Wow, I'm loving these protests coolcool
You can't intimidate Igbos into submission because we are too many, too resourceful, too connected and too educated to be subduied by a tribe that is globally recognized as the world's poverty capital and has the worst developmental indices.

I pity the fossil that wants to be the modern day othman Dan fodio. Let him travel on his sick leave again and see if he won't have protesters following him about and disgracing him.

Politics / Re: You Are Dreaming, South South Can’t Be Part Of Biafra – Edwin Clark Tells IPOB by FreeIgbos: 6:04am On Jul 20, 2021
kennyify88:
[s]Elder statesman, Edwin Clark, has said that the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, is dreaming by including the South South states in map of Biafra.

The Nnamdi Kanu-led IPOB is agitating to break out the Old Eastern region from Nigeria to form Biafra Republic.

And Clark, who spoke in an interview with BBC Pidgin, said the IPOB is very unrealistic in their quest to break the South South and South East out of Nigeria, adding, “To me, IPOB is not pursuing the right thing.”

However, Clark maintained that Nnamdi Kanu is fighting a good fight, adding that the people of the South East are being neglected in Nigeria.

Clark explained that South East only has five states, whereas other regions in the country have six and seven respectively, “Based on what? Nobody knows.”

“For every appointment that is being made in this country, the Igbo are shortchanged.

If Universities are being distributed per state, they will have five. Others will have six while North-West will have seven. This is despite the Igbo forming the third leg when this country was created.

“So, they have a good complaint, but going about it wrongly.”
Speaking further, he said,

“How can Delta be part of Biafra? In what way? Is Biafra older or bigger than Delta?

“How can Rivers State or Akwa Ibom become part of Biafra?

They are dreaming for still thinking about the Eastern Region of those days.”[/s]

Old man still talking rubbish. So, Edwin Clark thinks he can speak for everyone in the so-called SS including Igbos there but Nnamdi Kanu can't? If the old Eastern region boundary can't be used then why does he think that a new one that will comprise of all Igbos in SE and SS can't be used?

Edwin Clark, you can only speak for your Delta State Ijaws, but you will be foolish to also think you can speak for Delta Igbos or Rivers Igbos.

Politics / Re: Obi cubana: We The Igbos Apologise To Nigerians For His Display Of Wealth by FreeIgbos: 4:27pm On Jul 19, 2021
Lol, what some gullible Igbos are not understanding is that your enemies are envious and jealous. It is an open secret that Igbos have the largest number of wealthy people per capita unlike in the North where only a minute fraction controls the wealth while the overwhelming majority languish in biting poverty.

Currently, Nigeria is facing severe economic hardship yet the Igbos they love to hate gathered their people both rich and poor, and where throwing bundles of money around for everyone to grab!!

If it is not witchcraft and undiluted envy, tell me why a burial that had both the rich and poor in one place, where the rich shared money to the poor became something to be condemned. Many struggling people got enough money to pay rents, buy food or even establish business because of that burial.

Bastards are not happy that Igbos are prospering, love themselves and seem to be relatively better off.

Lolz, this is the beginning of the end. So they've graduated to shooting down airforce jets shocked shocked

No wahala Sha, Niger Delta oil money will be used to replace it ASAP.

But I want Southern slaves to pause for a moment and imagine this jet was short down in the East, West or Niger Delta by any Southern group. By now, body bags of the innocent villagers where it happened would be piling up while the entire community will be blockaded and starved. But you fools won't ask why same treatment won't be meted out to that Zamfara community where this outrageous crime happened. Why? Because they see you all as conquered slaves!!!

The Resistance is now stronger than before

I'm not talking about Biafran agitators or IPOB, of course the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu was devastating initially but they're gradually bouncing back getting their mojo back. However, I'm referring to other Southerners, particularly Yorubas, Igbo politicians, and some Niger Delta minorities who were riding on the back of Nnamdi Kanu and his group to be putting up some elements of resistance. They were using the buffer to be making noise but the moment MNK was no longer there, they all disappeared like smoke.

Sunday Igboho is now on the run, militants are now being used to destroy each other while at the same time, crazy bills are being passed and the North that was begging is now issuing threats on how another Northerner will succeed Buhari.

Instead of the gutless fools to understand that Nnamdi Kanu is the general who is leading them in confronting an evil behemoth instead they will join the enemies in attacking him.

Why didn't the government arrest Sunday Igboho or go after him while Nnamdi Kanu was still attacking the foundations of Nigeria with facts and truths?

Why did they keep quiet only to go on the onslaught immediately Nnamdi Kanu is no longer available to give it to them hot and expose their shenanigans?

Why is Southerners now acting timidly and passive while Fulanis are now issuing threats and bullying everyone?

Mark it today that the presidency will remain in the North after Buhari because they no longer see any threats.

Politics / Southerners Are Myopic: MNK Was Arrested & Growing Southern Resistance Collapsed by FreeIgbos: 9:50am On Jul 19, 2021
I have never seen a group of people that are so myopic, senseless, unreasonable, thoughtless and shortsighted like the ethnicities that make up the areas known as Southern Nigeria. These people are so unbelievably timid and suffering from gross Stockholm syndrome!

Any observer who watches how most Yorubas of SW, many minorities of SS and few Igbos of SE joined Hausa/Fulani owners of Nigeria to be attacking Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB would assume that they're responsible for all the woes bedeviling Nigeria. But in reality, they were risking all to be challenging an evil status quo that has not only ensured we keep going in circles but now have our very existence under serious threat.

Nnamdi Kanu has remained consistent, even at great risks to himself and those of others in his group in challenging the Nigerian state. Naturally, those benefiting from the terrible status quo saw him as a threat to their choke hold on us and the pillaging of our resources for the exclusive enjoyment of their immediate families, friends and cronies. So, they became desperate in looking for ways to bring Nnamdi Kanu down. What baffled me beyond every reasonable thought was why on earth other Southerners who are being exploited, cheated, harrassed, intimidated and all would also join in the crusade to bring Nnamdi Kanu down by all means necessary.

Because of Nnamdi Kanu's attacks on the evil system being operated in Nigeria at the detriment of the peace and progress of the South and even the Middle Belt, Southerners began to get bold in questioning why lots of crazy things were happening in Nigeria with little or nothing done to stop it. For the first time in a long while, the South began to look eyeballs to eyeballs with the North. People like Sunday Igboho started rising and Southern governors started issuing threats and making emphatic demands. However, now that Nnamdi Kanu has been arrested, any careful observer can see that all those resistance that was growing has collapsed like a pack of badly arranged cards!

Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB group was and still is, a massive buffer protecting the South's interest at great risks to themselves but just like the Jews who shouted 'kill Jesus' (who was actually their savior who didn't nothing wrong to them) and release Barabass (a condemned criminal), Southerners kept shooting at themselves and now they've committed suicide cry cry

Have you all now seen how Fulanis are all over the place issuing threats, giving ultimatum and making press releases about how the presidency would remain in the North yet Southerners would only complain in hushed tones?

Have you all seen how 30% was tactically given to the North without a single oil well yet only 3% was given to the oil producing region. Worse still, they also smuggled in Northern states to enjoy the same 3% with them in the name of pipelines crossing their states shocked shocked

Southerners behave like gutless cowards, irredeemable fools, and thoughtless zombies under a spell.

You all will suffer for 600 years for being so senseless undecided undecided

Politics / Re: For The Igbos To Cede 2023 Presidency To The Yorubas. by FreeIgbos: 12:39pm On Jul 17, 2021
obiekunie01:
[s]The Igbos and Yorubas are always at a logger head on political issues. We seem never to agree.

Now 2023 is fast approaching and there is still serious divisions in the south especially if one look at the Yoruba supposed candidate which the Igbos don't accept at all.

After much thought on the 2023 presidency, it seems the south will lose again to the North if we don't shed our differences and present a united front.

For the South not to lose to the North, the only option is for the south to present candidates that will be accepted by the entire south and possibly North.

As an Igbo man, we are known for our peaceful approach to issues and based on that, I wish to table this suggestions and hope it finds root among the southerners and some North.

PRESIDENCY: For Ndi Igbo to support a Yoruba presidency come 2023, then they must present Rotimi Akeredolu to vie for the office of the President and Babagana Umar Zulum as his vice president.

SENATE PRESIDENT: The Senate President must be an Igbo man from the 5 eastern state and must be the person of Eyinnaya Abaribe . Also, the Speaker of the House of Representative must also be an Igbo man from the 5 Igbo states.

CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF: The Chief of Army Staff must be an Igbo man from the 5 Igbo states - if there is none qualified for the post, an Igbo man from other ranks must be promoted to the position (Baba Bubu has shown us that everything is possible).

CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF: Can be from from the middle belt region but preferably a TIV man.

CHIEF OF AIRSTAFF: Can be from any State from the Middle belt but especially from Kaduna South - must be a Christian

CHIEF OF NAVAL STAFF: Must be from South-South especially Akwa-Ibom or Rivers

NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER: Must be from any of Yoruba States especially Ondo

ARTONEY GENERAL: Must be an Igbo man from any of the 5 Igbo States.

CHIEF JUSTICE: Must be an Igbo man from the 5 Igbo states.

SECRETARY TO THE GOVT: Can be Yoruba man

MINISTRY OF INTERIOR, MINSTRY OF WORKS, MINISTRY OF FINANCE: MUST BE AN IGBO MAN FROM THE 5 IGBO STATES.

CUSTOMS: MUST BE HEADED BY AN IGBO MAN FROM THE 5 IGBO STATES.

FCT MINITER: Maybe an Igbo man or a Gbagi man for the first time.

INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE: Must be an Igbo man or woman from the 5 Igbo states.

IN ALL THE STATED POSITIONS, IF NO ONE FROM THE 5 IGBO STATES IS QUALIFIED, THEN ANY IGBO MAN CAN BE PROMOTED TO THE RANKS - REF: BUHARI 2015 - 2023.

With the above stated conditions fully agreed and accorded all legal backings by the two tribes, the Igbos will cede their 2023 presidential ambition and support the Yoruba - otherwise, then the reverse will be the case and the Yorubas will promise to support any one the Igbos present to view for the Presidency and the Yorubas will take the listed Igbo positions under an Igbo Presidency.

This is fair enough in my view. What do you think?[/s]

Will you stop making a fool of yourself?! You just woke up in your small room and started writing trash on behalf of 40 million people?? What sent you? What sort of madness is that?

I just saw this picture of Wike and Obi Cubana and it got me thinking again of what could have been if Ikwere didn't start denying their Igbo identity.

I'm from Enugu but we all in igboland know and appreciate how successful Anambra business men and women are.
People like
Arthur Eze, Innosson, Ibeto, and younger monies like Obi Cubana, Emoney, Jowizaza etc remind us all how far Anambra has come since 1970 when they got 20 pounds like the rest of Igbos.

Also,
With oil money which Rivers state commands and with political power in Rivers state firmly in the hands of the Igbo subgroups, the Ikwere could have been in competition of wealth with the Anambra and imo state elite.
Igbo society weddings and burials could have been taking place every weekend in port Harcourt if they were integrated with the rest of Igbo nation
The swag of being Igbo would have placed Ikwere and the Igbos of Rivers state in the national limelight like it does for the Anambra group.

Port Harcourt could have been the Lagos of Igbos because of the port and oil....and Lagos would not have the high number of Igbos it has today.

What Igbos lost in 1970 still gives me pains. Ikwere officially left the Igbo ethnic nationality in 1979 and took with them some other Igbo groups carved into Rivers. They all are now playing creek, isolated politics and living that creek, isolated culture and only identify as Igbos when it suits them individually.

You're right, however they should go to hell. Like they say pride goes before a fall. We lost a war in 1970 and they found oil in large quantities same period which made them to conclude that they've arrived while we SE Igbos are finished. Now, over 50 years later, what is the scores? Are they better off in any way? No!! The windfall they expected never came for them instead outsiders outsmarted and outmaneuvered them. Today, oil era is almost over yet they're still in a sorry state.

We Igbos have nothing to do with them, so they should stay on their own and remain in obscurity.

Anyone with an above average IQ knows that this is 100% fake news!

1. How will ESN kidnapp someone, tag him sabotuer and then broadcast it all over the social media that they're going to kill him shocked shocked Is it to make people to fear them, respect them or for the international community to see them as terrorists? What will they gain?

2. Igboland is densely populated and open region and it will be very difficult to kidnap someone and publicise it this way without being hunted down and arrested. SE is not remote like NE where people can be taken to inaccessible places and kept hidden.

3. So with all the NIN and others, the facebook accounts or phone number of those that posted it can't be traced or what?

4. They claim the policeman in question if from Akwa Ibom yet those commenting and saying they're related to him has names of Yorubas and Igbos, how come?

5 Since he is Akwa Ibom, i.e. Ibibio, how is he a saboteur considering he is not an Igbo man? Don't you guys see what the mischief makers are trying to do by knocking our heads together?

Lastly, when it was reported by the Nation that this evil government has budgeted billions of naira to be used in propaganda against IPOB, some people thought it was a joke. But unfortunately for them, they're still not smart enough to pull it off intelligently.

Igboland and Nile Delta in Egypt have always been the most densely populated regions of Africa even prior to colonialists era. Egypt is the second most populated country in Africa yet most of its population is in the Nile Delta while the rest of the country, particularly the arid/desert parts are barren.
