Hello fx friends, please I really need a piece of advice from you traders.
Am a price action trader! I started trading 2016 have been a successful trader (by successful i mean i have more of winning trade than losses) but what make me to stay away from trading is because my capital was too small ($100-$170)..
In 2018 I decided to stop trading (still continue to practice and learn more) and look for a job so that I can save enough money to build up a reasonable capital.
Currently have saved up to N700k period of 10months am considering to resign from my job and go back to fx..
Please I need your matured advice.

1. You may not tell every detail and flings but tell him/her about your past relationships cause they may be an issue later
2. If you have ever stolen or done something evil

You should totally be open to your spouse. You shouldn't password your phone and each partner can use each other's phone freely, but there is an exception. For example, if your spouse is a wasteful spender, don't reveal your true financial level to him or her.

If you check forex factory, news could be low, medium or high impact.

High impact news which are coloured red have more impact than the others.

If it is a bullish news, the data/actual will be coloured green.

If it is a bearish news, it will be coloured red.

If the news is neutral, it is coloured black.

Trading news release needs experience.

I am still learning I have read almost everything in babypips but when it comes to practicing it thing are just so rapid well I guess forex is not a textbook it has a life of it's own, but the babypips PDF is a very helpful to me though...

It depends on the instruments and time frame you are trading. Experience also come to play, that's why you need a mentor. If I knew what I do now 12 years ago, I would have been much better for it. At a time, I was disoriented because forex also had a psychology in it; Greed, fear, discipline, self control etc.

Money management should also be factored, the fact that you are right, doesn't mean that market cannot go against you but experience will take care of that.

For example GBPNZD can go 70 pips against you and go 300 pips in your favour.
If your stop loss is 50 pips, it will be hitting it on a regular despite being right of direction.

I like the fact you now understand that forex has a life of its own; it means you are progressing already. The textbook is the foundation/theory, while the practical trading is building/$tructure.
Both are important.

You may still be right but am looking at weekly chart and its still bullish. Price action too will come into play. If we see 142.00 next week, then its still an uptrend.

In essence, last week was bullish, this week bullish, next week assumedly bullish unless price says otherwise.

Nice one there. But what do you mean by realistic time to close a trade? Issit like the number of hours you want it to run?

I said realistic target and time. I didn't use 'realistic' for time.

For realistic target, you will agree that 200 pips/week is more realistic than 700pips/week trading a single pair.

For time, just as I said yesterday, I closed my trade on/before 12 noon. You can see what happened after 11:30am, if I were still in the market I would have lost some money with the correction in price.

Its all part of trading psychology. I learnt it the hard way last week, I was in a trade, GA and GJ to be precise on Friday. I didn't close before 12 noon and inspire of the fact I had profits about $137, I ended up losing it due to the fact that there was a strong support on GJ which price hit and rallied up to take away my stop loss. I shock.

Lesson learnt. Friday should be treated as a half trading day. Whatever you do, consider closing all trades by 11am.

Yes, sufficient capital. Just as I have been stressing. If my account balance was $200. I may not trade the lotsize I am currently without fear creeping in- fear of blowing my capital.
