kolaaderin: My dear, there is no reason that would warrant a country's high commissioner to be abused and treated like a slave in this manner. An ambassador or high commissioner represents the sovereignty of a country. That's why their physical building is seen as foreign soil in diplomatic circle. And country's are not supposed to attack or subject foreign diplomats to such disgrace, rather they're deported. If Nigeria is a normal country with pride and dignity. The authorities would have summoned the Indonesian ambassador immediately and begin actions toward deporting him. Nigeria is indeed a shithole by every stretch of the word! 2 Likes |

Voy: Watching this video alone is agonizing and depressing. How on earth will a country decide to abuse another country's high commissioner in such a demeaning and disgraceful manner The Indonesians just treated him like he was some criminal or even a slave, because criminals are not even abused this way God forbid! 1 Like |

Hahaha, imagine beating up a whole diplomat and holding him in detention until he paid a ransom This sort of disgrace can only happen to shithole and failed countries like Nigeria. The brand called Nigeria is now a total disgrace no one wants to associate with and is being dragged in the mud globally. Last time it was Ghana seizing their consulate building and chasing its diplomats away disgracefully only to demolish the building later! Athletics representing Nigeria not only had their phones stolen by the government representatives but they had to wash their own kits after each event even when Puma is already supposed to be sponsoring them, just because the government representatives were grossly incompetent! Puma later had to withdraw its sponsorship of team Nigeria. I can go on to list several tales of woes about this unfortunate and useless country but space won't allow me. Anyone still supporting the continued existence of Nigeria is a fool of the first order. 13 Likes 2 Shares |

What a wawu Imagine such large scale massacres and destruction like savages during the dark ages yet no government intervention whatsoever! These fulanis are not supposed to live with modern humans, they actually belong to the stone age. If it were to be the fulanis at the receiving end, will El Rufai and his master in Abuja be quiet and asking for calm? Won't they have mobilized resources with the army and airforce deployed since to attack the aggressors? So in essence, these guys now use state resources for themselves alone! These are the bastards some fools want us to share a country with. |

CSTRR: You've been allover the thread saying rubbish. Man's basic necessities are food, clothing and shelter. That land in question was probably idle before he bought it. If he decides to use it to build houses that people will live in, how is that bad Mr Know All? FYI, people still clear bushes to make way for housing even in the most advanced nations! Stop hating unnecessarily, nobody stops you from buying your own land and using it for agriculture. There are still vast lands waiting for people to use for agriculture. horsepower102: Aba and Nnewi are the two cities that give me the biggest hope in our dream of having a prosperous and industrialized Biafra. These 2 cities are raw gold waiting to be harnessed but unfortunately, Nigerian factor has ensured they remain deplorable. There is no difference with the expertise and enterprising nature obtainable in Aba and Nnewi in terms of industrial scale production with what the Asians are doing. The only thing is that while the Asians have responsible government that has provided all the basic things like electricity, good roads, and an enabling environment for business to thrive, those in Nigeria are totally useless! Aba is a city that is sprawling with productivity going on in a large scale wherever you turn. Go to Bakassi area in Ariaria and you will marvel at the endless number of shops producing all kinds of footwears, bags, belts etc. You go to Kent/Azikiwe/Asa areas and you will see all manner of cloths from boxers, singlets, socks, bedspreads, suits, natives and even security uniforms and any manner of clothing you can think of. But the biggest problem is that everything is still mostly at the rudimentary levels with all man for himself and thousands of generators humming angrily. No government incentive or assistance whatsoever! These highly talented people make very little margins as profits which makes it almost impossible for them to muster enough resources to upgrade, so you see them struggling at same levels they were decades ago!! Aba has the capacity to chase Chinese products out of Subsaharan Africa if only they can enjoy government assistance! Same thing is happening in Nnewi, aside Innoson that is the poster boy of car manufacturing in this part of the world, there are many small and medium scale producers of motor spare parts in Nnewi. Just like in Aba, they too are not enjoying any government support. I laugh when people are talking about crude oil, even though Imo State has considerable amount of it. With cities like Aba and Nnewi, if fully optimized, Biafra will never lack anything! Aba and Nnewi are our best kept secrets waiting for refining!! 2 Likes |

horsepower102: Yes, I understand that hotels generate higher revenue, and on a daily basis too so sustaining diesel powered generator will be easy. However, that's why I'm advocating for the use of solar in the residential estate for powering lifts because they're a lot cheaper and easy to maintain. I personally use solar system both in my house and in the office. I have 12 panels at home that generate 1.8kw with 720alms battery cummulatively and it is enough to power virtually almost everything. Solar panels and battery have become a lot cheaper these days and I'm surprised when I see people using noisy generator and wasting money on expensive fuel. Though, I don't know the energy requirement that will power lifts but I believe that with 25 panels on the roof and industrial size batteries with 3000 alms capacity may be enough to power lift. Of course, any mechanical operation will require periodic maintenance but there is also emergency stair case. I have seen 5 and 6 storey buildings in Aba that uses only staircase 2 Likes |

horsepower102: No, electricity is not the problem, at least for any determined investor. Necessity is the mother of invention. When you're building such penthouse estate, your target is not low income earners but the middle class and rich! You build the high rise and put in place a solar powered plant with a back up generator. Solar has become increasingly cheap and I believe it is sustainable and has the capacity if large enough to power lifts. The problem is that investors aren't ambitious enough. Lifts used to be seen as something that can only be found in Lagos or Abuja but today many hotels in Owerri has lifts in them. Let someone start it today and see if other investors won't follow suit. 3 Likes |

Kudos horsepower for creating this thread, I see it becoming a thread that will serve as rallying point and help create awareness for this great investments. horsepower102: I get angry when I see bungalows or even duplexes being built in our cities for commercial estate development. Like seriously, can't these developers seek more funds from banks or any other investors and build at least mini high rise blocks of 10 stories or even 7? Our lands are good enough to support such structures unlike areas like Lagos and P.H that have lots of swamps and mangroves that will require expensive piling before construction. Again, lands are limited, particularly for our massive population! We really need to start giving this a serious thought. I know if any ambitious and futuristic thinking investor should start it others will definitely queue in. Cities like Enugu, Owerri and others in Igboland seriously needs such residential high rises and believe me, they will be a commercial success! 2 Likes |

Nigeria won't learn from what is happening in Ethiopia where a minority Tigray ethnic group is currently routing the Ethiopian army. No government can ever win a guerilla warfare against a determined people, not even superpowers. America and Soviet Union tried and failed miserably! Ethiopia is currently being humiliated as we speak by a ragtag militia! Call for dialogue now before it's too late. These guys may soon take the militia armed route against the Nigerian state and if you think that using terror against civilian population will be enough to force them into surrendering then you all mistaken. Ethiopia has used terror and famine to scare the local Tigray population but it obviously didn't work! Nigeria is living on borrowed time!!! |

PortHardcore: Lol, people evolve differently and factors like environmental, climatic, topography abd accessibility with other progressive regions played their roles too during ancient civilizations. However, archeological findings already prove that Igbos had a relatively advanced civilzation too. About the second picture, if you understand what is involved in car production/manufacturing you won't be showing that car and claiming it was produced by that man. He probably only configured it. Or did he also produce the parts, interior and exterior? Coupling and configuring to your taste is quite different from actual car production. How many indigenous car producers in Africa are better than Innoson? |

Getting guns, artillery and armoured cars from Britain, fighter jets from Russia, pilots from Egypt, large number of mercenaries from Chad and the support of most Nigerians yet your military ended up suffering humiliating defeats in many battles and out of desperation had to resort to blockade, is the height of stupidity and gross cowardice. Read about Abagana ambush, Niger River crossings at Onitsha etc and see how your army were thoroughly humiliated and destroyed despite the Armada of war equipment they have. adebayo987: Sorry, but this is nothing but fowl brain thinking! Nigeria can and will eventually divide, and there is nothing China can do about it. China may have become strong and prosperous but its influence in global politics is still very limited. Those that have critical roles to play in Nigeria's break-up are US, UN and EU/UK. Should things get out of hand in Nigeria, and a war or conflagration becomes imminent with its disastrous consequences on Africa and Europe in terms of refugee problems and other humanitarian issues that will arise, which would affect both continents drastically, that is when they will wade in. Believe me, they have all it takes to intimidate any president into accepting referendum if that's the only way to avert the upheavals and China won't do anything about it. Is this the first time a lender country will be losing their money to a debtor country? Even the Paris Club decided to write off Nigeria's huge debts during Obasanjo era so why do you think that a vastly rich country like China won't do likewise if the situation calls for it? |

Alioune: Between the two of us, who is actually using propaganda? When you equate self determination to civil war, is that not propaganda? How is calling for referendum amount to calling for war? What sort of primitive mindset is that? Your second paragraph is another ridiculous claims, you say that Nigerians want to see peace yet you want the status quo to remain? Now, ask yourself, which part of Nigeria has peace at the moment? Is it NE, NW, MB, SE, SW or where exactly? Nigeria is currently recording more deaths on a weekly and monthly basis than even war torn countries like Syria, Afghanistan, and South Sudan!! Stop lying to yourself please by asking Igbos to return to their homeland. The last time Igbos all returned to their homeland, you all still brought war to their doorstep. If you're honest and enlightened, you should be demanding for a referendum. Then if Igbos vote to leave Nigeria it is now left for you to pass laws against them in your country and they can also do same against you in their own country. |

http://saharareporters.com/2021/08/05/kano-elders-ask-court-compel-nigerias-senate-president-attorney-general-malami-others Kano elders yesterday demanding that the Senate should allow Igbos to go. Expect more of such groups to make similar demands in the near future. These guys have realized the futility of trying to force Igbos into remaining a part of Nigeria. So they're desperately trying to cut their losses by ensuring that only Igbos are allowed to go. They understand the danger of allowing the agitations by IPOB and other separatists to continue, seeing how it's galvanizing others into action. Worse still, there is now mass discontent and frustration with Nigeria. Any little disagreement now leads to loss of lives and massive destruction of properties. A good example is what happened yesterday in Ibese, Ogun state. A minor disagreement between okada riders and union turned into an ethnic fight between Yorubas and Hausas, and resulted in the death of 7 persons and burning of many Dangote trucks. |

However, same can't be said of Northern minorities who are under the control of Hausa and Fulanis. That should rather be your concern, the nightmare of being stuck with your nemesis when Igbos and Yorubas leave. Ovamboland: The liberation army that invaded Midwest was actually headed for Lagos and it was under a yoruba man called Victor Banjo. The plan was to liberate Midwest and then West. Did Biafra bomb civilian areas in other parts of Nigeria? Was it not only military assets that were targeted the few times Biafran airforce entered Nigeria's airspace? Do you want to compare that to Nigeria giving instructions to Egyptian pilots to be bombing markets, schools and hospitals and people's homes? Do you want to compare it to massacres of Igbo communities by Nigerian army? A war is supposed to be between opposing armies but you guys used it as an excuse to wipe out Igbos with foreign backing. Nobody said Nigeria should supply Biafra anything but when you blockade an area you want to return as compatriots against any form of imports including drugs and foods for millions of starving children, women and men then it's absolute evil of Nazi Germany proportions! Humanitarian agencies with human kindness had to risk everything to smuggle in food and drugs yet your evil government was busy shooting down their planes! You all have a special place in hell. |

Ovamboland: Has Igbos ever claimed anybody's land before or ever fought anyone in their lands? Yet your hate is making you call them out but Fulanis that continue to kill, maim and destroy on other people's lands are the good people, very typical of you as a yoruba man. Did Igbos call Kano or Jos No man's land? So what's your point? Continue chasing shadows. North has ruled Nigeria for donkey years but did it stop them from being the most miserable place on earth today? Obasanjo ruled for 8 years, can you tell me how he changed your lives as yorubas? Goodluck Jonathan ruled for 6 years, what did he do for the Ijaws or SS? So you think it's about who is president? That's why Igbos are wiser than you, we don't care about the presidency of Nigeria because it's utterly useless in the grand scheme of things. At the part in bold, you have finally shown your true colour, what wrong did IPOB commit by protesting but you all were insulting them and wishing death on them all these years. You also did same to ESN that was formed to protect Igbo farmers in the rural areas. Continue fooling around, it will eventually get to you. |
