We spoke about buhari, Evans and even the cost of rice. He told me he wishes to come to Nigeria that he learnt that our ladies obows are one of a kind. I even opened a nairaland account for him. Nice guy.

Let's begin our day with lies. Nigeria itself na lie

Enough of the celebration, biko. We have more concerns right now. There is Feghouli, Mahrez, Delort, Ounas and Slimani to worry about in our next game.

Whatever happens, I pray Drake does not famz us and wish our dear Super Eagles well.
Bro you are corrct but something tells me that on sunday we will see a super eagles we ve not seen in this tournament. They ve been taking every game as they come and been improving with the tournament. I beleive that with the cup within striking distance, we will witness the boys at their bery best..like some have predicted here, i think the algerians will come out smoking against us and then we will sting them. Up eagles!!

very scary..
I remember when I asked for permission to leave the plane from the US to the UK becos of FLIGHT-FRIGHT. it was and still and always will be one day I'd never forget. FLYING ON AN aeroplane IS LIKE HANGING on a tree just on your neck tie on a windy day.
Believe me theres nothing to fear. Turbulence is normal, it has NEVER caused a crash.

My only concern is that CPR was started on someone who actually had a pulse to begin with!! Was he trying to restart a functioning heart?? The whole drama of starting resuscitation was unnecessary at the point in time. The indication to start CPR is absence of a pulse or breathing effort, not to buy time. What would have been more appropriate is an ABCDE assessment.

Having said that, well done Dr King for your bravery and I hope this calls government's attention to the appalling lack of any emergency services in the country.
Believe me bro it won’t call governments attention to anything. We are actually a failed nation. Our country needs a real CPR urgently

Yekini's contribution off the pitch.

(This was one of the most enjoyable matches for me).

Nigeria was scheduled to play Burkina Faso at the National Stadium in 1991. It was a qualifying game for the African Nations Cup in Senegal in 1992.

The Burkinabe coach was boasting that they would beat the Eagles in Lagos. His boasts shocked and surprised me. "What is a Burkina Faso?" I discussed this with my neighbour and he said that the coach was just trying to motivate his players.

Anyway, on match day, I settled down for an epic game. The NTA showed the stadium during their 12pm news and it was already full. I was the only person at home and I went to the kitchen to prepare a hefty lunch (fried yam, plantain, potatoes and eggs).

The players came out of the tunnel and they looked very weird. They wore very long shorts, the kind of shorts that my sister would call "kembe".

I later found out what happened. The Eagles had camped at Obasanjo Farms in Ota and had come to Lagos on game day. Unfortunately the kit manager had forgotten the Eagles' shorts in Ota. He was sent to get the shorts, but time was running out. Nigeria was going to suffer a walk over if the game didn't start on time.

Yekini came up with the solution. Why didn't they get razor blades and cut the bottom of their tracksuits in order to turn them into shorts. That's what they did and the Eagles played the first half in those shorts. Their regular shorts arrived before the second half.

The Federal Government later sacked the NFA board for embarrassing the nation. I had a relative that was in the NFA board at that time and he told me that they only heard about the sacking on the radio. They were not informed before hand.

Of course Yekini also scored 4 goals as Nigeria defeated Burkina Faso 7-1. I was angry that they allowed Burkina Faso to score.
I remember that match. It was in that match that Finidi George established himself as a dependable provider of pin point accurate passess to Yekini

Yes it has come to stay

Canaan city has come to stay . The church of God is marching on and the gate of hell shall not prevail.

I visited Canaan city today and it was whaooooo. Indeed it was a city in the wilderness. I saw a governor who purchased one of the duplex driving out the estate. It was heaven on earth. Thank God its meant for only our members. The houses are affordable. Your level determines where you stay. Good roads and 24hours electricity. Haters and family of daddy freeze keep living in darkness of Nigeria.

Am a candidate of heaven.

Nice, Lagos or Abuja

Look beyond the physical shortcomings.

Equip yourself...read a lot, when you talk it would be filled with substance and people would be amazed and respect you.

Lastly, surround yourself with people of substance and like minds.

Peace.
Great response; OP build yourself mentally, i mean if you become an expert or authority on a given field, the world will bow at your feet believe me. Never, NEVER feel intimidated by anyone, unlock and develop your hidden and explosive potentials. Nothing do you brother

PoliticsRe: Atiku Floors Buhari In Governor Ambode’s Ward by gamechanger1: 2:45pm On Feb 24, 2019
Let's be fair to the south west, APC might be the dominant party there but PDP would usually get some good votes. And even if APC wins, the margin may not be that much. I guess this is what they mean when they say they have sophisticated electorates. PDP supporters would do well to market their candidates to the Yorubas strictly on issues and avoid any mention of ethnicity.

I have a feeling that more Yourubas would have voted for PDP if the Igbos gave them a little more respect for being peaceful hosts.

If electorates across all regions display this kind of sophistication Nigerian politics would evolve to a much higher level than it is today

I have a very funny and annoying case I'm dealing with right about now.

A company contacted me to design calendars for 2019 for them. After 2weeks of designing and countless tweaking plus product photo sessions, it got to the print stage and I suddenly the company said they can't pay the amount I requested for the print job.

I said OK fine, this is the soft copy of the job, get a printer to do the printing for less than what I offered, they went ahead and printed elsewhere even though the manager later confirmed they paid more for the printing compared with what I offered.

Now, the issue is this, I need my money for my intellectual property and time put into the design for calendar that they have already shared to their customers. To my greatest shock, I was told I won't be paid a dime.

What is their reason for not paying me? That I wasn't the one that printed the job, hence I won't be paid for the design. Like wtf are they talking about.

I'm already getting legal advice on how to recover my money from them.

Starting up a business ain't child's play people. Perseverance will surely pay in the long run. Stay focused, don't give up.
Never make the mistake of giving out your designs without being paid. If they think I intellectual property has no value, they can design their stuff themselves

Tinubu should just pardon this clueless Buffoon to run his tenure....However he remains the worst democratically elected governor of Lagos State...

No composure, no charisma, can't even articulate his ideas coherently and under him, Lagos became the most chaotic and dirtiest city in Nigeria..
If Tinubu opposes him on these grounds then it’s acceptable but I have a feeling he is being punished for offenses other than incompetence
