Ademola47: Dangote refinery is a private business, why does the president has to use public machinery to formally launch it?
NNPC (You and I) have an equity stake in it.
Secondly, if you as a private citizen build let's say a motherless home or a Mega Supermarket which contributes one way or another in the overall well being of the citizens, then you can get the attention of the Governor or a leader to commission it for you. You can also ask your Imam or Bishop or pastor to do the honor.
Tmberwolf1: Nope, the US is a member of the U.N Human Rights council, and there's a specific clause in the U.N that could force the US to intervene in cases of genocide.
All this UN member this and member that is just to force everyone into one government order spearheaded by the US. Well people with views like us are just passing through.
Tmberwolf1: Actually it does, this means that the US might have to intervene (possibly with military forces) against the Myanmar government.
Just like that? Please who made US a police or is it self appointed? Are you saying that Nigeria can also intervene and send military against Myanmar if they so wish? Am curious though.
I personally never in my life thought I would agree with Trump, but he's absolutely right.
The rebels they gave billions to chase Assad out of Syria are the present day ISIS. If it wasn't for Putin, Assad would have been history and Syria a desolate place like Libya and Iraq. CNN won't tell you this but they are all over the place about human right abuse in Ukraine. Hypocrisy of the century if you ask me.
Carolcitycartel: This is my traditional wedding list...to fulfill for my bride to be mine....This is Americandad...I deactivated my profile for certain reasons. Iv fulfilled the knocking on the door list
Front page pls
It is not a must to pay all that. The figures and quantity is just a formality. You submit what you have and the wedding will still go ahead.
iokpebholo: But naira currently selling for close to #600 to a dollar, diesel price almost 800,food price is totally unbearable for d common man and u still shouting APC abi??don't worry las las na suffer go kill u
Petrol is 2.8€ here in Germany from 1.8€ before the war started. Petrol @165 in 9ja, you guys are buying pure water down there to be honest.
To me it will be economically foolish to keep paying for subsidy. As a Nigerian living abroad, I still contribute in subsidy even though I am not there. A granny or farmer in the village contributes to fuel subsidy even though she/he drives bicycle.
I would rather subsidize education and give out student loans than wasting money on petrol subsidy.
Just that almost everyone in Nigeria needs petrol to either power their homes or business and this makes it unfortunate and confusing.
Penguin2: Ugwuanyi is a fat fool that took money sharing in politics to a whole new level and thus has nothing left to deliver anything in Enugu.
If not for the centre table he is building at T-Junction, nobody would have remembered that Ugwuanyi was governor of Enugu state.
If he was serious with leadership, there would have been flyover at Ogbete, Eke Obinagu, Mayor, Garrki and Texaco in Abakpa.
These would have solved the perennial traffic problems around those axis.
But stupid Ugwuanyi chose to share money to politicians and handed Enugu over to God’s hands.
He should do and get out and at this juncture, I would advise Ndi Enugu not to vote for whoever he will present before they will put themselves through another 8 years of disaster.
Enugu will vote for PDP so I don't know what you mean by "..not to vote for". Is it not anyone PDP throws at them they will accept? Imo and Anambra have strong competition during election unlike Abia and Enugu.
That's how the news is reported to deceive. The headline especially it described to make it look like China is crying. Believe headlines at your own peril.
dapadawee: The guy only made sense with a joke. Nothing more nothing less. Tecno, infinix and itel are phones that doesn't meet up with 3rd world standard except for west africa countries and other low thinking Africa countries you will never find those toys in egypt, south africa, morroco and any serious African nation that are serious with their lives. Those toys can never work in any euro or America space even india and pakistan
And we are here talking about the youths living within their means and all- Am not in anyway talking about the quality of the phones but the comment about users not being serious with life. That's not modest and if its a joke as you said, then was taken a too far.
Cantonese: EFCC can withhold and not confiscate his PP to stop him from traveling abroad in the interim, just in case there is an investigation against him. If that is done, he needs to go to court to secure its release.
No they can’t bro, they have no such power. Only court gives such order. All EFCC can do is arrest, charge him to court and the court determines the bail conditions and so forth.
Mercychen: Keep quiet! Stop saying what you don't know.
What do you mean by "a hotel in a place like VI"? Is hotel a beauty or fashion outfit? What has looks got to do with hospitality and hoteling?
I've worked in Federal palace and Eko Hotel respectively; all in VI and I know so many short guys and ladies working as receptionist in these hotels without discrimination of any kind.
My ex works in Chevron Hotels at Chevron drive lekki and he's average (though he calls himself short man). One of their receptionist is a shorty too. So what are trying to say?
You're also wrong to say someone should consider their body shape and type before going for certain jobs. Mehn! Like what law says that or its you who's just coming up with warped opinions?
Man fries out about the poor Safety system by truck owners as he spots an Anthony Truck in Lagos that was only tied with 1 belt and is about Falling off if the truck happens to either overspeed or bends slightly to the right
It depends on how the goods was balanced inside the container. Maybe something is in there that needed the Center of gravity to be pushed a bit out. Be that as it may, the view is quite frightening.
