I have gotten many opportunities because I'm Yoruba. I've met powerful people because they knew Yorubas and thought they were smart.

Ex: Got a great job partly because my boss is a great Fela fan (he keeps wanting to learn Yoruba sef)

I didn't know Yoruba was so damn popular around here.

I thank all my Yoruba bros and sis who left great impressions with these people.

I feel superior because I'm Yoruba.

Nigeria does not sell as much.....sorry But I use it when someone talks good about Nigeria (which is rarely)

@Topic: OP,the issue is that,an average Nigerian basically believes that we are far ahead of any other African country: in reasoning; smartness; in human and natural resources, in wealth (economy-wise),etc.We believe our level of civilization is beyond the african continent.Therefore,they have nothing to learn from other African countries ; they have no reason to compete with other African countries...
