Foreign Affairs / Russian Army Says It May Have Killed IS Chief by gabonsky: 1:54pm On Jun 16, 2017
(FILES) This image grab taken from a propaganda video released on July 5, 2014 by al-Furqan Media allegedly shows the leader of the Islamic State (IS) jihadist group, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, aka Caliph Ibrahim, adressing Muslim worshippers at a mosque in the militant-held northern Iraqi city of Mosul. The Russian army on June 16, 2017 said it had struck a meeting of Islamic State leaders in Syria on May 28 and was trying to verify whether the group’s leader had been killed, news agencies said on Friday.

In a statement, the army said the attack took place near the IS stronghold of Raqa “which was also attended by IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi,” the media reported, adding that the military was trying verify “by various means” whether he had been killed. AL-FURQAN

The Russian army on Friday said it hit Islamic State leaders in an airstrike in Syria last month and was seeking to verify whether IS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi had been killed.

In a statement, the army said Sukhoi warplanes carried out a 10-minute night-time strike on May 28 at a location near Raqa, where IS leaders had gathered to plan a pullout by militants from the group’s stronghold.

“Senior commanders of the military groups of the so-called IS military council, 30 mid-ranking field commanders and up to 300 militants who provided security for them were eliminated,” it said.

“According to information which is being checked through various channels, the leader of ISIL Ibrahim Abu-Bakr al-Baghdadi was also present at the meeting and was eliminated by the strike,” it said.

ISIL is an acronym for the so-called IS group, also known as ISIS and Daesh.

The US has been informed about the attack, the statement added.

Elusive IS supremo Baghdadi has not been seen in public since proclaiming himself “caliph” in the Iraqi city of Mosul three years ago.

His group has earned global notoriety for imposing a hardline form of Islam that has included stonings, beheadings and amputations.

The Iraqi-born world’s most-wanted man has been rumoured wounded or killed a number of times in the past.

He has been nicknamed “The Ghost” as he has been reportedly spotted around the Syrian-Iraqi border but his whereabouts have never been confirmed.

US-backed Arab and Kurdish forces broke into the IS bastion of Raqa last Tuesday for the first time since it became a hub of the group’s self-declared caliphate and the scene of its most gruesome atrocities.

Food / Going To University Halves Risk Of Heart Disease, 30-year Study Shows by gabonsky: 1:46pm On Jun 16, 2017
Statistics show people with the worst education are much more likely to develop the cardiovascular condition.

Going to university slashes the risk of heart disease, particularly among women, new research shows. Statistics show people with the worst education are much more likely to develop the cardiovascular condition.

And a new analysis of this phenomenon reveals those who do not have a degree are almost twice as likely to contract it. Experts believe this is down to educated people choosing healthier lifestyles, and reaching higher-paid jobs, which means they can afford better healthcare.

Female graduates had a 28 percent lifetime risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) compared to almost 51 percent who did not go on to further education. The trend was also apparent in men, but not quite as dramatic. Those who went to university had a lifetime CDV risk of 42 percent, compared to 59 percent for those who didn’t.

Dr. Yasuhiko Kubota, of Minnesota University, said: “More than one in two individuals with less than high school education had a CVD event during his or her lifetime.”

In addition educational attainment was ‘inversely associated’ with CVD regardless of other important socio-economic factors including family income, occupation or parental education – meaning the better the education the lower the risk.

Previous research has suggested going to university staves off dementia with mental stimulation helping to build up ‘cognitive reserves’. Medical experts also say better educated people are more likely to choose healthier lifestyles.

This is in part because future returns – in terms of both health and lifetime earnings – are higher for graduates leading them to invest in a more healthy lifestyle.

They are less likely to smoke, abuse alcohol and will exercise more, eat healthier foods and have more frequent health checks than the average population.

The first study of its kind published by JAMA Internal Medicine said one of the most important socio-economic factors contributing to CVD is educational inequality.

Kubota and colleagues set out to calculate the lifetime risk of CVD – which includes coronary heart disease, heart failure and stroke – according to educational levels to convey it.

So they looked at 13,948 white and African-American participants who were 45 to 64 years old at the start and free of CVD. They followed them from 1987 to 2013 – with some well in their 80s by the end.

During this time there were 4,512 CVD events – such as strokes or heart attacks – and 2,401 deaths that had no connection to cardiovascular disease. The researchers said lifetime risks of CVD should be interpreted carefully because they could be influenced by other factors.

But Kubota said: “Even with such a proviso, our estimates of lifetime risk can help in elucidating the association between education and CVD risk.”

Celebrities / Obama Hails Jay Z As First Rapper In Songwriters Hall Of Fame by gabonsky: 1:39pm On Jun 16, 2017
Former US president Barack Obama hailed Jay Z as a kindred spirit as the hip-hop mogul became the first rapper to enter the Songwriters Hall of Fame on Thursday.

The elite club also welcomed Motown records’ pathbreaking founder Berry Gordy at its annual induction — an evening of performances by top stars that, like songwriters themselves, stayed decidedly lower-key than televised award galas.

Obama made a surprise appearance by video to present the honor to Jay Z, who grew up as Sean Carter in a troubled housing project in Brooklyn and has gone on to become one of music’s wealthiest entrepreneurs.

“I like to think Mr Carter and I understand each other. Nobody who met us as younger men would have expected us to be where we are today,” Obama said of the rapper, who with his wife Beyonce actively campaigned for the first African-American president.

Obama said he related to Jay Z in that neither grew up with a father, both understood deprivation “and, let’s face it, we both have wives who are significantly more popular than we are.”

Obama described himself as a longtime fan of Jay Z and, in a veiled reference to his successor Donald Trump, said: “I’m pretty sure I’m still the only president to listen to Jay Z’s music in the Oval Office.”

“That may change at some point, but I’m pretty sure that’s true now,” he said.

Jay Z did not appear at the ceremony. Beyonce is pregnant with twins, and his absence is sure to fuel speculation that her delivery date is approaching.

The rapper took to Twitter to thank artists who influenced him. In a speech in his name, his music publisher Jon Platt said the award came after years of rappers being told “you’re not songwriters.”

“Jay would want you to know that this induction is a signal that your time has come and your time is now,” he said.

Respect for songwriters
Pitbull, the bilingual Cuban-American rapper, took the most political turn of the gala as he received an award for global contributions.

He warned that the United States is being led by “a donkey” in Trump, saying music has the power to unite people across barriers.

But creative people are too often overlooked even though their content grosses billions, he added.
“We are the reason that these tech guys get to put on jeans and a T-shirt,” Pitbull said.

Jimmy Jam also called for respect to songwriters as he was inducted alongside Terry Lewis, his longtime partner. The duo is best known for developing Janet Jackson’s sound as well as hits such as The Human League’s “Human,” which the pair performed at the gala.

“We’re like the farmers,” he said. “Without us the music doesn’t exist for anybody — for Spotify, Pandora, you name it.”

New award for Motown legend
Motown’s still-sprightly 87-year-old founder Gordy was inducted for songwriting after winning myriad other awards.

“All I can say is that it’s about time,” he said before enjoying a standing ovation.

Gordy wrote classic songs from The Contours’ “Do You Love Me” to the signature tunes of The Jackson 5. He found a home for his music by creating Motown in Detroit, once the country’s biggest African-American-owned business.

“Songwriting was my first love and protecting that love was the motivation for everything else I did,” Gordy said.

“All I had to do was to convince white disc jockeys that my songs were music for all people,” he added.

Other songwriting inductees included Max Martin, the Swede who has worked with Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Adele and other stars to create some of the 21st century’s biggest chart-toppers; Babyface, the force behind dozens of R&B hits by Whitney Houston and other artists; and Robert Lamm and James Pankow of the jazz-rock band Chicago.

The 26-year-old English superstar Ed Sheeran received an award for young songwriters and performed an acoustic version of his “Castle on a Hill.”

“Performing a gig feels good, drinking alcohol feels good, having sex feels good,” he said. “But writing a song — there is nothing like that moment.”

Agriculture / Flu Kills 13,000 Birds As Kano Farmers Lament Unpaid Compensation By Government by gabonsky: 8:16am On Jun 15, 2017
The Kano State Ministry of Agriculture yesterday confirmed that the avian flu influenza, otherwise known as bird flu had killed no fewer than 13,000 birds in nine farms across the state.

The Federal Government had raised the alarm of possible outbreak of the disease in seven states of Kano, Katsina, Kaduna, Bauchi, Nassarawa, Plauteau and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Besides, the fresh outbreak of bird flu in Kano came amidst farmers’ agitation against unpaid compensation, which has accumulated for two years.

Director of Veterinary Services in the ministry, Shehu Bawa who disclosed the development told The Guardian that the number of fresh casualties only accounted for cases officially reported and documented at the ministry.

Shehu, who said the affected farms had since been depopulated to check further spread, insisted that the increase in the number of affected birds was due to the late notice it received from the farmers.

He pointed out that the state government in collaboration with the National Veterinary Research Institute (NVRI) has begun a surveillance of farms and market places to decontaminate suspected cases of the disease.

Meanwhile, Secretary of Poultry Farmers Association (PFA), Umar Kibiya Umar lamented the failure of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture to settle a backlog of compensation to farmers who had lost millions of birds to earlier outbreak of the scourge.

Umar said poultry farmers had suffered huge losses to the deadly disease without intervention from government in recent times.

His words: “The last time we received compensation in Kano was in 2015 and that was made in part payment and no money was paid in 2016, let alone the recent cases. In 2015 and 2016, 136 farms were affected in which over 1 million birds were lost.

“To set the records straight, the Federal Government paid N330m as part payment in 2015, leaving N437m to balance our members for the two years.

He said the Soviet International and Anadariya farms, among others, were badly affected two years ago.

Manhart have stepped out of their comfort zone that saw them tune high-end BMWs and took on a new project that builds on the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe.

The two-door luxury compact car has received new turbos, a software optimization, an upgraded fuel system, and an aftermarket exhaust, which, combined with other tweaks, have brought the engine's output up to 700PS (690hp) and 900Nm (664lb-ft) of torque.

The stock 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, by comparison, makes 510PS (503hp) and 700Nm (516lb-ft) of torque, so we're talking about a serious upgrade. No info about its 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint time have been provided, but the tuner states that top speed has been increased to 310km/h (192mph), from 290km/h (180mph).

The new KW coilover springs, which make the car sit closer to the ground, the yellow decor stripes that adorn the matte grey body and the 21-inch rims with yellow inserts, wrapped in 255/30 front and 295/25 rear tires enhance its visual appearance.

Manhart haven’t released any pricing details in regards to their updates made to the powerful Merc, thus potential customers will have to contact them.

undecided BREAST CANCER IS A TERROR.

yes but it can be reduced with these following low fat food

Plant’s theory may not be far off the mark. If you follow a low-fat diet like the Chinese do, you can keep the Big C at a distance. These non-fattening foods will be a great help.

1. Mushrooms
The Chinese add lots of mushrooms to their noodles and omelets. A study in the Chinese health journal PLos One revealed that a diet high in mushrooms offers protection from breast cancer. If you dislike Chicken Chow Mien, you can add them to stews, scrambled eggs or stir-fries.

2. Broccoli Sprouts
These vegetables are high in antioxidants. The Center for Cancer Research found that one of them, Sulforaphane, may target cancer growth. Have them in sandwiches and salads.

3. Pomegranates
These fruits are high in ellagic acid, an antioxidant that may slow cancer development. Scientists from the Beckman Research Institute discovered that it restrains the enzymes that may cause breast cancer.

4. Lentils
The American Journal Of Nutrition supports Jane Plant’s theory that dietary changes may help to stop breast cancer development. Researchers studied the Asian diet and found that legumes and soy contributed to lower rates of breast cancer. If you do not like stir-fried legumes, try a lentil burger. You may substitute them with kale as well.

5. Walnuts
If you want to prevent breast cancer, go nuts. That is, have handfuls of walnuts. Scientists from the Marshall University School of Medicine in West Virginia discovered that the Omega acids, phytoestrogens, and antioxidants in them control cancerous enzymes. Be creative and add walnuts to soups, muffins or even pizza.

6. Blueberries
The Chinese name for these delightful fruits is “Lan Mei”, and they explain why many of their women do not get breast cancer. Pterostilbene, a potent antioxidant in them, cause cancerous cells to self-destruct. This fascinating process is known as apoptosis. Enjoy blueberries with yogurt and cereals.

7. Spinach
Women who take in high amounts of folate have low breast cancer rates. Spinach has lots of this Vitamin-B compound. If you want to enjoy this low-fat food as the Chinese do, fry spinach leaves with prawns and a little soy sauce.

8. Eggs
Women prize eggs for their ability to control hair fall and various skin conditions. The Choline in them helps with these ailments, and breast cancer as well. A study found that it ensures the proper functioning of cells. The Chinese fry them with noodles and make slurp-worthy omelets with them.

9. Salmon
The Chinese enjoy raw fish dishes every lunar new year, and they could explain why breast cancer rates among them are not significant. Vitamin D in salmon prevent “good” cells from turning rogue. Omega-3 fat in this fish stops the spread of cancerous cells in the breast to other parts of the body.

10. Rye and Whole Grains
If the idea of raw salmon does not excite you, eat more grain instead. The American Institute for Cancer Research found that the lignans, fiber, phytonutrients, minerals and vitamins in them helped to stop cancer cells from spreading. Eat rye bread with eggs, tomato or sprouts.

Family / Women In China Rarely Get Breast Cancer And Here Is Why by gabonsky: 6:16pm On Jun 12, 2017
The thought of breast cancer is scary and troubles women worldwide.
What may cause you to raise your eyebrows is that women in Asian countries such as China have lower incidences of the illness. Dietary preferences may explain this phenomenon.

What is breast cancer?
Simply put, mammary cancer happens when cells in the breast turn rogue. They grow fast, forming tumors which a doctor can usually detect via a mammogram or an X-Ray of the chest area. Though these tumors are more common in women, they may develop in men as well.

Malignant tumors that begin in the milk duct, or ductal carcinomas, are the most familiar type of breast cancer. Cancers arising in the lobules, or lobular carcinomas, happen less.

Breast cancer starts with thickened tissue in a woman’s breast. These cells form what most people call a “lump.” She may feel a sting in her armpits that has no links with her menstrual period. Her skin may redden, and a rash may develop around her nipples. Discharge may flow from one of them.

What raises the risk of breast cancer?
While experts cannot pinpoint the causes of breast cancer, they can identify what puts a woman at a risk of developing it. Your tendency to contract it is high if you have the following attributes. Your propensity for breast cancer increases when you are older. Cancer develops in postmenopausal women rather than those who are younger.

80% of breast cancers occur in women over the age of 50.
Genetics and family history may determine the likelihood of getting the Big C. If a close relative has it, the risk of you contracting it is high. That said, breast cancers are common, and a majority of them are not hereditary. The possibility of breast cancer may rise if you had benign breast lumps. They include atypical ductal hyperplasia and lobular carcinoma. There is a likelihood of them metastasizing if they develop again.

Further, women with high levels of estrogen are more likely than their peers to have breast tumors. If you had your periods earlier than other women your age, be alert to this. How heavy you are may decide whether you get breast cancer or not. Obese menopausal women are more likely than their slimmer peers to develop growths in their mammary glands. They tend to produce higher levels of estrogen.

An interesting point to note is that taller women are more prone to breast cancer than shorter ones, though experts still need to establish the reason for this. Women who consume more alcohol have a higher risk than others of developing breast cancer. If you want to kick cancer to the curb, take no more than one alcoholic beverage per day.

Breast cancer raises its ugly head because of increased levels of estrogen and progesterone in the female body. Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) may contribute to the development of tumors. Women who need to replace estrogen in their bodies are more likely than others to contract the disease. Combined estrogen and progesterone therapy increase their risk.

Woman Breast Cancer

The Diet Factor: Why Chinese Women Are Less Likely to Develop Breast Cancer
These risk factors aside, a woman’s diet may be one of the biggest reasons for getting breast cancer. Jane Plant, a renowned professor of geochemistry, received a breast cancer diagnosis from her gynecologist. She decided to put up a fight against the disease.

Her husband, who worked in China, found that the breast cancer rates were much lower there than in Western countries. The Plants discovered that Chinese diets comprised only 14% of fat compared with Western diets, which contained 36% fat. Jane then realized that few Chinese ate dairy produce.

She started to follow a revolutionary diet plan that changed her fate for the best. She replaced high-fat dairy products with low-fat Cheese and skimmed milk.

The lump in her breast remained the same size after her first session of chemotherapy. She removed dairy from her diet, and it shrank after the second session. It vanished after her third chemo session, a phenomenon which astounded specialists at Charing Cross hospital.

Jane’s experience brings to mind that the dietary choices could be responsible for the onset of cancer. A low-fat diet does a lot to reduce the signs of the disease.

Say Goodbye to Breast Cancer with these ten low-fat foods
Plant’s theory may not be far off the mark. If you follow a low-fat diet like the Chinese do, you can keep the Big C at a distance. These non-fattening foods will be a great help.

Prof. Anthony Eneji, state Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday

The Cross River Government says that it has awarded N1.16 billion contract for the commencement of work on a model banana farm project in Akamkpa town of Akamkpa Local Government Area.

Prof. Anthony Eneji, state Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Calabar.

Eneji said that the contract was the first phase, adding that work would commence on a 100 hectares out of the 250 hectares of land allocated for the project in the state.

He said that already, the contractor had been mobilised to sight for the first phase of the project. According him, the second phase will start in Boki Local Government Area.

“The farm will grow different species of banana, and thereafter, turn them into finished products such as fruit juice, banana sweets, chips and so on,” he said.

Politics / Obasanjo, Youth Neglect And The Fear Of Revolution by gabonsky: 5:48pm On Jun 09, 2017
There is much to worry about the recent trepidation expressed by former President Olusegun Obasanjo regarding the alarming level of neglect of the nation’s youths. The fact that youths are the largest segment of the county’s population is enough to entertain some fear if they should not be given due attention. Sadly, they are glibly referred to as the future leaders without ensuring that a deliberate measure to aid their quest for public service or entrepreneurship be put in place.

Unarguably, youths are the engine that drives the economy of any nation and if given the opportunity to lead, they will make the nation regain its pride of place economically and in the international community. Therefore, to paraphrase Obasanjo, we will not transform if we continue to ignore the youths.

However, over the years, the challenges faced by the youths due to neglect are unimaginable. It is sad to note that many who tried to break the jinx and become self-employed or gain employment in government ministries often hit a brick wall. Perhaps, such is the case why most young people are adamant to the plea not to leave the country. And no amount of Jacob wrestling with the angel will stop them as they chose to risk their lives on a perilous journey across the Mediterranean Sea in search of greener pastures in Europe.

The danger that may arise from the minds of the neglected youths is better imagined than experienced. Perhaps, that is what necessitated Obasanjo to raise the alarm that the country might be consumed by youth anger as a result of neglect. In this regard, it is important for government to provide jobs for the young bulging population, so that, the ticking time bomb may not explode like it did during the Arab spring.

At the moment, the rate of unemployed youths is still astronomically high and government’s lackadaisical attitude towards creating jobs shows that the trend may not abate in the near future.

Obviously, it seems that government at all levels lacks foresight of what the youths really need and how to harness their potential. It is not enough for an elder statesman of Obasanjo’s status to implore the youths not to wish him and his likes dead and for young people to believe in themselves and never to lose hope or be frustrated because we have a wonderful country and resources. It would be fairer for Obasanjo to question himself as well as past and present leaders thus: What foundation did we lay for the youths to believe in? Or is he speaking in order to be exonerated from those who blatantly refused to give the youths a chance? Besides, what makes the country and its resources wonderful when its youths are neglected?

Of recent, one of the roads most travelled by people is the path that leads to politics. On this journey, politicians pride themselves among others as servants of the people, bridge builders and the ones that bring social services and so on to the common man. Yet, the youths are neglected and without jobs while the majority of the citizens are languishing in abject poverty. This is very sad for an oil-rich nation like Nigeria.

In the face of all these inadequacies, political elders and politicians continue to enjoy life, wealth, power and privileges. While the youths and the masses are ravaged by poverty. The question therefore is: when would the elders hear the clarion call and allow the youths to weather the storm and lead? Or are they comfortable with the continued neglect and joblessness of youth?

Notwithstanding the neglect of the youths some of the so-called elders make young people to participate actively in protest to pressure government to reverse a policy not favourable to them among others. Indeed, there is no harm in protesting. But, they should rather protest against injustice, corruption, anti-people policies and so on. Young people should actively get involved in politics and other forms of leadership in order to help reclaim public confidence and faith in politics and government. Yes, Obasanjo is right when he said: “Japan does not have any resources yet it is one of the largest economies in the world”. But, he failed to tell us the age of the people managing such a large economy and why it is very difficult for Nigerian leaders to emulate them.

Regrettably, in these climes, sit-tight leaders abound. Political leaders find it difficult to relinquish power as they hide under the illusion that young people need to cut their teeth in politics and be properly nurtured and groomed before enough trust and confidence can be reposed in them to lead and hold sensitive political offices. In confirming the above point, Obasanjo said: “Don’t wish us dead, don’t wish us to disappear because you will need us …to mentor you and prepare you for the future…you need our experience…to guide you…” Certainly, young people need guidance but, not the likes in the Constitution which guides them out from contesting as president in the country with the age clause.

However, the youthful revolution burning like wild harmattan fire in the political arena around the world could serve as a lesson for Nigerian leaders, elders and political elite to allow young people to shoulder more of government’s responsibilities. This is because, allowing young people as leaders will serve as a mirror for the youths to see their own face and give judgment of other faces reflected there before. The recent appointment of very aged people as ambassadors and ministers is not only appalling but a slap on the youths. This is because the majority of these elderly people cannot function effectively in the new age of information technology as it is absolutely very strange to them. Indeed, one of the recently appointed elderly ambassadors confessed during the Senate screening that information technology is not for his generation. Yet, he will be an ambassador to mostly young Nigerians in the Diaspora whose source of information and interaction is the internet.

No doubt, the youthful 39-year-old Emmanuel Macron, President of France will be an eye opener for Nigerian leaders and its youths. No doubt, Nigeria’s youths are brilliant, smart and courageous. But their interest in politics and leadership should be inspired by an enabling environment before they can hit the ground running to help build the nation. Indeed, it is unacceptable for successive governments to continue to keep the youths inactive, indolent and unproductive. Such uncharitable action exhibited by government towards the youths sooner or later may trigger Obasanjo’s fear of the youths’ anger which may consume all.

To avert a revolution by the youths, government should without hesitation invest heavily in projects that create real job opportunities for them and not waste resources on elephant projects. More so, an enabling environment should be made available for human capacity development as much as agriculture is made very attractive to young people.

THE GYNECOLOGIST WON’T TELL YOU ABOUT THIS BECAUSE YOU CAN’T BUY IT: DESTROYS FUNGI, BACTERIA AND ODOR. THE BEST THING IS THAT YOU’VE GOT IT AT HOME!

Hey ladies, how are you today? According to the latest statistics, the experts say that many women around the world suffer from this health problem – vaginitis! Well, this means that you should be very careful and don’t ignore these common symptoms – redness, genital itching, swelling of the mucous membranes, abdominal pain, foul-smelling secretion!

And now, I would like to ask you a simple question – do you know what’s vaginitis? Here’s what you need to know – vaginitis is an inflammation of the lining of the vagina caused by pathogenic bacteria or fungi. This disease affects about a third of women of childbearing age. So, in order to understand the cause of vaginitis, it’s extremely important for you to remember that the vagina is home to many different microorganisms (beneficial and pathogenic). Their balance depends on the age, lifestyle, and function of the woman’s ovaries.

Note: the experts say that all these things can affect the content of glycogen in the vaginal wall, which is converted into high concentration of lactic acid (pH 4-4.5) and prevent the spread of bad bacteria. An alkaline environment in the vagina can cause many different diseases. And, if you use antibiotics to treat this health problem, you should know that it can exacerbate the problem and it can cause a spread of fungal infections. Drugs and other chemicals can cause allergic reactions and excessive dryness.

Don’t worry, because today is your lucky day! And, now you probably ask yourself – why? Well, that’s easy to answer – because there are natural remedies that can help you with this problem, and in this article we’re going to show you the most effective ones!

These home remedies can normalize the microflora of the vagina and eliminate the unwanted signs of vaginitis. Important: Before starting treatment, however, you need to do some tests and find out what caused the disease (bacteria or yeast). This homemade remedy is very simple and easy to make. You just have to follow the simple instructions. Here’s what you need to do;

HOME REMEDY FOR VAGINITIS

1.VINEGAR
It’s very simple – you just have to mix 2 tablespoons 9% acidity vinegar with 4 cups of boiling water. Rinse the external parts of your Instruments with this solution. Repeat this process every day until the unpleasant symptoms disappear.

2.CHAMOMILE TEA
Here’s what you need to do – first, you need to bring 4 cups of water to a boil and add 2 tablespoons dried chamomile flowers and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Rinse and wash with this potion, taking into account the severity of the disease. Note: make sure you use this method, until the microflora is normalized.

3.LEMON JUICE
You should definitely try this lemon juice remedy! It’s very simple – just dissolve 1 tablespoon of lemon juice into 4 cups of lukewarm water. Douche with this mixture. And, you should also know that the experts say that in order to prevent further vaginal infections, eat dairy products, use underwear made of natural fabrics, and for intimate hygiene use gentle products containing lactic acid. And, don’t forget – it’s also very important that your partner takes good care of his personal hygiene, especially before intercourse to minimize introduction of foreign bacteria into the vagina. We really hope you find this article helpful and don’t forget to share it with your friends and family.

Thank you and have a good one!

Science/Technology / Jeddah's New Airport On Track To Start Operations In Q1 2018 by gabonsky: 5:10am On Jun 09, 2017
Jeddah’s $7.2bn (SR27bn) King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) will start experimental operations in the beginning of next year.

The first phase of the KAIA expansion will handle 30 million passengers per annum and is currently employing 21,000 engineers and workers from 110 companies, Construction Week reports.

The new airport will have one of the tallest control towers in the world at a height of 136 metres and will boast smart and environmentally-friendly features.

Ibrahim Mandoura, director general (planning and studies) of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), said: “With the completion of the second phase, the airport will be able to handle 55 million passengers, and 100 million following the third and final phase.

“So far 88% of the works have been completed and the airport would serve 36.5% of the total passengers using Saudi airports.”

The new airport will be one of the largest in the Middle East and is expected to employee thousands of Saudi nationals upon completion.

The project includes the construction of two new terminals across an area of 810,000m2 which will cater to both domestic and international passengers and allow all airlines to operate under one roof.

It will also include passenger lounges, a new concourse building with 25 additional passenger bridges and connector buildings linking the terminals, air bridges and movable gates, apron and taxiway modifications and extensions, electrical and mechanical systems and extension.

The terminal is linked with parking areas, Haramain station, metro station, taxi and bus stations.

“The active involvement of Makkah Emirate, Ministry of Transport, and Jeddah Governorate in implementing giant projects such as Haramain Speed Rail, and flyovers connecting airport with main highways, has enabled GACA to go ahead vigorously with the completion works on a time-bound basis,” Mandoura added.

Food / Re: Reasons Why You Should Avoid Eating Sugar! by gabonsky: 5:36pm On Jun 08, 2017
Stellag:
Please how can I take care of my Spleen?

This is what you must do to take care of your spleen if its cant be removed from your body:
Eat warm, cooked meals: Food that is warm and cooked decreases the work of the digestion system, which must warm up food and break it down. Precooked and warmed foods, such as soups, stews and curries, are more easily absorbed and create less work for the Spleen. Avoid raw, cold foods, which are more difficult to digest.

Promote digestive fire: Having some raw ginger before or during meals or adding warming spices such as black pepper, ginger, cardamom and cinnamon to food helps increase the Spleen's ability to digest food properly. Eating pungent foods such as onions, leeks, fennel and garlic also help increase the body's digestive fire.

Eat slowly and mindfully: Taking the time to relax during meal times and properly chewing food reduces the amount of work that the digestion organs must do in order to break down food. Relaxing the mind and body during meal times activates the "rest and digest" parasympathetic nervous system, which optimizes the body's ability to properly digest food.

Eat frequent meals: Small, frequent meals are more easily digested than large, heavy ones. Proving the body with energy in the form of food every few hours or so prevents blood sugar crashes and weakness.

Science/Technology / World’s First Trackless Train Recently Went On A Trial Run In China by gabonsky: 4:26pm On Jun 08, 2017
World’s first trackless train recently went on a trial run.

Train tracks on city streets could be a thing of the past. China unveils train that travels on ‘virtual tracks’. The Autonomous Rail Transit (ART) uses sensors to run along invisible tracks on city streets.

The sensors send the information back to the train’s central control unit to help it travel smoothly.

More than 300 people can ride on the ART, which is comprised of three carriages in its basic state.

It has rubber wheels with plastic cores. The ART is powered by electricity, so it won’t give off carbon emissions as traditional trains do. Is this the future of urban transport.
