Politics / Where Is Yar'adua? This Is Important. by Gadols(f): 2:27pm On Feb 15, 2010
Given the fact that Goodluck Jonathan has assumed full presidential powers, its still a matter of concern that the man is there in acting capacity. I think the state of the president's health should now be probed, and if found to be ccompletely incapacitated, he should leave the scene so that Mr Goodluck can be sworn in as Mr. president.
What do you think?
Politics / Re: How Protocol Embarrassed Jonathan by Gadols(f): 5:49pm On Feb 11, 2010
Kitchen cabinet always will be. They are usually very powerful. Obj had his and Mal El-rufai was a notable member.
Power is transient. No kitchen cabinet member survives shift in power any where in the world.
It is normal.

He has just been discharged and the latest news is, Turai and Presido ar lost in transit.
The Saudi authorities are at a loss as to what went wrong. The FEC is in a very serious meeting now
Sports / Re: Nigeria Name 24 For Angola 2010 by Gadols(f): 12:50pm On Dec 31, 2009
That list is suspect. I expected the likes of Philip Osundu, Peter Ogaba and Bath Ogbechi to be there.
They are fantastic players and still making waves in europe.
Amodu should rethink.
Politics / Re: Sanusi And The Sacked Bankers by Gadols(f): 11:34pm On Dec 28, 2009
Sometimes we allow sentiments becloud our sense of judgment in this country.
When soludo started his consolidation agenda, some people were against it and even the national assembly was almost calling him to "order". They thought his policies were without human face. He did what was best at that time but how he got himself in the shadows of the banks' ceo leaves much to be desired. The effect of that "fellowship" has led to false declarations of massive profits which only shows on paper.
Today, Lamido Sanusi is sanitizing the mess created and ethnic and religious sentiments are being interpreted from his actions. Nigeria is a paradox. Let the man do his job. I dont see him towing the path of soludo. Soludo along the line metamorphosed into a politician and that again could explain why looked the other way while the CEOs were having a field day stealing and cooking up their books.
Let SLS do his job. No pain No gain.
Politics / Re: Vice Presidents House To Cost 7 Billion Naira by Gadols(f): 9:35pm On Dec 25, 2009
One governor sometime ago stole N17b naira. Just one man. Tafa balogun stole N15b. another one man. Frome just 2 we had N32b stolen. Its a tip of the iceberg. Nigeria is being depleted by the day. we havent mentioned ibori though. Hmmm, Naija wonders. Gud plle, great nation of thieves.
Abeg i don tire. Merry Christmas to you all.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Soludo Caused The Massive Bank Layoffs by Gadols(f): 12:41pm On Dec 23, 2009
metal-gong:

@Poster

By answering the following questions for me, it would also help you with the truth.

1--- How were banks faring before Soludo left the office?
2--- Were banks laying off workers during Soludo's tenure, despite the fact that the world economy had slumped into recession before he left?
3----And What made you to believe that Sanusi, the islamic scholar, would let Soludo free if he was involved in any illegal activity?
4----What do you think that gave Soludo the temerity to be contesting for Anambra guber, if he is not really proud of his tenure at CBN? Dont even be surprise if you see him as your president come 2015.

The truth is that Sanusi is responsible for all the recent woes in the banking industry and we expect him to take full responsibility of his policies.

FYI, we Anambrarians really need the services of Soludo. Hopefully, he will be voted in come feb 2010 and all his traducers would be put to shame.

You clearly show that you are not analytical in your judgement. You showed clear sentiments in your reasoning. A typical Nigerian mind.
I am ashamed of people like like you. Soludo misinformed us. Dont forget that sanusi himself was in the industry as MD of FBN b4 he was appointed the CBN boss. Pls think b4 you write.
The banks are faced with current realities and its wisdom to shed weight in order to stay afloat. Imagine the huge salaries structures they designed for themselves, how can they sustain such illusions under current realities?

Politics / Re: Nigeria: An Imbecilic Nation Pushing Fifty by Gadols(f): 8:41am On Sep 18, 2009
EFCC ought to be the starting point for Nigeria's cleansing.
What has it achieved since its creation? We had a man there
who by all standards tried to do what ought to be done.
He became s victim of that same institution.
Soludo came, tried some banking reforms, consolidated the industry.
What happened? The Bank MDs and their cohorts saw the masssive money
and we all know what the story is today.
At 50, we ar still being breast fed.
Nigeria is a shame simple put.
Politics / Re: Nigeria: An Imbecilic Nation Pushing Fifty by Gadols(f): 10:37pm On Sep 17, 2009
I like the summary description of the nation called Nigeria by lonewolf. I have often wondered myself how this country developed another spirit that is so different from other beings. It looks to me that nigeria has defied all solutions and i believe that even the heavens marvel at the way we even survive. How on earth has this country remained one despite all the provocation from our leaders? has the soul of nigeria been sold? is nigeria destined to be a consistent 3rd world country? Even in africa we are the worst interms of government, interms of corruption, interms of out dated infrastructure. We have the worst leadership in human history. corruption is celebrated in Nigeria. leaders who loot the nation's treasury are given national honours, ex governors who looted their staes treasuries are flyin around in private jets. Tha banks? we all know!
This should be a point of concern for all Nigerins. Sometimes i wonder if Nigeria will get a second chance. Will God not judge us for mis-managing the natural resources He gave us? I think he will judge us.

Hmmmm, since you just fancy watching good football, i guess you never had a stake and therefore you are unable to understand the flow that goes with passion. For some of us, it is a spirit. i wonder how you understood the tradition of a supporter when you are just floating soccer lover. you dont understand frustration do you? An Arsenal fan hung himself in kenya. We might call it foolish but he loved the club with a passion that he gave his life. Unfortunately his life can not win them trophies to say the least. Frustration can make you change your statusquo. Thats what i did. Chelsea play good football with great character. i was a silent supporter of the club and when i found out that arsenal FC does not even have a clear focus for themselves, i quit the club and pitched tent with one of the finest clubs in europe- CHELSEA.
Am gona be here for life. i believe you know that chelsea will be a team to beat next season.
watch us.
Up Blues!!!!
Sports / Re: Arsenal Fans Decamp by Gadols(f): 7:03pm On May 31, 2009
@switch47 and other looser,
Well, its history that CHELSEA just picked up the oldest trophy on earth.
I have said b4 that we are sure to pick it. Its a shame some Arsenal fans kept insisting
that we have old men as players playing against their grandsons. I dont know what to say.
Football is about winning trophies. Play all the good football without trophies and lets see whether you will enter
history books.
I havent for once regretted leaving arsenal. If anything, am more fulfilled.
UP CHELSEA, UP BLUES!!!!

I need an advice for my friend whose wife is hardly at home due to her job. The wife runs her own firm though.
He complained that their sex life is very bad. like 3 times in 2 weeks.
He has decided to have an affair but the dude is asking if that will amount to cheating on his wife.
I feel he shouldnt do that as that wont help matters.
What do you guys think?

I pity you. you forget so soon. The same aged players whip your toddlers 4-1. Pls get a life my friend.

Chelsea will win the FA cup. You know that. You guys dont even have a bench at the moment. You need experience. Solomon kalou can make a difference for you. Grab him.
