All this propaganda will not work.
2023 is a goal for Atiku Abubakar

I don’t think I have a problem with PDP or Atiku personally.
Everyone with their opinion though but after 8 years of disturbing the space with Fulani marginalization and dominance, herdsmen killing and so forth. I don’t see myself or anyone around me interested in queuing up to thumb print for Atiku (Same person who deleted a tweet about religious murder of Deborah?)

He might win but voter apathy will abound if both parties present Tinubu or Atiku as their flag bearer;
It will be a battle between illiterate Almajiri vs Southern Agbero.
Whoever wins, we lose.

Nothing like surprise, I am telling you for a fact that TINUBU is preferred than osinbajo not because he is better than osinbajo but because he is the only politician in APC as at today that can win a national election against atiku.

Tell me the influence of osinbajo in nigerian politics?

This is a man that can not even win his ward.

Politics / Re: Abubakar Atiku & Peter Obi In A Political Plot. by frowland(m): 2:33pm On Jun 01, 2022
MetaPhysical:
1. PDP Presidential aspirant Peter Obi attended the public announcement and supported Atiku to declare his Presidential ambition.

2. Just few days to PDP primary, aspirant Peter Obi stepped out of PDP Presidential primary and resigned membership.

3. Aspirant Atiku won PDP Presidential primary and was declared party flag bearer.

4. Peter Obi sent a congratulatory letter to Atiku.

5. Aspirant Obi crossed to Labor party. At its presidential primary another aspirant, Pat Utomi stepped down for Obi to win and become Labor party flag bearer.

Atiku has learnt from 2019 not to underestimate APC and its use of incumbent power to sweep opponents away. In particular, APC used cross-party alliance with SDP's Iyiola Omisore to edge Senator Adeleke out of gubernatorial victory in Osun.

SDP, Labor and APGA are strong in South.

Using strengths in Labor (his new party after PDP) and APGA (his old party before PDP), Obi can steer votes to Atiku and run him across the margins of victory should 2019 repeat itself.

Atiku is using one stone to kill two birds -
1. Dilute grass root politics in South so SDP does not become a formidable contender. Infact, SDP introduced Atiku to politics back in 1998.

He is using Obi to throw this kill. Hence Obi's actions lately.

2. Influence APC primary to nominate an underdog candidate.

APC Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu is from NE, same region with Atiku, and an ex-Chairman of PDP under Goodluck Jonathan, who is being wooed to cross from PDP into APC and enter primary race.

Now, Atiku must choose a Christian South for VP. He could end up calling Peter Obi to deputize for him, but he will not do so ahead of APC primary.

Net-Net, PDP is going for NE muslim/SE christian.

In other words Obi is a tool used by the Fulani northerner to retain power in the north

Why emphasis on Christian's votes in a secular country like Nigeria. This is number 1 reason his emergence as president will lead the country into state of anarchy and war.

So only Muslim northerners are allowed to chose extremist as our leaders? No region have a monopoly of madness.

eldoradoxx:
Not really so. Yemi Osinbanjo is surprisingly loved by the entire South over and above his former boss Tinubu and Rotimi Amechi ( regarded as a sell out). What the South needs is someone that can defeat Atiku in the entire south. The East and South South where PDP has its strongest base are not happy with how he bribed his way to get the ticket and are ready to vote APC in the next election (after all their arch enemy- Buhari is not running again). However these people would however prefer Atiku over Tinubu for obvious reasons; there is an unsettled enmity with Tinubu and Rotimi Amechi over their role in 2015 election, they cant just forgive these two men.
Osinbanjo however does not have the baggage of two men. He will also make serious in-road in Middle Belt- North Central where most non Hausa Fulani Northern minorities reside. This means that Osinbanjo can get West (his region), East, South South and North Central. If he takes someone like Zulum from the North East then he can slug it out with Atiku. So I give it to Osinbanjo

Same view.

I laugh at all of you shouting "Tinubu" cheesy grin

If you knew the population of Christians in the North, especially the North Central, plus the entire South: which is largely Christian dominated in at least 13 states, you would keep quiet.

We have: Ekiti, Ondo (majorly Christian states) in Yoruba land, the rest 4 are 50-50 at most, the SE is 99% Christian dominated and despite their preference for Obi, so many are willing to vote for Osinbajo, the SS is purely Christian, so what are you all saying?

Religion aside, a lot of educated, well-meaning and non-politically partisan Nigerians don't even believe in Tinubu due to his corruption-related antecedents and also because he is ailing.

Osinbajo is the surest bet for APC.

Well said. I don’t see how a Christian and non partisan Nigerian in the south will vote for Atiku ahead of Osibanjo.
Pair Osibanjo with an influential northerner and you see people who were initially indifferent about the election troop out to vote.

Lovely guy, far better than Thiefnibu.

But him as Candidate of APC will be a walkover for Atiku.

The North are just waiting for APC to make that mistake so that they can use his Pastor title as Propaganda to finish him, and without the support of the SE/SS to back him up, the elections will be so one sided.

The way you guys talk as if the north are everything.
2023 go and vote a fulani Muslim then.
They used Islamic extremist against Buhari and yet he won. What matters most is the number of states controlled by the party.
Election in that country is who rigs the most and you can only rig the state you control.

2.9billion - 500million = 2.4 BILLION NAIRA PROFIT.

The Fraudster went home with d 2.4billion naira profit.

The court simply got their own share of d loot (500million).

Let me explain something to u....

Assuming man earns 1million naira monthly, it will take such person 42 years to get that 500million.

How then do u expect him to pay d bail fee?

Anyways, little drops of water can someday, make an ocean.

Wait a minute, so he is guilty? What am I missing?

If I accuse you right now of stealing two iPhone, which is just an accusation! Will it be wise for the judge to grant you a bail with 2 or 3 iphone? Doesn't make sense!
While we suspect he stole that much, the law does not see it that way. After all, that is the democracy you all signed up for right?

I have stayed in Lagos and I served in Kano. I do not claim to know every nook and crany of both states. But I believe there are Nairalanders who know better. I am worried because I kept wondering why Kano state has 44 local governments and Lagos state 20. In addition, in my opinion, Lagos is far more populated than Kano but figures we have put both states at about the same population. Even at that, why would Kano have more than twice as much LGAs than Lagos.

Please, I need your objective opinions.

Population density might be the reason you feel Lagos is more crowded. You might be right though, figures up north are most likely not accurate.
