Islam › Re: Let's Discuss Boko Haram And Who They Really Are by Fundamentalist: 7:42pm On Dec 15, 2018 |
Abuheekmat: Explain how the evidence is actually against me Jabata students don't accept explanation outside their fold as they don't debate with someone who is against their bokoharam ideology . its useless trying to lecture a "جاحل" like u You won't/can't understand as you are blind , deaf and dumb as the Qur'an would put it |
Islam › Re: Let's Discuss Boko Haram And Who They Really Are by Fundamentalist: 7:34pm On Dec 15, 2018 |
Abuheekmat: I explained who are Boko Haram straight from rosul..
. Don't just point fingers.. Do your explanation Ironically you brought up evidences against yourself . Following your desires only makes you blind to proofs. The only difference I sense now is you're yet to start taking up arms . The ideology is without doubt very much entrenched into your DNA . I mean the bokoharam ideology off course . I have no iota of doubt regarding this claim. I'm too sure if it , I'm glad Muslims on this forum are seeing this . |

Islam › Re: Are Birthday Celebrations Permitted In Islam? by Fundamentalist: 1:06pm On Dec 12, 2018 |
Empiree: ^^
Alright Mr. Fundamentalist, this is closed since you can not refute it.
@op, please be happy on your birthday and thank Allah for gift of life. Nobody has the right to tell you not to celebrate your birthday. It is optional and it is up to you. But if you wanna celebrate your birthday, please do so with taqwa. Depending on how you do it, if you invite people be sure you make it clear to them that you do not allow alcohol beverages.
You can also celebrate your birthday btw you and Allah by fasting, by visiting hospitals, graves, give sadaqat make Dua and do dhikr. Send salawat on the prophet. And you may definitely receive gifts if people give you. And you also have choice not to. Absolutely up to you.
Ignorance and abscence of hikma is worrying our brothers. It is their choice not to celebrate their birthday but they do not have the right to tell you or anyone not to.
Your birthday is yours not pagans. If pagans were doing unlawful acts on their birthdays, this doesn't make birthday Haram. Like lighting candles etc may have their pagan roots. That is what they innovated but this has nothing to do with the essence. So you don't need to light candles. You need your birthday to be sharia compliant.
Islam allows for flexibility where it is necessary. Islam is not all rigid at all. Let me remind you of my mentor, Sheikh Adam Abdullah Al-ilory (ra) said
".......holding to the Sacred Law with practices based on what is flexible and evolving rather than that which is rigid. It's not surprising for me to see such comments from you. Birthday celebration is has no root in Islam |

its sad that individuals like empiree make comment on religious issues . whether giving out or receiving gifts , its all part of the celebration (a celebration wont be recongnized as one without such acts). its more than enough for a Muslim to discard anything that has origin in paganism. No one fights/despises idolatry practices like Muslims. its sad that Muslims are the ones calling to it in the name of civilization. |

I could remember vividly when I went for their interview I was qualified with experience ( plus masters I did worked with their competitors in rural setting) but they told me without remorse they couldn't employ me because I grew beards (company's policy) , Alhamdulillah , I work for an international agency today that pays me 6 figures and I continue to grow my beards . I just wondered if its the beard that would work or me , or how the beard would affect my work for them . |

I used to have similar problem but I conquered it before I left the university. Keep the following points in mind A. See the people you are addressing as people learning from you not the other way round . B. No one will approach you on the stage and kill you C. Master the topic of your discussion very well. D. Save yourself too much grammar E. Avoid direct eye contact . F. Always use use hands to demonstrate when talking. G. Never maintain one direction when talking, always turn . H. Keep the crowd focused you by constantly reminding, if they are with you . this can be done directly/indirectly I. No matter the interruption, never you deviate from main topic , you are the master of that event G. Never look down on yourself , low self esteem . without solving , this others can't be achieved |

kehinde1588: Seriously you are on point. Those sisters find it difficult to socialize with others especially men that are not deep in religion like them. Mere looking at them, one would think they are engaged or married not knowing they are single and dying inside. All these sisters need to change their perspective on socialization. Socializing does not mean engaging in haram. Simple conversation is an act of socialization. The funny part is that, those sisters will say they can't marry someone who is not as deep in religion as them. Its not ability to socialize , its called shyness , its part and parcel of a woman/lady with faith. There is no harm in asking if she is single or married just be polite and ask , simple . |
