So we now have a Fulani herdsmen on this forumhuh
Yes, they got here years before data and devices became common and affordable enough for palmwine tappers to discover it.

Its a mighty relief to know Mike Ozekhome is not a lost cause and still has some brain cells left.

I am still trying to reconcile how some people reasoned that it is possible to review a SUPREME Court judgment simply because they are butthurt at the courts decision.

Ironically, these same elements will gather and thoughtlessly call our darling President "undemocratic".

Wailing clowns cheesy

SLAP44:
What happened in Imo state is a rape of democracy. It proved that you don't even need to campaign, just wait and use the courts to subvert the wishes of the people.

Democracy is dead in Nigeria, just like every other sector.
You were silent when the same Tanko led Supreme Court gifted Zamfara to the PDP so kindly maintain that same silent energy and respect the rule of law. Shikenan.

No wonder una no dey gree go back grin
You are right on the money.

Our unity is our strength and their nightmare. The Hausa Fulani remain a significant political and military force that must be reckoned with. PMBs focus on agriculture, railways, dry ports etc is on track to also restore us to the economic powerhouse we once were pre-independence

Their mission is dead on arrival. Who God has blessed, no man can curse. cheesy

The conquered north!!
The backward north!!
The poverty capital north!!
Allow them to continue to draw consolation from statistics that are grossly at variance with reality.

Ignorance will not allow them reason that those stats are computed on a PER - CAPITA basis (obtained by dividing Nigeria's scarce resources by our much bigger population) which will always make the North appear poorer on paper.

Let them continue to gloat in ignorance wink

You are wrong sir,

Millions of Fulani people have settled in the cities ,they are not in isolation and in the process, they give their females to their host tribes in as much as the suitors are Muslims and substantial cultural assimilation has occurred.

My friend and colleague who served in the North and decided to settle in Kano ditched his Igbo fiancee to marry a Christian Fulani girl at a Catholic Church in Bompai,Kano.
Thumbs up. So many similar cases abound.

I really wonder where he got his assumptions from.

Fulanis lack leadership acumen. What leadership acumen does buhari have? Amina became UN Dp because of quota. And the quota goes to her because a Fulani man is president. I’ve never seen a race as dumb as the Fulani. People with leadership acumen would not be the poverty capital of the war. Tell me any organization populated by Fulani that is not in shambles. Is it the police, army or custom?
Is that why they keep politically outsmarting and dominating you?

Is that why they're the most dominant ethnic group on the Forbes list (BUA, Dangote)

Is that why they are militarily superior than your own group?

Is that why they've been creating wealth since the 19th century (Dantata n Co.) when you were still roaming the bushes and making dishes out of each other?

Whether you like or or not, the Hausa and Fulani are now so intertwined that we are one united people. It is your headache who rules whom the more. Our unity is our strength and your weakness & nemesis so it's no surprise you are suddenly so obsessed with the great Fulanis.

Your wails, our entertainment cool

I am talking from experience cos my wife is mixed with the dad fulani from Guinea n mum Nigeria. Even my fulani friend from Gambia told me its the culture among fulani everywhere that even his own dad never support stranger getting married to outsider but prefer male marrying outsider than female
But are you Fula yourself? Wasn't a Fulani daughter given to you in marriage?

Regardless, his disposition is a reflection of his orientation (conservative/"old school" ) as a cursory look at the modern Fulani culture shows significant evolution as can be seen lately in our events, dressing and lifestyles which are increasingly becoming more liberal.
May I say there is one heritage that fulani man do not compromise and that is not giving out their female in marriage to another ethnic group. This is what i know very very well. They are also very happy to be in seclusion from other group.
Fallacy. Lies from the belly of the devil.

My immediate family is a prime example. Is Ganduje's daughter not married to Ajimobi's son?

We also marry from other ethnic groups including southerners.

I wonder what hole you people pull your baseless assumptions from.

A typical Fulani man is a brilliant, intelligent creature, usually blessed with a natural leadership acumen. When educated, they tend to excel & dominate wherever they're found hence their exploits. You think Amina Mohammed is the UN Dep. Sec. Gen. just because she is Fulani or because of her track record of academic & professional excellence?

Save yourselves from this self consuming bigotry and hatred towards a great people and be useful to yourselves.

Onces you are muslem then we see yourself the same.in the north we have a lot of tribe not only Hausa Fulani almost about 100 tribe but we mostly spoke Hausa as our general language. Also, among this 100tribe onces you are muslem then we see ourselves one!

The OP's argument carries merit, there is no doubt about that.

The SW region will still be secured through the proposed force, only difference is it would be through a state, rather than a regional structure.

Do you know how many of these cheetah cats in your pic that herdsmen encounter and kill on a daily in the SW forests since their conquest?

It’s many bro, Amotekun is just a regular cat when faced with an AK47. It’s cat meat and Fulani eat it up as a delicacy whenever they see bush cats.

Why not choose lion? Why a small tiny cheetah?

Racoon:
The needless defence of the Fulani by Tinubu.By now, everyone would have noticed that the most strident defence of the Fulani over the herdsmen issue has come from southerners, particularly the Yoruba.

On the question of whether the Fulani deserve the stereotype of cold-blooded killers or not, the Yoruba people have wept louder than the bereaved....

Today, the Fulani are resented & not just because of the herdsmen issue but also because of the clannishness and tribalism of President Muhammadu Buhari who has more or less driven collective benefits in the direction of a selected class.

The same confused lot that use the other side of their putrid mouth to blame fellow southerner Osibanjo/SW of the same nepotism and clannishness simply because they've played themselves out of relevance.

Tinubu is a wise politician and he will continue to reap from his wisdom, unlike some other dumb, impulsive and politically clueless noisemakers in the South.

Politics › Rochas Okorocha: Igbos Cannot Make Presidency Alone by fulanimafia(op): 6:38am On Dec 07, 2019
Rochas Okorocha, the Imo West Senator has declared that the South East alone can’t make themselves President in 2023.

The Senator disclosed this while addressing newsmen on Wednesday, in Abuja.

Okorocha reiterated that the southeast needs the support of the North and other geopolitical regions to achieve its aim of producing Nigeria’s president in 2023. He stated that Nigeria needs a president who would continue with the efforts of uniting the country, create jobs and also guarantee security.

He said: “The Igbo alone cannot make themselves the president. The quicker they come together and start shoring up support from the North and other parts of the region the better it is to realise the dream.

“I know we shall come up to that point one day when who becomes the president would not be based on tribe or religion. For as long we keep promoting tribal and religious sentiments, we are not getting it right.”
