in Canada, there is no logical progression between your previous studies, your current job role and your intended program. Thus, I can confidently confirm that the visa officer will see you as not a genuine international student from a troubled country and that you're using study permit as means to facilitate entry into Canada rather than educational advancement.

Please do not put in such weak application as you might indirectly be adding to the high visa refusal rate for Nigerian applicants. Your best bet is to opt for a PGD at this point in your career.
