Thanks a million, very clear and detailed... olokings: Login into MyUNB and goto international payments and tuition.
Generate an invoice (for your choice amount) using CIBC student pay (in USD). Print the SWIFT PAY instruction sent to you and use it to process your Form A.
PS: look for any trustworthy person with Jaiz bank account, credit them with the equivalent CBN rate naira and have them pay your school fees for you. Process doesn't take more than 7 busines days to reflect in your UNB student account.
Good luck. |

I understand how frustrating the whole sputum can be as my medicals took 4 months...if possible don't message Nairobi about your application. Keep sending them email about your medicals and how frustrating and tiring the experience have been for you. Nairobi never replied me even when I was told my file was there but they updated it after two week..Keep sending Nairobi emails at least twice a day, tell them how your medical delays is affecting your mental health bla blah blah...Be precise, detailed and a bit emotional...These people don't play with mental health and well-being...Don't worry too much, as long as your sputum was clear, the rest are just formalities, it will be updated to pass.... Once your medical is updated to pass, your decision will follow almost immediately...Goodluck to you...And please don't forget the email, at least twice a day... HouseRavenclaw: Hi! Thank you for the response. Since the last week of February I've sent a total of four webforms. The first two emphasizing on how long my entire application has been (going on 9 months) and the remaining two emphasizing on my upcoming physical classes and how my plans remain in limbo because of the waiting period. I attached my e-medical and I didn't hear back at all.
I emailed ALL the offices and received responses from the London office, which directed me to Nairobi and about 20 something working days later, Nairobi gave me the typical auto-generated "under review" message.
I had my friend reach out to his MP's office and they assigned him as a third party communicator so he can request for more information on my application and they gave me a waiting period of 15 working days. This was since the 6th of April.
I also ordered my GCMS notes yesterday. I'll probably send some more emails tomorrow since I haven't done it in a while and have been very demoralized. I'll just pour all that melancholy into the emails and send them off. Thank you. |

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by gaeul(f): 6:45pm On Apr 21, 2022 |
If that's is the case then start sending webforms and emails...send mails to Nairobi, Nigeria, London offices but concentrate on Nairobi and send webforms too....Don't relent, emphasize how the experience been exhausting and almost depressing for you...u can send same email to all contacts...please be persistent...just keep sending, that's what I did in my case and it was updated to pass and same day I got my BVL and PPR seven days later....it took about 2weeks from the first email and webform before it was updated...Good luck to you... HouseRavenclaw: I did the final xray since January the 20th. It wasn't possible for me to forget because I'd known since I did the sputum test. After that I received another email from IRCC asking for my results to be sent to a pulmonary specialist who would interpret it and send back a report.
All of this finished in February and IRCC confirmed receipt of my files because I was given the eMedicals slip. There's no request pending and I was prompt with all my submissions. If they didn't receive my files, it wouldn't have changed to "under review" and IOM would've reached out to me. I made sure to have a cordial relationship with several nurses and doctors. |

There is a final x-ray after passing your sputum test, please contact iom or qlife where u did your medicals, you might have a pending request...Goodnews is your medical expires a year after it is updated to passed not when you started or did your first x-ray HouseRavenclaw: My medicals have been looming "under review" since the 18th of February. Bizarre part is I was recommended for a sputum test. My original medical prompt came October 15th and I waited two months to pass the sputum test, only to wait two months since February for medical processing.
You'd think that cases like mine that have already been lengthened will be hastened but people who got their medicals done this April are being passed before mine of two months. There's nothing I haven't done or sent and no one I haven't called. I'm ordering GCMS notes today because I've read that sometimes your medicals can be passed on the visa officer's notes but they won't upload it on your page until they have a final decision ready. |

Mine was; Submission: Nov 3rd Biometrics: Nov 8th Upfront Medical passsd: February 15th BVL: February 15th Final Decision February 22nd makano: Hello House
Trust we all had a great Easter holiday.
Real quick,
I have been observing or seeing an increased number of cases where people have received BVL but PPR is pending. Posting this here to see and track success for those who received BVL and decision was received after how many days/weeks and months.
Below are samples that I know of personally:
Submission: Nov 10th Biometrics: Nov 12th Medical request: March 15th BVL: March 24th No Final Decision yet
Application Submission Date 11 January 2022 Upfront Medical Passed 23 March 2022 Eligibility Started 1 April 2022 BVL/Correspondence Letter dropped 14 April 2022 No Final Decision yet
It has been observed that this is a recent operation of the IRCC officials , what I dont know is if its only Limited to the Nairobi Office or its across all IRCC centers ..
If your application falls in this recent operation, please let the house know so we can eventually know the outcome of these affected applications, cos to be honest it hasnt been easy for these Applicants.. IRCC doing what it knows how to do best, giving young Nigerans High Bp..
It will all end in praise..
Peace |

What we did; we got a letter from our school stating Tuition deposit isn't required and students are expected to pay a week after resumption... Whatever you choose to do, just tick all the right boxes and give a detailed explanation in your SOP..... Teeunz: Hello good day everyone.
Please gurus in the house, I need your contributions please,
1. Is it compulsory to pay school fees before applying even if sufficient money is in the account?
2.If I don't pay do I need to mention when I will be making the payments in my sop?

One year isn't one century...it's best to opt for a 2year program to get your three year PSW...I know of so many people that had to relocate back to Nigeria unplanned when Covid 19 came visiting unexpectedly.....Anything worth doing is worth doing well... ShowYoung: While I understand your point of view, I want to make it clear that It's not a risk if you have prepared and mapped out your strategies to get PR after 1 year course.
If one year course is your only ladder to get to Canada, please don't hesitate to climb it because if you don't have enough funds for 2 year course to convince the visa officer, you may likely not even leave Nigeria.
Are you aware you only need to study in New Brunswick for 6 months without a job offer to get eligible for PNP?
Are you aware that if you target IT courses, Health courses among others, your chances of getting a white collar job is very high? Android Developers, Mobile Developers, Web Developers, Data Analylist/Scientists, Personal Care Support Workers etc are in high demand. If I could get an interview from Canada just because I learned Android Programming without even working in that line, how much more would it be if I was physically present there!
You don't need to work in the profession relating to your course of study. You only need to secure a job in NOCs A, B or C to qualify for CEC.
Are you aware of 1+1 course strategy?
Are you aware of Manitoba MPNP that requires connection to the province?
Are you aware of Saskatchewan Tech and SINP?
Your point of high risk is for those who do not have many strategies mapped out before studying.
Let us also weigh in the worst case scenario, if I can add Canadian 1 year course to my EE profile or some PNP profiles, I am damn sure I will qualify for PR.
RNIMP is also there, just study in either Ontario, Manitoba or BC, RNIMP is looking for you. Apart from these three provinces, many other provinces are looking for graduates for RNIMP.
All you need do is to arm yourself to the teeth with good and correct information and don't say "I must live in Ontario or BC" when Saskatchewan, Manitoba, PEI, NFL etc are looking for you. |

I was rejected a tourist visa to the USA and I'm currently applying for a study Visa to Canada. During the course of filling out my application form, I was asked if I have ever been rejected a visa in Canada or any country. Will saying 'yes' affect my chances of getting a Canadian study visa? RxOtunba: Hello,
Please for someone who wants to apply as a family (student + wife and kids), what kind of visa will the wife apply for, is it a visitor's visa (since sowp takes so long, or when applied together with the student, sowp will be treated faster)?
For children of ages between 5-15yrs, what visa will be applied? Study permit right?
Can Sickle Cell condition affect the medical/visa outcome? One of the children is a Sickle Cell patient. |
