You mean south east contributed 27% of revenue and south west contributed 3% ?
Obamaofusa:
All what you stated here are a bunch of trash.
Think deeply and look around and you will know that the North will not allow Nigeria to grow.It is very glaring.

In every society there are challenges which the new nations will face but they will eventually overcome them and I am sure that Yoruba nation and Igbo nation will grow exponentially.
Yoruba nation will be the most developed nation in African competing favourably with the industrialised nations of the world.

We have thought it out and separation is the best option not even restructuring .

CAN YOU OPPOSE THESE.....

LET'S SET RECORDS STRAIGHT

Out of the total of 360 House of Reps members, the entire South has 169, while the North has 191.
Here is the breakdown:

South East
Imo 10 Reps
Abia 8 Reps
Ebonyi 6 Reps
Anambra 11 Reps
Enugu 8 Reps Total= 43.

South South
Akwa Ibom 10 Reps
Bayelsa 5 Reps
Cross River 8 Reps
Delta 10 Reps
Edo 9 Reps
Rivers 13 Reps Total= 55 Reps.

SOUTHEAST & SOUTHSOUTH GRAND TOTAL =98 only.

South West
Ekiti 6 Reps
Lagos 24 Reps
Ogun 9 Reps
Ondo 9 Reps
Oyo 14 Reps
Osun 9 Reps Total = 71 Reps.

North West
Kano 24 Reps
Kaduna 16 Reps
Jigawa 11 Reps
Katsina 15 reps
Kebbi 8 Reps
Sokoto 11 Reps
Zamfara 7 Reps Total = 92 Reps.

North East
Adamawa 8 Reps
Bauchi 12 Reps
Borno 10 reps
Gombe 6 Reps
Taraba 6 Reps
Yobe 6 Reps Total = 48 Reps.

North Central
Benue 11 Reps
Kogi 9 Reps
Kwara 6 Reps
Nassarawa 5 Reps
Plateau 8 Reps
Niger 10 Reps Total = 49 Reps.

FCT 2 Reps.

GRAND TOTAL OF THE NORTH =191
The question is, how dare you upstage this people in a vote?
Even if Southeast, South-south and Southwest joined together cannot upstage the North.

More facts coming...

INJUSTICE OF OIL ALLOCATION IN NIGERIA (1)

North Central receives 20%;
CONTRIBUTES 0.00%.
North East receives 16%;
CONTRIBUTES 0.00%.
North West receives 21%;
CONTRIBUTES 0.00%.
Every month, the 19 Northern states receive a minimum of 57% of 100% of oil revenue to which they CONTRIBUTE 0.00%.

South West receives 16%;
CONTRIBUTES 3.97%.

South East receives 11.00%;
CONTRIBUTES 25.07%.

South South receives 15.00%;
CONTRIBUTES 70.64%.

More facts...
LGAs in NIGERIA:
Nigeria has 774 LGAs.
The North has 19 states, and the 19 states have 419 LGAs.

The South has 17 states, and the 17 states have 357 LGAs.

Working with the data from the office of the Accountant General as published by the Ministry of Finance (2013 April), the 357 LGAs of the 17 southern states receive 45.1% of what they contribute is 100%.

The 419 LGAs of the 19 Northern states receive 54.9% of what they contribute is 0.00%.
So those hoping for a hopeless hope for restructuring should wake up. The north will Never allow restructuring because they know that they can't survive in a level playing ground.

Now you see that the north is seriously draining and stifling the development of the south?

One Nigeria is the biggest fraud ever and MUST end.

What the people of Nigeria need is a referendum to end this evil contraption called Nigeria and an emergence of the stifled nations within.

We CAN NOT be silent about it. He that is silent in the days of the adversity of the oppressed, is more guilty and has taken the side of the oppressor.

NB:

South West receives 16%;
CONTRIBUTES 3.97%.

South East receives 11.00%;
CONTRIBUTES 25.07%.

This is not true because SW even without Lagos contributes more than SE.
What the port in Lagos contributes only exponentially dwarfs whatever the SE contributes.All what Asari allegedly stated here are true and some false.

In their mind they're playing political game of divide to conquer. they thinks by dividing Yoruba along religion lines it will cause animosity between Christian and Muslim then it will be eazy for them to penetrate us by coopting the Christians to their side to help them achieve their evil hidden agenda.I must tell you its working already on some of our gullible and brainwashed youth's, they've joined the enemy within to castigates our elders/traditional leaders thinking their been outspoken and freeminded

PhonesRe: Why Do People Buy & Sell Old Social Media Accounts? by fregeneh(m): 5:10am On May 24, 2021
Thanks for your explanation I've learn one or two things
A305:
Majority of buyers are fraudsters who buy old accounts especially Facebook for fraud purpose. And the others buys for business advertisement purpose, basically old IG account with lots of followers.

-Business Purpose

Some online business traders especially those in eCommerce regularly need old (Facebook and Instagram) to advertise their business; sometimes though, FB suspend or terminate their account(s) for violation of term of service, so they buy old accounts to enable them pay for Ads to get their business seen online.

-Fraud Purpose

These fraudsters (Yahoo Yahoo boys), are constantly online (fb, IG and other dating sites) surfing to find their next vulnerable victim (client) to defraud. This process is called BOMBING. You cannot bomb a website vigorously without the AI not flagging the account for suspicious activity. When FB AI flags the account suspicious activity, the account gets suspended and terminated. But a yahoo boy never gives up, he considers buying another (old account) as investment to enable him CASH OUT one day.

These set of people (old account buyers) cannot register new account because new accounts are sensitive to odd patterns which quickly triggers the AI for flagging and termination, And not to mention, getting a new phone number to verify new account is almost time consuming so they rather buy another old account.

OK my distinguish professor, ba'rka de sa'rla

TAO11:
Yeah one can be creative like that. Just like “white board,” “snow,” etc. can be “likened” to “purity”.

But if we’re asking what the word actually says, then we must be honest enough (not creative) to admit that the name “Obatala” doesn’t by itself say that.

Its etymology is generally acclaimed to be “oba t’ ala”. IF that’s indeed the case, then we can’t simply discard some words, and unceremoniously reinterpret others.

In other words, we can’t simply ignore “oba,” and “ti,” as well as skip the primary fact that “ala” is equivalent to “white cloth”.

Cheers!
—————
PS:
Personally, I have my reservations for the widely held etymological derivation from “oba t’ ala”.

But the point is, IF this widely held derivation is indeed the case, then my foregoing comments stand true.

Peace!
CultureRe: Warri Succession Crisis: Oba Of Benin Wades In, Meets Ologbotsere by fregeneh(m): 2:26pm On May 13, 2021
One can likened white cloth to purity na.don't you think?

TAO11:
Hmmm!

Does that NOT sound like unceremoniously discarding the “Oba” and the “t’ “ ??

If we must, then that would beg the question of “why must we??”

Moreover, “White” (by itself) is equivalent to “funfun,” NOT “Obatala”.

Similarly, “Purity” (by itself) is equivalent to “mimo,” etc. NOT “Obatala”.

Cheers!
CultureRe: Warri Succession Crisis: Oba Of Benin Wades In, Meets Ologbotsere by fregeneh(m): 1:37pm On May 13, 2021
But if (ala)means white cloth in Yoruba and (ala)in obatala means white cloth also, then we can agree that obatala can also be interpreted as white or purity.

kiss
TAO11:
Anyways, I’m glad you’ve taken correction to most of the points I pointed out to you, especially your funny-cum-weird mention of backward entrance into the Ka’aba.

Oh really? I am ignorant of your imaginations of course.

First of all, the word is NOT àlá (“àlá” means “dream”). The word you’re aiming at is alá — and it is not a word that can not stand on its own. It is a prefix.

[Check your 1913 CMS’s Dictionary of Yoruba Language (which you attached) to confirm this free education I’m offering.]

Secondly, alá is a prefix equivalent to oní; and it means “one who has”).

This prefix is found in words like alá-àfin (“the one who has the palace”), while its equivalent would be oní-àfin (“the one who has the palace”).

Moreover, no Yoruba has Alá has a surname. Alá is not a word on its own. It is a prefix. Also, “Alá” is not the same as God, it is a prefix.

Alá would mean anything depending on the base that follows it. For example, alá-àìmọ̀ means “one who has ignorance”. Such does not describe God.

In sum, àlà (“white cloth”) is an entirely different word from alá (“one who has”), while each of these is entirely different from àlá (“dream”) . None of these words means God in any way, shape, or form.

The “ala” in Obatala does not mean “purity”. It means “white cloth”. Check out my attachment (the 1913 Dictionary of Yoruba Language) for the meaning of “purity”.

Lol. The screenshot you attached confirms everything I’ve said. Àlà means “white cloth”.

Your own screenshot (the first one which is a recognized Yoruba dictionary) confirms that I was right.

Your second screenshot, although meaningless, is also sourceless. The fact that it is typed, in pdf form, and screenshoted means nothing.

WesternOligarch:
It's bad if you carry along the ones that are incompetent, that I don't support....but Yorubaland is blessed with enough competent people(and this is factual) so why not pick among those competent ones and raise them. And what is killing nigeria is simply evolution....the British tried a blood transfusion in 1914 by injecting different blood types in a single body, do you know what happens when different blood types enter a single body? that's what's happening with Nigeria..... tribalism is just a symptom of the problem...liberals love to call it a "melting pot" of diversity, but it's actually the 21st century tower of babel on earth, a shit show in a dumpster deep in dante's inferno.

For the Yoruba's to be great libralism, political correctness and sentimental attitudes must die.......you can't be a liberal in Africa, liberal tribes die out, our ancestors didn't build empires by being liberal or politically correct simps.
I agree with you to some extent sir,but then isn't the act of carrying your tribe men/women along no matter whether they're competent or not. that those two tribes you mention above do what is killing Nigeria?

We have two words for some things in benin

Unlike the yorubas that have one word for a thing with different spellings

Coconut = evin new( benin)
Coconut = kokodia (old benin)

Ass= onisan
Ass ikebe

Child= omo
Owokan (small child, youngest child)

So basically child is omo which was loaned to the yorubas through benin military expansion
Its that omo/child that I'm asking you where did you foredadies get it from?

The Yoruba's don't just wake one day and started agitating one of sons contested for President and won the peaceful election in the history of Nigeria and it was annulled what did expect them to do? Don't forget Yoruba didn't just got to Nigeria in 93 they've been here all along and they did not disturb anybody.and for Jonathan it was the death of yar'adua that he benefited from nothing more, in the case of IBO nobody is stopping them from contesting in the nest election if the people of nigeria want they will vote for their candidate so why bullying, if you think by bulling presidency will be thrown at you then you're mistaken.

Tecno66:
Violence and threat appears to be the only language we understand as a people. The yorubas nearly turned the country upside down because of MKO issue, the who country agreed to compensate them with the presidency and so OBJ came on board. The Niger Delta militants did their own and that made it easy for Dr. Goodluck to be president. The boko haram started and Mr. Buhari started threatening everybody. For peace to reign, everyone hands off with all the allegation of suspicious credentials. Even the supreme court accommodated him. Now, the ibos appear to have found the trick and they are using it. How do you blame them? Even though it may be difficult, a lot of folks are already talking of igbo presidency if that is what will stop violence from that end.
