The president signs hundreds of documents in a day. As an individual he would delegate people to look at things for him, with total trust that they would do perform their functions. Blaming the president wont solve the problem. Even in an organization/firms, most times managers sign documents without thorough checks on what they are signing because of time. |

Is sunnah not practiced before you were born? Speaking from both sides of the mouth when caught But yet when we say follow the sunnah, the tone changes . my people get problem |

Islam › Re: How Muslim Are The Muslim Obas/emirs? by Fundamentalist: 9:52pm On Jan 22, 2019 |
Empiree: If someone else wrote this article I would have my say but the guy called Sanusi Latiagi is somewhat diluled too. Is he not the same dude who called dhikr on the dead an act of worshiping the dead some months back.
Anyways, what he brought up is not new. We all know those obas, especially in Yorubaland land are sick in the head. They are mushrikun. This is why they want ilorin to overthrow emir of ilorin and install Yoruba style kingship. It is common knowledge in Yorubaland land (and they do not hide it); that those obas are mushrikun even though they are close to muslims.
Muslims in Yorubaland have always gave them dawah for far too long. So Mr. Sanusi would need to do beyond writing and take his dawah to them. Not just telling people to give them dawah. If you hear someone says "I am a Muslim to the core". Know that he is not. They are deceivers to justify something. Adewale Ayuba said same thing. They usually don't know anything about Islam. You can not be true Muslim and be that kind of oba in Yorubaland where they go through all types of Haram ritual practices during coronation.
My grandma was from lineage of Oba and she and her family were muslims. When she married my grandpa, bcuz she's a woman she could not be king until she married and her husband would be king. Knowing very well how kingship is practiced, my grandpa who is core Muslim rejected oba and put an end to oba nonsense in our lineage. So since then, kingship was taken away from our family. This was in late 18 century.
If these current oba are truly muslims, they should rather reform practices therein to confirm with Islam or reject kingships altogether like my grandpa did. So you knew we don't practice core Islamic principles especially in yorubaland and you still give us headache when we are defending the sunnah . |

cisse7575: That poetry book is Dawawenu sita. I've seen it and I've read the place you were talking about more than 1000 times. Let me clearify something for. I know much about Adab. When you talk about adab, you are talking about a lots of things, then you are talking about balaagha too...where one will be talking about تشبه of which we have many of it. If you are a student of literature in Arabic, you will understand. For every single world in Arabic poetry, there's different meaning to it depending on the readers. About promising alijanat, well Allah and His messenger knows best, but you concluding that it is a kufr is bad, that statement is not islamical. What are you going to say about those whom prophet Muhammad saw gave paradise certificates? In this life we are greater than each other, even Allah said in the Qur'an in many places that we are greater than each other. Al-Baqara (The Cow) - 2:253 [read in context] Topics discussed in this Verse: [Allah:does what He wills] [Allah:raises people to ranks (degrees)] [Jesus:and the Holy Spirit] [Jesus:given the revelation] [Messengers]
Of those messengers, some of whom We have caused to excel others, and of whom there are some unto whom Allah spake, while some of them He exalted (above others) in degree; and We gave Jesus, son of Mary, clear proofs (of Allah's sovereignty) and We supported him with the holy Spirit. And if Allah had so willed it, those who followed after them would not have fought one with another after the clear proofs had come unto them. But they differed, some of them believing and some disbelieving. And if Allah had so willed it, they would not have fought one with another; but Allah doeth what He will. - 2:253 (Picktall)
Al-Imran (The Family of Imran) - 3:163 [read in context] Topics discussed in this Verse: [Allah:raises people to ranks (degrees)] [Jacob:was sent revelation] [Job:was sent revelation] [Jonah:was sent revelation]
There are degrees (of grace and reprobation) with Allah, and Allah is Seer of what ye do. - 3:163 (Picktall)
An-Nisa (The Women) - 4:96 [read in context] Topics discussed in this Verse: [Allah:raises people to ranks (degrees)] [Allah's attributes:Most Merciful] [Allah's attributes:Oft_Forgiving] [Allah's mercy] [Fighting (and striving) in the ca'use of Allah]
Degrees of rank from Him, and forgiveness and mercy. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. - 4:96 (Picktall)
Al-An'am (The Cattle) - 6:83 [read in context] Topics discussed in this Verse: [Abraham] [Abraham:preaches to his people] [Allah:raises people to ranks (degrees)] [Allah's attributes:Knows all things] [Allah's attributes:Wise] [Prophets]
That is Our argument. We gave it unto Abraham against his folk. We raise unto degrees of wisdom whom We will. Lo! thy Lord is Wise, Aware. - 6:83 (Picktall)
Al-An'am (The Cattle) - 6:132 [read in context] Topics discussed in this Verse: [Allah:is not unmindful of what you do] [Allah:raises people to ranks (degrees)]
For all there will be ranks from what they did. Thy Lord is not unaware of what they do. - 6:132 (Picktall) So please try to understand the content of anything before condemning it. Sometimes I just wonder if you understood the question before commenting |
