Politics / Re: Any Man Of God Against Buhari Is Fake – Interfaith Group by FrostyButter: 4:16pm On Oct 12, 2018
kingthreat:
When Goodluck was president, Oyedepo criticized the North using Boko Haram to destroy a Christian president's government. This christian president was a corrupt man
When Buhari came to power, Oyedepo has been a critic of his government. Always using killings by herdsmen as a cause to fuel his disgust. He's been marked saying "Must the North rule? "
Now in 2018, Oyedepo is in support of Atiku. The man who used the VP position to build a massive business empire for himself. He doesnt care if Atiku is outrageously corrupt. Whatever happened to his statement of "Must the North rule"

I do not know whom God is supporting. But one thing I know is that the democracy in Nigeria is a weak structure embedded in corruption and greed and cannot work. God is watching us trying to play God. When He chooses the right leader for us, we would KNOW.

And for the record I am a proud Christian and I will never attend Winners

You're last statement doesn't correlate at all with the above. Who cares about your faith or choice of church of worship. "Must the north continue to rule" is a statement almost all Nigerians have made, even you so stop have orgasm over it. By the way, Oyedepo is also a Northerner based on geographic analysis of his state. So what's your point. A man was called to mediate between two powerful people at logger heads, so he honored the invitation, or do you think it's you they would call?

If you have personal beef with Oyedepo, state it and beat your chest with pride, not this mumble jumbo you typed here.

TruthMafia:
Some Bishops claimed that no Fulani man will rule us Christians in Nigeria again that there is a Muslim agenda to Islamize Nigeria but the same Bishops are seen supporting another Fulani man to take over from the current Fulani man.

Can light and darkness go together?

What happened to other Christians aspiring to rule Nigeria?

#UnaMuMuNeverDo

Does it mean that God prefer another Fulani Muslim President to a Christian President?

Now I see why we have the richest Pastors in the world with poorest congregation.

Nigerians shine your eyes.
Most of our Religious Leaders lack the integrity to tell us who to vote for.

In your heart of hearts do you think those Christian aspirants have what it takes or are serious? Let's be realistic it's either going to be APC or PDP... What Oyedepo did there was to mediate between OBJ and Atiku, which is very normal. When I become successful tomorrow and called upon to mediate between two powerful people, I have no reason to refuse if it's to the interest of Nigerians. Let's not be clouded by social media and anger. You should take time to know Oyedepo, he is not what these kids on nairaland portray him to be. Take time to know people.

I don't understand,5,219 graduates? Across how many states?.. if CU produces 1000 graduates in a particular year, and by the following year, 500 are already employed. (50%).
And UNIBEN, in the same year sends out 10,000 graduates, and only 2,500 get employed within one year, (25%)..

Is the parameters for judgement the same? No,...

we all know, most private uni graduates get employment not necessarily because they are good, but because most of them are 'connected'.

Tell the researchers to take out CU from the list. or they should tell us how they come about their result. lets see the analysis.

Didn't you read his post? Have you seen any unemployed CU graduate. Have you interacted with them? I know a civil engineering firm in Lagos that would only employ CU students. I joke not.

Modified... Was just scrolling through twitter a few moments ago and saw this... I'm tell you CU is the future, stay on nairaland, don't leave your room and be bashing the school.

that's not what I said, the lack opportunity statement was in response to another statement which ignored the fact that women can choose to stay chaste cause of their discipline. you really misunderstood me and that's the actual problem I have, that you rushed to defend/attack a statement you didn't read properly.
smiley well it's good to know people can arrive at the same grounds on nairaland.

Then you didn't read my post properly, before you criticize a statement try and weigh the basis for the statement. A woman shouldn't be burden with such discussions in this day and age, discussions that ascribe to a certain gender rather than all are most times oppressive of that gender. If virginity is as great and we all say it is ask questions like, can a man keep his virginity till his wedding night. In my statement which I'm sure your didn't read before you rushed to respond I did say things like this should have no gender. thanks for coming to my Orientation do have a good day. I'm not one for online banter Biko.

LOL... Same... I just felt you tried to make the girl look silly by saying the topic was stupid and calling it lack of opportunity. No one in his right mind is trying to upress the female gender. Virginity is choice that should be respected. If you go through the thread, many guys spoke about how they have kept theirs as well, so no pressure on anyone.

Dear Inconsequential keypad warrior, my dear statement is Simple, Virginity is a great thing but why don't we preach to males to be virgins as well. why should we pressure only the feminine folk to be virgins. If you can't give an intelligent response to this then please don't bother. Read the instructions in my last post it still stands.

I'm all about preaching it to both genders. If a guy comes along and creates such a thread, hell, I would be happy about it. Even on this girls thread, many guys shows total support to it. Don't make this a gender thing. And your openings are getting very boring.

Dear inconsequential attention seeker/ keypad warrior, please read properly. And if you even bothered to read my diary and not judge it by its title maybe you'll be wiser.

She said her Opinion and I said mine and I stand by it, please learn how to have an intelligent conversations with people. I would have given you proper engagement but you're among those Nigerians who have nothing to say so they insult a person rather than critic the opinion. like I said earlier the best thing you'll be able to say to me is that I'm not a Virgin and that my darling is still inconsequential to me. now before you even respond to me, answer this questions,

Is my destiny tied to this amazing girl's(my) post?
don't I have a life apart from responding to this post?
Could responding to this post be my only source of true joy and happiness?
Is this post the cause of my problems?
Can this post increase my IQ?
Should this post be the base for my day?

If your answer to all this is Yes then I might find you worthy of further engagement.

If it's No and you still reply, I'll assume you're confused and not worthy of further engagement.

If you reply with an insulting statement I'll assume you're a child and not worthy of further engagement.

If you don't respond I'll assume you learnt a lot from my post and I've done a great service to humanity.

If you read till this point, I've come to the conclusion that I'm captivating and you lack a life, a real life.

You "stated your opinion" by bashing and insulting , and you talk about intelligent conversation. All this your epistles, and you managed to waste the beautiful letters of the English alphabets.

I did and apparently you're team virginity is lack of opportunity.

Don't kid your self. A lustful guy would sleep with anything. If you think like this, then it's very sad. I don't know what your beef with virgins are really... As virgin you stand everything to gain. I mean, everyone was once a virgin. Don't sour this thread with your sour past please.

How intact your hymen is.

Character isn't defined by virginity.

Some ladies may be virgins because their evil character has driven many away. grin grin cheesy

And yes. To me, virginity is overrated.

I know many non-virgins that got married and made good wives.

To each his own anyways.

Annoying thing is, na for this naija some ladies dey take this virginity too seriously. That's why many become bland on the bed during marriage

Nobody said character is defined by virginity. She asked a simple question and you derailed completely, preaching profanity.

In my opinion this is a stupid topic for any woman to be talking about, why doesn't anybody have this discussion about males. Females like you and your friend are the kind that place unnecessary pressure and value on something very irrelevant. Being a virgin shouldn't be a Woman thing, it would be an everybody thing if it's that great.

Darling have more progressive discussions and not the ones that knowingly or unknowingly judge women by their hymen.
Keeping her virginity till her wedding night my ahse. people should stay chaste for themselves, cause it benefits them, not as a gift to someone or for someone.

The best reply from y'all would be that I'm pained cause I'm not a Virgin, if it is do better.

Nope, don't be crude. It's not a stupid topic for any woman to talk about. And don't make it a gender issue, as you can see, even men are contributing positively to the thread. Funny that you clamor for progressive discussions and the only topic you have created on nairaland is "vagina chronicles".

I don't know who you're deceiving by trying to sound like a sage or one woke individual by bashing the poor girl cause she is shaking a table you're standing on. You could just stfu and continue reading comments, instead of chasing cheap likes from your kind.
