You must be a paid attack dog since you have no evidence to back up any of your silly claims. Abi why is it so hard for you to back up your accusations with facts?

I can not tell you OBJ stole money because I didn't see him do it and I have no proof to stand on in that regards and also, he's yet to be charged and convicted in any court of law

I can not tell you Tinubu stole money because I didn't see him do it and I have no proof to stand on in that regards and also, he's yet to be charged and convicted in any court of law

Making false claims and bearing false witness is what ignorant illiterates like you people do, not me.

Again, till you show us proof that Tinubu stole money, you remain the re.tarded ignorant rumor mongering market woman clown

And I think fools like you are paid to do PR and rubbish a man with no evidence of wrong doing. It's a free country so if you have anything against him apart from your silly rumors, do your civic duty and take it to the EFCC because your rubbish is useless in NL.

Don't be a fool, the EFCC has the best financial forensic tools and manpower in sub Saharan Africa so they know how much he has and where his money came from.

Unlike raving internet losers and rumor mongers like many of you, Lagosians are sensible people. Abi you see them yelling all over the place with silly and dum.b nonsense you people are peddling.

Lagosians have better things too worry about, they see their leaders doing great things, their state is fast developing, they have the most efficient and credible leaders in Nigeria and they are seeing results everyday and so it shall remain and you clowns shall remain on NL still spewing the same rubbish while Lagos and it's leaders keep forge ahead like they've been doing.
You just confirmed that YOU are the fool paid!

edicolove:
The truth of the matter is that there is too much sentiments going around in naija. As much as I dont like Bankole, I did say that the 10billion story was a media creation. It wasnt like the way the media portrayed it. sometimes we have to be calm when these things happen and try and get the real story. There was an indept analysis of the issues on AIT and the panel was able to show that Bankole didnt steal 10billion like the media was crying out. He did preside over the house where the reps allocated monies to themselves that made them to seek a loan which created the 10billion situation. but the point is, it was a house decision. The whole house were guiilty of the problem so it wasnt just a Bankole problem. But some people kept making it a Bankole problem but the EFCC knows the facts. The house is a corrupt house. Their salaries are ridiculous. We need to bring them back to their senses not just shout about Bankole. Sending Bankole to prison is not the real issue. We must fight the whole and make them accountable. They should stop allocating ridiculous sums to themselves. GEJ cant do it because this is a democracy. If he takes them on, it will become a fight between executive and legislature and it will affect the country. The public has to champion the fight.
Thump up!

-Dora should return to the university
-Akala should set up a security company being a former policeman
-Iyabo should set up a vet clinic
-Orji owns The Sun Newspaper, he should become a columnist
-Buhari should become EFCC new boss. He can fight corruption

That way when his russian blood starts to boil, his Naija brain will tell it to cool down and behave himself appropriately.

And I completely agree that Nigerians are a hard bunch to please. How can anyone be calling even a B side Argentina team a walk over? Have we forgotten how the Eagles had deteriorated to the point of struggling to beat even fellow African teams? Before Siasia took over, when did we score close to 4 goals in a match?

Ghana celebrated their draw with England and some folk here beamed with pride but when it comes to our own, they claim it's celebrating mediocrity. I tire for Nairaland armchair critics o!

The issue on ground is, who won? If you think we are celebrating mediocrity, then you had better changed your nationality.

On the bolded, it shows to me that you lack proper knowledge of the game! After Argentina defeated Nigeria in SA
does that made the team better? LOL,  If it made the team better why did we lose against GREECE? And in 2002, the team Nigeria paraded save for OKOCHA N KANU, are virtually young set of players. So what are you talking about?

If you want to talk about 1994 in USA, which I doubt you watch, the team was built for good 4yr n few months, and mind you the team was far better than the ARGENTINA then, save for luck and some nasty decision of the referee!

lwkmd!!!! u pple make me laff alot!! so u believe u actually beat Argentina? dat was a complete joke of d year,  .
I will b very straight, d only tin dat so-called "win" did to us was to boost our confidence!
dat wasnt Argentina's team B, rather it was their team Z apart from Zabaleta nd mayb 1 or 2 oda players dat played,
70% of the Argies dat played dat day were playn 4 dier national team 4 d 1st tym,  nd u call dat a Senior International matchhuh please!!!

buh dnt gemme wrong, its in d record that Nigeria beat Argentina, but lets b true to ourselves, dat ddnt do us any gud!

Just take a gud look at England vs Ghana, England played with 70% of dier 1st team players and it ended 1-1, those r d kind of matches dat we r meant 2 consider as a match not dis 1,

DDnt u guys hear of wat happnd, Argentina 1st rejected d offer from Nigeria, but den accepted 4rm Guiness, gimme a break!! it was 1 of 2 tins dat must hv bin agreed btw Argies nd Guiness,
1. Argentina wasnt gon to field a squad A team which happened or,
2. we were goin 2 b givn d advantage,  considerin d match was goin to b refereed by a Nigerian, linesmen, Nigerian and evrytin lyk dat,

I had a meetin wif Kanu on Sunday nd he told me it was a complete joke even b4 d matchday, so I had known wat was gonna happen,

So lets b careful in jubilatin, cus wat i saw 4rm d Nigerian syd was inexperienced futball, dey werent passn d ball on tym nd dis rigid futball is still in dem,

PoliticsRe: "Nigeria To Become A World Leading Economy Under Jonathan" Jeffrey Sachs by fxtopedia(m): 1:16pm On Jun 01, 2011
Thank God for this Economist man, however, I refuse to fall under illusion.
Even my favorite Economist of all time in my opinion, John Maynard Keynes still has few flaws in his theory(ies)

Here is my views on  his optimism:
1There are five solid reasons for optimism. The first is the reform that Nigeria has been undertaking over the past dozen years. The country has changed since June 8, 1998, when the brutal dictator Sani Abacha died, opening the way for a restoration of civilian rule and the strengthening of critical institutions, including the National Assembly and state and district governments.

We thank God for the restoration but the national assembly and district had repaid the citizenry with looting treasury, hence we  have not achieve more.Though I still share with your optimism sir!

2.The second is the advent of democratic elections. President Jonathan came to power last year when his predecessor, Umaru Yar’Adua, died in office. This April he won a resounding mandate of his own in elections that were praised by observers as by far the freest and fairest in Nigeria’s history. The president’s democratic mandate is not in doubt, even if tensions linger in Nigeria’s traditional north-south ethnic divide.

Yes, democracy, however, majority of people still voted base on tribalism, nepotism, sentiment and in all the best election is not this year election, 1993 remain ever-green in the memory of those who understands true democracy.

3.The third is the global wind in Nigeria’s sails. The rise of China and India is reshaping the world economy, and providing solid support for Nigeria’s growth. Commodity prices are high, as the Asian giants tap global markets. Nigeria can expect to sell not only its vast hydrocarbon deposits at good prices, but also a wide range of agricultural products and manufactured goods. The links with Asia won’t be only through exports. China is determined to be a major partner, financing core infrastructure — highways, rail and power grids — and developing major industrial capacit

.
We pray our leader listen to this. More importantly, agricultural product and exportation. We depend too much on crude,

4The fourth is the “age of convergence,” the tendency of developing countries like Nigeria to make unprecedented economic advances through the deployment of best practices and advanced technologies. China, of course, has been doubling its G.D.P. every seven years with blistering economic growth rates of 10 percent per year. Nigeria is enjoying robust annual growth of around 7 percent, and could catch up to China’s rate if policies are well designed and implemented. Information technologies are rapidly spreading, from the heart of sprawling Lagos to the most remote villages. For the first time, Nigeria will have a network of up-to-date information, providing a platform for sharply higher productivity and economic specialization.

I relatively dis-agree with your suggestion on best practice as this will only make us to be like not above. On issue of Policies,
well, our president only understands ULTIMATUMS , I pray he heeds your advice on this.

5.The fifth is Nigeria’s commitment to tackling extreme poverty and disease throughout the nation. The president’s senior adviser on the Millennium Development Goals, working with the National Assembly, has been leading a bold mechanism to transfer federal funds to state and local governments in a robust and accountable manner. All over the country, schools, clinics and water points are being built. It’s a great honor for us at the Earth Institute to be working with the government on this initiative.

Theory lopo ju ninu eleyi jare. Clinic without power is useless! Water without food na hunger! School without sound teachers na bunch of illiterates etc

Evil Brain:
It amazes me that this bill has been signed into law yet nobody knows what it contains. Not one single copy of the final bill on the internet. Even with my strong Google-fu, I cant find a single excerpt of the final text anywhere. Are the Nigerian press so useless that they can't keep us informed of what has been added or removed? Or is it that the politicians are deliberately trying to obfcuscate things so that they can doctor the bill in such a way that it doesn't interfere with their money siphoning activities?

There's some serious irony here. And it shows how opaque the houses of assembly are. Nobody knows what they are doing, how much money they are collecting or where the money is going.
