Somewhere in Sudan and Algeria, youths are standing for thier rights and the future of thier country......in Nigeria the lazy youths are defending an 80 something year old life less (Ancestor).
Even the real Ancestors ( Father's of Nigeria) are weeping for these youths in thier grave. No! Sai baba youths actually showed up, Atikulated youths on the other hand didn't show up on election day (Majority of them playing football). They are totally what we call e-warriors. |

I hate those people with passion, my elder brother got married to a girl from that tribe I made sure the marriage didn't work out, I Chase her out of the home Not assembled, it is built in Nigeria. The vehicle is/was made in Nigeria. Try to know the difference. Assembly means the vehicle have its oversea trademark, then the parts shipped down and assembled. The other is a local conglomerate and NG registered trademark name owned by a Nigerian. Even if he buys 100% of the parts from overseas, its still made in Nigeria. Thanks. |

[s] luckygeee: This is a portion of the Benin-Lagos road located at Ishihor Benin city directly opposite the Army school of Supply and transport S&T barracks Isihor. this bad road usually leaves many commuters stranded especially after a heavy downpour as many drivers will bluntly refuse to take that routes for fear that their buses would be damaged. many vehicles have been damaged in this portion of the road and only a brave few would dare to take that risk. Shops and business owners cited along the expressway have been made to count their losses as that road is inaccessible by customers. even the popular Megom bar and Osunpec filling station can only enjoy services during dry season and the latter has since closed its business.
DANGERS!!! Many drivers in other to avoid this bad and over flooded portion of the road have decided to take the ONE WAY route which has claimed the lives of many road users. even the soldiers in the barracks are guilty of taking this ONE WAY route that led to the death of a female UNIBEN student some years ago.
APPEAL!!! We therefore call on the Federal Government and the ministry of work to come to the aid of road users and make sure that a proper drainage system is constructed. we plead that enough life has been lost already and a lasting solution be carried out.
please lets make sure this appeal gets to front page so the neccessary agencies will be aware!!! [/s] Your headline is totally misleading. I left my house from Lagos to Owerri three weeks ago, my vehicle did not touch muddy ground until I got to Benin/Asaba bypass and also muddy ground at Upper Iweka Onitsha. Please stop deceiving so many people here. |

How did it happen? Why wsan't he having his helmet? How did his head get that close to the blade?
Where are the safety mechanism and training for such people to prevent such accidents.
I suggest that a serious investigation be carried out. In order to improve safety of persons working with or around such machines. Omo, helicopter blade will smash both helmet and the head. Seems you are underestimating that rotor. Secondly, accidents of such happen sadly. In US, a fighter pilot was sucked into a jet engine, will you also say no training? Dont you watch movies where those who highlight from chopper have to bend down? Even landing spot have to also be higher to make such accidents difficult but not everytime you land on higher grounds. |

Korllami007: You said buhari should set a good example. How is he going to do that when the system his using to fight corruption is corrupt, the people around him is corrupt, he himself is corrupt. Few weeks before the election efcc heard rumour that fayose is keeping atiku's money for election. They went to raid his house and they found nothing. Some days later, there was a video of bullion vans entering tinubu compound. Efcc became blind, deaf and dumb. I think this is kind of example you want Buhari to set. Munafikun (hypocrisy) example.
Some people are supporting onnoghen case even protested because they believe allegation against him is political undertoned which is true. Even if the allegation against him is true they won't be able to see it because Buhari has laid bad foundation for fighting corruption in his tenure. Since the beginning of Buhari's govt, Buhari has been witch hunting anyone that does not support his government using Efcc. Once someone from opposition party that has corruption case in court jump to apc, Efcc will immediately through his case into the river. Akpabio is a good example. That person become saint. I think this example you want him to set. Atiku was in apc from the start of Buhari's tenurebut he was never a thief. The moment he left apc for pdp he becomes thief. I think this is an example you want Buhari to set. (Hypocrisy)
I'm not supporting onnoghen I just detest hypocrisy. I don't know where you are getting at. I have told you that the point you are making is unrelated to my position on the subject. If you have issues with Buhari and or APC and their fight against curruption, you know where to take it to, I am not efcc or judge and you cannot sway me with petty propaganda and sentiments. I simply related my point to the CJN matter and how its a good precedence (specifically being subjective). Whether it was Buhari or GEJ or Yaradua, the point I was making is that IT IS ACTUALLY A GOOD PRECEDENT. Being that even after Buhari leaves office, issues like this can be inferred on and good judgement delivered based on this. Finally, show me any APC or PDP supporter that's not a hypocrite one way or another and I show you a flying horse. Thank you. |

Korllami007: Nigeria at large will take Buhari anti corruption fight serious when he start prosecuting kyari, tinubu bullion van, akpaboi, daura, kalu, obanikoro and investigate gandollar the way he did when fayose was still governor. If he can do all these, Nigerian at large will start taking him serious. for now his corruption fighting is nonsense and witch hunting to so many people. Those issues are by the way and have no bearing with my point.. .and I don't know why you guys keep making this defeatist comment. I only commented on a specific issue and do not have time to delve into an unrelated subject. Because, the more such issues are logically defended or explained, the accused/guilty will keep shifting the goal post. Judges for example, their kids are not innocent of certain crimes, pastors as well their kids aren't holy. I won't then go about telling a judge why are you sentencing me to jail when your son committed the same type of offence and go scot free. Its a political issue so let them kill themselves. I marvel at the way you guys defend this people as if they are orphans, no kids no family to defend them. This mans kids might be in UK/US while you guys are here wasting away time and MB defending either the govt or the opposition. Shame. |

Sterope: The president has set a bad precedent though. No, he actually set a good example. Look, no matter where I stand something does not seem right with the issue surrounding the embattled former CJ. Are you now emphasizing that any time I am taking to court I can plead not guilty simply because 'I forgot'? Afterall "oga judge sir, your overall Oga at the top also forgot".... so me too I forgot. What will happen to all public officers both present and future ones who will intentionally skip asset declarations with an intention that if cought they will say they 'fogot'? If road safety guys catch me due to expired documents, I should also tell them ' I forgot' and drive on? Or if I am caught with an unlicensed gun I should plead that I forgot to legalise it? Lets not get blinded by political affiliation but use common sense to judge situations like this because we are talking about the overall leader in the judiciary not even a random bloke on the street. If this issue was not known, its a different matter. But for the fact that it was in the open, then its unfortunate and have to face the consequences. Its as simple as that. |
