It is no longer business as usual – very profuse thanks to the Yoruba young men and women who have said enough is enough. I told a friend that Tinubu’s presidency will achieve one cardinal thing for his Àwa l’ókàn race. It will lull them into Shakespeare’s “sleep of death.” It will happen unless they learn and genuinely shake off the arrogance of their invincibility. Remember, they over-ate; they over-slept; and they lost the streets, their prime possession. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founding father of the Republic of Turkey, said “sleeping nations either die or wake up as slaves.”

Have said it before that the effect of Presidential election will last longer in fact across the Nation. I prayed the effect will not be more toxics than this. The slumbered people have woken up finally.

He won SE and SS hands down, he won NC, he won Lagos with about 1million votes, he won Abuja, he won Plateau with around 1 million votes, he won in many areas of Bauchi and other northern states. Most of his northern votes were completely robbed.

If APC knew they have done so well, why didnt they allow a free and fair election so Nigerians can re-elect them

Former lagos governorship candidate, Funsho Williams bears an English surname, compared to typical yorubas from south west hinterlands that bears their native surname.

Lagos State origin is a diverse one. There are pure Egun, Badagry, Awori, Ijebus n Brazilian ones and returning slaves from Carribean n Siera Loneans. So Rhodes u are referring to may likely be Brazilian or returned slaves origin.

I don't know why some groups of people hated this man with passion. As a Governor he employed other tribes, non indigenes as a commissioners and special advicers and he contributed financially to Christian activities and growth even more than some Christians. He also did the same to traditional worshippers as well. He was the most probed ex govt without any indictment. He gave scholarships to both indigenes and non-i digenes, he paid WAEC and NECO without any discrimination, he married a Christian and his son is a Christian, married a Igbo lady.
He condemned excessive of OPC even though they belongs to the same tribe ( one of the reasons they hate him anyway).
He worked for Buhari without collecting contracts as a compensation like others.
He was instrumental in turning Lagos to only productive state in the country.

He didn't prevent my state n your state governor from transforming their states, he didn't killed u or caused mayhem in the society. He has never be a minister or President. So why this level of hatred?
