This move is commendable.
Lets pray he does something about it.
If only he reacts this way to other negative reports
about Nigeria, He would be a better President.

@poster. You would agree with me there's a big difference in reporting and coverage on this trip compared to he last trip. I could remember being offended seeing only 6 pictures for a trip covering over 500km.
Now I see a really entertaining coverage and reporting. welldone.

Did the op say he's a photo journalist...I can see jealousy oozing out from you post.

That poverty has eaten up your miserable life shouldn't give you the right to vent out your frustration on someone who's having fun.

This is a public forum, and everyone has a right to post whatever he wishes provided it doesn't go contrary to the rules of the forum.
Jealous of what? the thread? your name tells who you are, maybe the word f00l should be substituted for the Man.

Obviously you are, otherwise why are you here?

It's sad. In the West, no one cares what automobile you run, and attach no importance to them. It's only the likes of you that judge folk by the cars they drive. This is meant to be a fun thread - educative, entertaining with a twist. Helping a fellow citizen in times of need. But of course, you failed to grasp the very essence of this thread. Because your thought process doesn't extend that far. Talk about "narrowband!"

why must you you lay emphasis on the 605? trying to play goody goody.
You dont always need to read an extra meaning to simple statements.

Brother, you need to learn from spyder90 a fellow nairalander
what photo journalism is about. You spent the whole day traveling from Abuja to Enugu
and you have only 4 very uninteresting pictures to show for it. who's interested in seeing your 1993 Peugeot 605?

the problem is; the money would be allocated and shared by "friends of the President", no job will be done,No questions asked.
The same Bayelsa Airport coined "Yar'adua international Airport was commissioned 5-6 years ago with billions disbursed and the only thing done was the Airports Signboard. its currently covered by thick bushes.

Politics / Re: CAN Under Oritsejafor Is Religious Arm Of PDP — CPC by friedrice1: 10:58am On Nov 20, 2012
PapaBrowne:

I raise very salient points, you failed to respond to them. Rather you choose to "All muslims are not Boko Haram". For crying out loud, even a two month old baby should know that. Afterall Fashola is a Muslim and nobody thinks he is Boko Haram.

The point is simple. CPC has a coloration that shares similarities with Boko Haram. If there is anything they have in common, it is the fact that they hate Christians. I proved it by the words from their leaders.

But ask yourself. Why would a political party come out and be attacking CAN. Except the party is either very dumb or really doesn't want Christians in its fold. Seriously, this is beyond foolish from the CPC.
El Rufai attacks CAN. Then CPC comes out to attack CAN. Truth is CAN is an institution that would outlive Oritsejafor, but the attack on CAN would be used against CPC for ages to come. It is just a pity that a party that should be seeking to reduce its Islamic coloration would go on attacking Christians and somehow expect to win elections?? I dodnt get the stupidity!
Can you name a single CPC chieftain or member that has been arrested for being a member of Boko haram?

Politics / Re: North Demands Death Penalty For Corruption by friedrice1: 11:47am On Nov 14, 2012
HNosegbe: Death penalty for corruption... Nah, not the answer. Those northerners forgot to tell us that China is still a massively corrupt and unequal nation despite executing over 2,000 people last year.

What we need is to institute preventive measures and build strong institutions. How strong are our institutions? Have we created the enabling environment for genuine enterprise to thrive? Have we stopped the archaic practice of sharing "oyel" money every month? Have we begun to work on our value system and our mindsets as Nigerians? Have we begun to emphasise creativity over indolence and merit over nepotism? Have we begun to work on creating a culture that will make it possible for smart, intelligent, creative and honest people to thrive?

Until we begin to deal with societal problems from the source (rather than looking for quick fixes), we ain't going nowhere.
My brother, who would build the strong institution? Jonathan?
you should be aware by now that majority of Nigerians don't want Change.
