Russian pride lies majorly on its nuclear capacity. Many NATO members are nuclear state too.
So, while an 'all out' nuclear battles between Russia and the US alone will most likely ends in a draw,
a full scale NATO invasion of Russian can still bring Russia to its knee but at Huge cost, not only to The
warring parties but to many countries accross the world. Putin himself knows as he was earlier
reported to say he is not fighting to win but to cause damages and destruction for any one that blocks
his way. NATO's indirect involment is no cowardice but a move to prevent escalation that leads to world war 3 for world peace.

And what are you gaining from Russia's victory? You support oppression of unarmed humans? I don't understand how some of you think. You support people dying? You like seeing children blown to pieces by shellers? You support Russia taking over Ukraine? You want war to continue and countries to keep taking territories whether it's justified or not? What gives you satisfaction in all these? It's a societal concern that most of the people we share a country with are not normal.

I noticed a lot of biased or uneducated/sentimental people are saying Putin invaded Ukraine for no reason. No explanations given, read up Cuban missile crises, the very reason for the United States enforcing a naval blockade of Cuba a SOVEREIGN nation and giving a count down to strike while bringing the entire universe to the brink of a nuclear conflict with the soviets, is the same reason for this war. No sentiments! Had premier Nikita not chosen diplomacy with Kennedy, the US would have decimated Cuba. So for the Hippocrates, tell us why zelensky has refused to be a neutral nation given thesame circumstances?

To my knowledge there isn't really any precedent since 1945 for a great power annexing another country to both gain land and intimidate another superpower...
Right now there's a spectrum for what what could happen..

On the one end Russia could invade and something could go horrifically wrong and we end up in a Europe wide NATO - Russia war. That would be disastrous to say the least.

In the middle of the spectrum is full sanctions and Russia becomes and economic pariah state. This however looks unlikely as only Britain and the US seem to see eye to eye in arguing for this outcome..
France and Germany seem a little bit less enthusiastic about this approach..
