unlike some states in nigeria where a particular tribe can serve as a general language for everybody irrespective of their local government, Edo state is known to be different, almost all the local government in edo state has its own unique language (sometimes even within a local govt u 'll still find people speaking different languages)...
There can only be slight similarities between the different languages they speak....
When i see people from edo state i don't bother speaking my dialect because there is only 1 out of 18 chances that they will understand anytin i say....

My fellow Edo compatriots, lets get to knw eachother.

I am from owant east local government
they call us d Otuo people and we speak Otuo

I have been to Otuo several times, Otuo the home of Cocoa

I met this guy in 2010 when i went on a visit to see my aunt. It was an on and off relationship though.......during the course of this relationship, he slapped me and there was another time i was hospitalized, he came and left without offering to pay for the bills knowing fully well dat i had spent much on the sickness already..
Recently he called and said he wants to settle down and apologised for his past behaviour saying it was because he has this trust issue with ladies but he said he is trying to change........i said fine, he's even planning to come and see my family in June. But two days ago, i needed to clear the air on something so i asked him via whatsapp that my girlfriend wants to divorce the husband because he slapped her and he condemned the act saying it could lead to battery if proper measure is not taken. I also asked him that my friend's husband left her in d hosptal when she was hospitalized saying she has family so they should pay d bill. He found out that i was referring to him but his reply was that he should have given me two more slaps as prescribed and y would he pay the hospital bill when i was taking advice from my girlfriend....
Pls dear nlanders mature advise pls. Help a confused sister.

My sister I was initially posted to Aila to serve, I witness the attack in 2014 a bitter experience. No time I wake up and wish those herdsmen well because of what I pass through. I called some of my friends in Aila was informed that some people where killed where houses where burnt down

Baba you dey mind those people, the guy is just lieing and spewing trash. Those Fulani Herdsmen are just Heartless Animal the Experience I had while I was in Agatu will never make me to believe any of their lies. The Truth of the matter is they wanted to have free access to Agatu Farmland with their cattle but always meet resistance from Agatu people whom are predominantly farmers.
