I think it's time to send them an email Nicky123: It depends on the department though. My department admission closed Jan 31st and promised to get back to prospective students Feb. But nothing since then. I feel New Brunswick admission is generally slow. |

technix: First, I hope you have sent your new letter of acceptance via webform to IRCC, if not, please do.
Because you have indicated that your spouse is not accompanying you (I assume) when filling your study permit application, this is dicey. If you still want to apply before you leave, I will advise that you wait till about 2 months before your departure, then apply for your spouse's open work permit. You can add your study permit to his application via webform when you get it. But you will have to justify why he is now accompanying you; I think you can leverage the fact that you deferred your admission to weave a story.
Medical exam is required for visitor visa if it's more than 6 months. |

Also, when using the new portal, at the end of the application, should the 16 year old applicant sign by herself or one of her parent should sign for her?
Please I await your replies. |

Kaycherry: In My Opinion...I think you can still travel....you may need to have evidence with u that you informed IRCC about the pregnancy and also update your POF to show you can pay for the delivery, also get a doctors appointment and above all...Pray to God. Wish you best of luck. |

. ItzRay: September is a new academic year and because of that some schools don't grant deferal request to September but instead they'll tell you to reapply for September and then give you a admission for September.
I had same issue as your...i wanted to defer to May intake but my school refused and told me to reapply to September and gave me an application fee waiver code. I applied as soon as possible after getting the application fee waiver code and wasn't charged for admission application and after 2 weeks, i got admission for September 2022 with a new LOA. I applied and my tuition deposit for first sememster of January 2022 was also transferred to September 2022.
So if you can, write to your school and ask them for a waiver code to reapply and afterwards you can reapply for September or you can choose to go with January academic session if they say you can commence with it. (This was my experience sha)
All the best, it'll end in praise. |

olasubomy: Hi gaeul,
UNB intakes date for MBA is January and September maybe thats why they have refused to defer to May so you can appeal to them to defer to September and see if that works.
It would be too late to resume for January (winter) semester now because the semester is already rounding up and you may not be able to catch up with classes.
I pray you are able to get this sorted.
All the best! |

blessingflow: If you apply for another admission in another school, you will need to also apply for a new study permit again because you are changing your school, I guess you wouldn't want to go through that route again.
The LOA issued to you in the month of January is still valid, and I believe you can travel with it. Have you been taking your online classes? If yes, good for you. But however, you can also confirm from your school if you can still resume for January session. |

mrprolifik: Even you get an admission into another College before you travel to Canada , you will need to apply for another Study permit with a new Letter of acceptance. If the program also starts in September 2022 I would advice you defer till that time and get another letter of acceptance all you just need to do is inform IRCC of your new start date. |

Just appeal to your school with very good reasons. I have been deferring mine since 2019 and my reasons are always valid. Although my school ideally only accept one deferral but in all general rule, there are room for exceptions... Heledy: Abeg, what's the maximum number of times someone can defer his/her admission.
I have deferred mine 3 times now....
can I defer again? |
