Neck pain is mainly caused due to the stress in the soft tissues which is present in and around the neck or spine. Muscle strain or spasm might also be one of the reason which leads to neck pain.


Sometimes improper sleeping disorders could also result in pain when u wake up early in the morning. This can be prevented by taking proper steps and precautions.


Neck pain is not a serious problem unless and until you experience it daily. It mostly occurs due to the various postures and if that can be corrected, then there is nothing much to worry about neck pain.

Below are some of the tips which could help us to prevent neck pain to a great extent.

1. Proper Sitting Gesture And Position
No matter where and how you are, the posture in which you are should be proper.

Home Remedies To Get Rid Of Neck Pain
1. Epsom Salt
Epsom salt is one of the best home remedies for any pain including the neck pain. It helps to release muscle spasm and eases the muscles around the neck thereby preventing the pain.

Process-

Dilute 2 tablespoon of Epsom salt in water and soak your neck in this solution.
Keep it soaked for 20 minutes and then rinse with normal water.


Alternatively,

Add 2 spoonful of Epsom salt to warm water.
Soak a towel in this solution and squeeze the excess water from it.
Place this towel around your neck till it cools down.
Repeat this process several times till you get relief from neck pain.


2. Exercises
Neck exercises are very important if you are suffering from neck pain. The exercises help to ease tension in the muscles and thereby help you to get relief from pain.


Neck exercises can be performed anywhere even during work. Rotate your neck clockwise and anti-clockwise 5 times daily for effectiveness.


You can also bend your neck up and down for relief. Remember; do not be too aggressive while performing the exercises as it may further strain your neck. Slowly perform the exercises at regular interval and within a day or two your pain will reduce to a great extent.


3. Mustard Oil
Massage is very important for neck pain, especially oil massage. Mustard oil helps to relieve the pain and also relaxes the muscles.

Process-

Warm mustard oil in a container.
Apply the warm oil on the backside of the neck.
Gently massage the area along with the front portion of the neck and shoulders.
Massage for at least 10-15 minutes till the area feels warm.


This method provides instant relief from neck pain.


4. Milk and Turmeric
This method is useful for all kinds of pain including neck pain. It needs to be consumed orally and does not require external application.

Process-

Boil milk in a container.
Pour the hot milk in a glass and add a pinch of turmeric to it.
Drink the hot milk slowly once in a day.


As a caution, it is advisable to consume only 1 glass of milk and turmeric every day. It is thermogenic in nature and can generate excessive heat in the body. This may result in stomach related issues.


5. Ice Therapy
Ice therapy is also useful to prevent neck pain. It is an instant relief method and acts wonders on neck pain.

Process-

Take some ice cubes in polythene and place it on the painful areas of the neck.
Keep it for some time till you are able to bear the cold.
Again continue with the same process several times.
It will provide automatic relief for pain.

You can also alternate cold and hot compress to get relief from neck pain.


6. Ginger Tea
Ginger has pain relieving properties and is useful to prevent neck pain. Its anti-inflammatory nature helps to ease the muscle and provide relief.

Process-

Take a slice of ginger.
Clean it thoroughly and crush it.
Add the crushed ginger to a container of hot boiling water.
Let it boil for few more minutes and then allow it to steep for some more time.
Strain the solution and add a spoon of honey to it.
Drink this solution several times in a day for relief.


7. Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar has been found very useful in neck pain. It can be both consumed and applied as well for quicker relief.

Process-

Take a glass of warm water and add a spoonful of apple cider vinegar to it.
Drink this solution several times in a day to get relief from neck pain.


Alternatively,

Add 2 spoonful of Apple cider vinegar to your bathing tub.
Soak your neck in this solution for at least 15-20 minutes.
You can also soak a towel in this solution and place it around your neck for relief.

SpaceX is poised to launch an unmanned cargo ship toward the International Space Station Monday, including a super-computer that could direct astronauts on future deep-space missions.


The liftoff of the Falcon 9 rocket, carrying the Dragon cargo ship, is planned for 12:31 pm (1631 GMT) from Cape Canaveral, Florida.The weather forecast is 70 percent favorable for launch.


The mission is the 12th official trip for SpaceX, which has a $1.6 billion contract with NASA to supply the astronauts living in orbit over 20 such back-and-forth journeys.


About 10 minutes after launch, the rocket will attempt to make a controlled landing back on solid ground at Cape Canaveral, as part of SpaceX’s ongoing effort to re-use rocket components after each take-off.


If Monday’s launch is delayed for any reason, the next attempt would have to wait until next week, due to a spacewalk planned for Thursday by Russian cosmonauts, who will deploy a series of satellites from the orbiting outpost.



Complicated cargo
The Dragon is packed with 6,400 pounds (2,900 kilograms) of supplies, including a sophisticated super-computer made by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), called The Spaceborne Computer.


The goal is to test the computer for one year to see if it can operate in the harsh conditions of space, about the same amount of time as it would take for astronauts to arrive at Mars.


As astronauts travel millions of miles away, communications will become increasingly delayed.


Messages from Mars to Earth would be delayed from between four minutes to 24 minutes one-way, depending on the distance between the planets, according to the European Space Agency.


“Such a long communication lag would make any on-the-ground exploration challenging and potentially dangerous if astronauts are met with any mission critical scenarios that they’re not able to solve themselves,” said HPE senior vice president Alain Andreoli in a statement.


The new super-computer aims to provide “sophisticated onboard computing resources that are capable of extended periods of uptime,” he added, describing the year-long effort as “the first step in that direction.”


Another experiment on board is designed to help scientists study Parkinson’s disease in greater detail in the hopes of finding better treatments for this degenerative disease.


Un-impeded by gravity, protein crystals can grow larger in space, and scientists hope to use this environment to help them understand an important protein in Parkinson’s disease, known as Leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2).


Until now, this protein has been difficult to study in Earth, according to researchers at the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which developed the research project.


Other experiments on board include a stem cell investigation for growing new lung tissue, and equipment for growing vegetables in space.

Your resume is the first and, often worryingly, one of the most neglected steps of the job search process. Many people just don’t know where to start, especially if embarking on a job search after a long time. Updating your resume can often feel like a daunting task so hopefully this simple guide will help make the process as painless and as effective as possible.


Careful attention needs to be given to all elements of a resume, including: its overall presentation and layout, grammar, spelling, and, most importantly, content. Even if the content is top quality, most employers won’t get round to reading it if they are put off by any of the other, more basic elements.


Another big turn off for employers is submitting a resume that has clearly not been tailored to the specific application. It’s not hard to tell which resumes have been modified and which haven’t. Not personalising your resume indicates that you’re not enthused enough about the position to spend half an hour researching the role – not a great introduction!


So, in order to help you stand out, I’ve compiled some guidelines based on my experience of viewing thousands of resumes over the years:

Presentation and layout
Your resume must look clean and well structured, with enough white space to enhance readability. It should be approximately two pages long unless your industry has its own standards; for instance, if you are expected to include your publications or details of many projects.


Use a simple font like Arial, 10-12pt, and keep formatting like italics and underlining to a minimum. Bullet points are extremely useful as they allow you to highlight key points succinctly and keep the document looking tidy. Start each one with an action verb if you can (‘created’, ‘managed’, ‘increased’, ‘improved’ etc.), rather than ‘I’.


Spelling and punctuation must be perfect, so after you proofread and spell-check it, give it to a friend to do the same. Hiring organisations are inundated with so many applications and unnecessary mistakes can mean yours ends up in the reject pile.

Basic resume structure:
1. Name, address and contact details
Make sure to use the phone number and email address that you use most often. You don’t want to disappoint an employer by failing to respond to their invitation to an interview in a timely fashion.

2. Personal summary
This is optional, but it’s a good opportunity to highlight in a few sentences what you hope to achieve in your next position and what you feel you can offer to the employer. In marketing terms, this is the place for your ‘USP’, or unique sales proposition. Tailor this section to each job position that you’re applying to.

3. Skills summary
The reader of your resume may not have more than a few seconds to spend scanning applications, so including a skills section can capture their attention by making it immediately clear what you can offer. Compile a brief bulleted list of the skills and experience that you possess that are relevant to the role. Wherever possible, use the same adjectives as those used in the advertisement.


For instance, if the ad specifies someone who has ‘effective administrative abilities and excellent interpersonal skills’, these should be addressed under your skills section with brief evidence as to where you gained those skills. Make sure to tailor your skills and expertise to the individual position you are applying for, always.

4. Relevant experience
This is your work history and includes paid work and any relevant volunteer or work experience placements. Work backwards from your most recent job and don’t leave any gaps; you don’t want to give potential employers any reason to suspect the worst. If you took a year out, carried out an interim assignment or travelled for six months, say so – just make sure you illustrate whatever the experience was in a positive way, focusing on the fact that it gave you some great skills and knowledge.

5. Achievements
A future employer will be interested in where you went above and beyond the job that you were paid to do and achieved something great. So if you’ve been “Employee of the Month” for 3 months running, say so. All achievements should be quantified, for example if you over-achieved on your sales targets, you need to say by what percentage and over what period.

6. Education and training
Use your common sense here. If you have an advanced degree, few people are going to be concerned about the exams you took when you were 16 years old. Make sure to also include any training courses that you have done that are relevant to the job that you are applying for.

7. Interests
These are optional, but should you choose to include a section on hobbies and interests, keep it very brief. Avoid saying anything that could be contentious (e.g. political or religious affiliations), and wherever possible, use the space to show how your personality is suited to that of the business for which you’re applying.

8. References
Actual references are rarely included on resumes. It is usually fine to simply say ‘References are available on request’. The employer will then make later arrangements to contact the referees.

Good luck in your job search
Hopefully the above information will help you gain a better response rate in your job search. Resume writing is not a difficult skill, however if you get the basics right then you increase your chances of success significantly. Remember to keep it structured, relevant and interesting. Good luck!

Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay, you might say, has a thing for Italian supercars. And nowhere could that be seen more vividly than in the music video for the 1996 hit single Cosmic Girl.


The video features three of Italy's finest – clearly from another time – racing each other on mountain switchbacks: a black Ferrari F355, a red F40, and a purple Lamborghini Diablo. Now that metallic violet supercar is up for sale.


The '96 Lamborghini Diablo SE30 may look like it's from another galaxy, but is actually one of 150 fabricated on the outskirts of Bologna – only 16 of which were made in right-hand drive for markets like the UK. One was damaged while making the music video saw; this was the second brought in to replace it. Things didn't go smoothly for this one either, though, as a camera fell through the windscreen during filming. Amari Supercars originally sold the car to Jay Kay back in '96, and after two decades, has now reacquired and listed it for sale again for a suitably cosmic £549,995 – equivalent to $727k at current exchange rates. This is world record breaking! Here is a man who is married to 13 wives and all of them are pregnant at the same time and same month.


No this was not enough, all of them are happy to his wife and they live together like a happy family. All the wife are extremely happy about their pregnancy and they get along with each other well.

According to bestselling management author and CNBC contributor Suzy Welch, how you respond to this question, "the finale of your job interview," can either make you a front-runner for the job or significantly hurt your chances.


While you may be tempted to ask a simple question — for instance, "What would a typical day be like for me?" — doing so won't help you stand out.


"Don't do it," she says. "It's so expected. It's not particularly thoughtful. And it's probably already been covered."


Make the most of that crucial last opportunity to shine. According to the leadership and career expert, the best questions to ask a hiring manager should accomplish these two things:


1. Show you've been listening
"This is your chance to show you were fully engaged," Welch says. "Focus in on an aspect of the job as it's been described."


To show you've been paying attention, ask a question that digs deeper into part of the job description they laid out for you.


A great example of this, Welch says, is something like, "Mary said part of my job would be interfacing with the operations team. I'd love to hear a little more about what that entails."


2. Show you think big
Next, demonstrate that you think "expansively" by asking a forward-looking question on an industry-related topic.


"Go up to 20,000 feet," Welch says, "and ask about the competition, the industry."


You can ask about a new product or feature the company just rolled out, or you can inquire about a trend that's impacting the sector, citing an article you recently read.


A good example of this, Welch says, is saying something like: "I just read an interesting article about how your competitors are using artificial intelligence. How are you thinking about that development?"


That type of question shows your potential boss you are already thinking about the company and how it works.


"Show in a positive way that you're excited about the future," Welch says, "and that a part of your brain is already there."


And while you're thinking about what to ask, remember there are also topics you should avoid. Under no circumstances should you bring up salary or benefits during the interview.
