NwanyiOkpa:Is your bitcoins business legally registered with corporate affairs commission? If yes, provide the business registration certificate and tax receipts you pay to the government. It will end in praises |
NwanyiOkpa:She meant her company account was 14M, Bank of America account 11,000USD, fixed deposit 10M, and Tuition deposit receipt $4KCAD. It will end in praises. |
Wunaarroon69:Very True! |
OluwaFavored: OluwaFavored:Welcome to the thread, I hope you will find your stay here very educating and rewarding. With regards to your questions; 1-) As stipulated on IRCC official website, Having 2 intents (1 for temporary residence and 1 for permanent residence) is legitimate. Hence, this doesn't adversely effect your study permit application. For further details relating to this matter, kindly refer to IRCC WEBSITE ON DUAL INTENT. However, I have read a GCMS NOTE where an active EE was a reason for a refusal. This is due to the fact that applicant weren't able to satisfy the visa officer that they will depart from Canada after the authorized period of stay. Notwithstanding, there are many applicants who have been successful with their study visa while having an active EE profile. So i think it boils down to the visa officer in charge of the application. 2-) Going for a second masters degree instead of a PhD can be justified beyond reasonable doubt by explaining to the Visa officer that the previous masters you earned from the US was more of course/project based and thus does not qualify you for a Phd program since your long term goal is to become a lecturer). Go further by rationally explaining to the visa officer that the current 2 years masters which you're opting for at this point in your career is intensely research focused, and will qualify you for, and be a foundation for a related PhD program in the near future. 3-) Having funding doesn't in anyway help your application. You still have to satisfy that you meet the necessary three (3) Canadian immigration requirements for issuance of a study Visa. These three (3) criterions includes; i) Proof of financial sufficiency (you need to also include your SOA, irrespective of the fact that you've funding). ii) Reasons for your planned studies in Canada (this is where your SOP comes in play, the correlation between your previous masters, your current job role and intended program). iii) Your family ties in Nigeria that will compel your departure after studies (spouse, kids, landed property, buildings, investment/shares in banks etc). Note; Applicants who had full funding from potential supervisors were rejected of their visas. So funding doesn't guarantee your Visa approval. Contact a knowledgeable guru on this thread to assist you with your application so as to avoid any mistakes/errors. 4-) Read through my past posts on this thread and follow this link for the LIST OF DOCUMENTS FOR A SUCCESSFUL CANADA STUDY VISA APPLICATION: . I hope this information helps. It will end in praises |
Iphiegrace:You've to exercise a little bit patience until 90 days before you can undergo your biometrics. |
JCXpert:I received your request, I will respond at my own pace boss. Thanks It will end in praises. |
Cboss:Use www.ilovepdf.com - Extreme Compression (Less Quality). It might look blur, however that's the available option for you at the moment. The visa officers have their ways of viewing these documents and making it clearer from their end. So many applicants have used this less quality option and still were approved of their visas. It will end in praises |
vanessa969:Go ahead and send the updated admission letter to THE NAIROBI WEB FORM or email Nairobi office via this email nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca and it will be appended on your ongoing application. If any other document is required during the process, you will be contacted to provide them.. It will end in praises. |
geosolomac:Tuition receipt should be uploaded in the PROOF OF MEANS OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT. It will end in praises |
Maprince4:No it doesn't have any effect on your ongoing visa processing as the Canadian embassy (IRCC) has assured prospective applicants that applications made during this pandemic moment will not be refused for non-compliance for any requested documents from their office. It will end in praises |
hamzat55:Sadly a negative decision will be reached on the remaining applications, since the PA is already affected. |
Iphiegrace:You DON'T need to undergo a fresh biometrics as your previous biometrics enrollment is valid for ten (10) decade i.e 2024. The Canadian embassy started processing your application 24hrs after you had submitted your application. I believe you got an email during this time that stated you've an update in your application, and when you logged in, you couldn't see any changes made on your profile. This is called a ghost update and a sign that your application process had just begun. Keep the hope alive. It will end in praises. |
Dfazz:Request Acknowledged! I'll revert back to you with my reviews. It will end in praises |
Cboss:You DON'T have to sign the IMM forms, after the successful uploading of files into their various sections, you will be prompted to use your full name as written on your passport to electronic sign and transmit your application. It will end in praises. |
Awilibogy:You're at the right place.... Check Centennial College for their diploma programs. They offer tuition free applications for international students. Meanwhile, you can't find any application free schools for an undergraduate program (BSc) to be precise. It will end in praises. |
Olayinkaji:The SOA is meant to be submitted alongside with other supporting documents. You DON'T forward SOA to the embassy at the time of application submission. You only do so if they requested for it during the time of processing your application. More importantly, SOA is valid for a month, so make every move to be sure your application is submitted within a month of having printed the SOA. I hope this information is clear enough. It will end in praises. |
austinelex:Submit your application and hope for the best. The process might turn out to favour you even if the visa officers at the Canadian embassy are strict when scrutinizing Nigerian applications. In the end, pray for grace. It will end in praises. |
Pseermuhel:You went through the paper route. You will have to wait until the COVID-19 pandemic virus has completely reduced/is no more before you can have your passport back. Accept my congratulations by faith. Keep the house posted on the outcome of your application. It will end in praises. |
hamzat55:What type of immigration program did they apply for? Sadly, when the principal applicant (PA) application is already refused, the rest of the accompanying dependants will also be automatically refused based on same ground. Keep the house posted on the outcome of the rest of application. |
cannymustgo20:You're at the right place.... However, it is important to know that you can't secure a master's program with a HND certification. Your best bet is opting for a post graduate diploma/certificate (PGD/C). Please don't make the mistake of applying and wasting your hard earned application fees to any of the Universities in Canada for a masters program. It will end in praises. |
ptoall1000:Proceed with your plans boss, check for designated institutions in Canada that offers a program related to your core area in the last few years. Along the line, if you need further assistance, don't hesitate to ask questions here and we will be happy to advise you appropriately. It will end in praises. |
Pseermuhel:Send an email to the Kenya, Nairobi immigration office requesting for the status/update on your application and asking if they require any further documents from you that could expedite the processing of your Visa. Don't forget to mention that your application for a study permit has exceeded the standard processing times for Nigerian applicants. Furthermore, even if your application is approved now, you will also face delay in passport submission as the VFS office is currently lockdown until further notice. It will end in praises. |
Crystalheart:You can start an another application on the previous account. It will end in praises |
guitarlife2:National Technical Certificate is an ordinary diploma in Nigeria, so applying with such certification in any of the Canadian institutions will either earn you a post secondary dipolma, advanced diploma program or a bachelor's degree program. It's possible to get direct internship in Canada whether you're a study permit holder or PR holder. Internship has got nothing to do with your present immigration status. If your program in Canada requires you undergo an internship prior to completion, then you're ought to do it. It will end in praises |
NwanyiOkpa:Only few in number received approval last week. However these set of people are currently facing difficulty in submission of their passport since VFS is lockdown until further notice. |
JCXpert:Yup, I'm present here. Can you share the GCMS note and the refusal reasons for your previous application. So we can pick it up from there. It will end in praises. |
oloreofe01:Have you undergone your biometrics enrollment? If yes, you should exercise a little bit patience until a final decision would be communicated to you. It will end in praises |
guitarlife2:It will be evaluated as Canadian diploma equivalency. |
Ilovemom:Admission into the University of Regina for a master's program takes about 3-4 months. If your application is within this standard processing times, you should keep all hope alive for a positive outcome. However, if your application has exceeded this stipulated period of time, I would advise you contact the graduate admission office for the current status of your application. It will end in praises. |
ptoall1000:What was your previous undergraduate studies and current employment status in your home country? This will determine the program you should be looking for. It will end in praises |
CreamRoyale:There are several applicants i know in this month of March that have received updates on their applications including refusals, medical request and passport request. It will end in praises |
Nuelgram:The starting balance of your sponsor's account doesn't really count. What matters the most is the inflow and outflow and the current available balance as at when the statement was printed. Hence, you can certainly print your dad's account statement by first week of April and apply for your Visa in same April. Endeavour to be sure that all i's are well dotted and all T's crossed in your application before applying. It will end in praises. |
